Shoot. You have identical symptoms to me, horrible isn't it?

Had an appointment with the midwife and she has referred me for my booking in apt and scan. I put myself at only 6+2, but she is dating me two weeks later since I didn't have a real period since coming off the pill. Means I will only be around 10 weeks when I have my scan though. Just waiting for my letter now.

ShootTheMoon · 04/02/2015 17:33

My sympathies becca, it's awful. I was never like this with DD so it's a bit of a shock! Any helpful hints?

Shame the MW wouldn't listen about your dates Confused

The only thing that I have found that helps slightly, is eating little and often. My husband also bought me some chewable ginger things which are quite good for the nausea. They don't taste good though and the ginger kinda burns your mouth. Think they are made by vitabiotic.

MyNameIsSuz · 04/02/2015 18:08

Sorry to hear everyone is feeling so crap! I'm feeling generally pathetic, just had a terrible tantrum from ds on the way home from the childlike, screaming and flailing and wellies flying into the road, I just didn't have enough strength, I'm done in!

Midwife appointment tomorrow at 9+5, still no scan appointment so this is my chance to chase Smile.

Jackieharris · 04/02/2015 18:48

natalie oh I'm the same re: smells! I had to change cups because I could smell coffee from a cup that'd been through the dishwasher!

I have no appetite either. All day all I've had is a slice and a half of banana bread and I'm eating a frys chocolate creme now. No wonder I'm losing weight!

DoctorDonnaNoble · 04/02/2015 18:54

I'm off coffee now. Not even my decaf is tempting me now.

misssmilla1 · 04/02/2015 19:26

My digestion is clearly terrible as I'm having major issues with burping; spent 2 hours last night crippled with it and had to get the OH to wind me (oh the glamour) woke up burping this morning and it's carried on all day unless I'm actually eating. Also constipated and resorting to eating prunes!

My sense of smell is off the scale - coffee, bins, the fridge, other peoples' feet in the gym, BO on the train etc. I don't think I'm hormonal but clearly I am; snapped at the OH this morning when he was reading things to me from the paper over breakfast to try and take my mind off the burping Blush

ShootTheMoon · 04/02/2015 19:28

DDN, I have gone off tea and coffee entirely which is completely unheard of! Had to go through caffeine withdrawal this week. I don't have any problem with a bit of caffeine in pg but the thought of tea makes me hurl.

Suz, sorry to hear that, DD has been on fine form this evening, she's always hard to handle when DH is away. And she just can't sit still, not even for a moment. The constant fidgeting drives me nuts!

Becca I might try then but I don't think I could handle ginger right now. And I can hardly bear to eat, it's so weird (and so unlike me!)

No appetite for me either and intense period pains. Hurry up 12 weeks.
7+3

alien11 · 04/02/2015 20:04

Sorry most of you are feeling so rough ??
Is there anyone out there who is feeling nothing different?! I'm still panicking I'm not actually pregnant ?? I'm going to take a clearblue Digi test on Monday to see if I actually am. Jealous of all your symptoms as it shows something is growing within you

Lauramum23 · 04/02/2015 20:11

Alien I don't have much symptoms either, achy boobs on and off bit tired but I usually am lol and I can't see me ever going off tea! Never ever, I haven't thru 3 pregnancies before anyway!

Lauramum23 · 04/02/2015 20:17

Oh and I wish I had no appetite! Chance would be a fine thing, oh and I wouldn't bother with clearblue digi I did one yesterday as like you I was thinking am I? Did one and it said pregnant 2-3 it should have said 3+ but having panic read threads on odd results most said they are unreliable wish I hadn't bothered! Doh! Shock I've said before I wish I could just look inside myself to see whats going on!

ShootTheMoon · 04/02/2015 21:30

Alien, I wouldn't worry. With my daughter, I only ever had a bit of heartburn, which got quite bad in the end. And eventually high BP (but didn't feel anyeffects). I don't really remember much except a weird sense of smell from the first trimester.

My body is obviously making up for it this time.

GailTheFish · 04/02/2015 21:45

Alien I'm the same! Practically no symptoms here (I'm 8 + 2) other than slightly sore boobs, bit tired and very hungry, but that's not that different to normal! Have also been contemplating weekly digi tests to double check until the 12 week scan. I can't believe it's only been 4 weeks since my BFP, time is moving very very slowly...

Bippidee · 04/02/2015 22:11

Yuck. Turns out my (ahem, tmi) loose bowel is actually gastric flu. So, so not happy about this.

ljjeffro · 04/02/2015 22:13

im 10 weeks today and have no symptoms apart from my boobs being sore every now and then. ive done 5 pregnancy tests and I only did the last one last Wednesday just to make sure and it was still positive. The only reason I feel remotely pregnant is cos I feel like im massive already!

alien11 · 05/02/2015 06:52

Thank you for your reassurance that I may still be pregnant.ive also been doing loads of cheapie tests that are coming up strong positives. Just worried about nothing being there..
Oh well 3 weeks today until booking appt??ages away!! Then goodness knows when a scan would be. I have to keep myself busy for next 3 weeks, thankfully the holiday should take some of that time up.
Told my dad yday and he was pleased Grin he jokingly said we need a boy in the family as 3 girls at the mo!haha
This morning I couldn't drag myself out of bed for dog walk but instead just laid awake ???? point being?!?!

I'm struggling with cutting down sugary/choc things. I have such a sweet tooth.?? when I was pregnant with I was so so good!

It's so nice to have this place to share my thoughts etc.thank you everyone Smile

Ps-7 weeks today!??

lastnightiwenttomanderley · 05/02/2015 07:15

7+3 here with no real symptoms either. Very tired and occasionally have food pit in front of me and think 'na, don't fancy that at all' but no real sickness, sore boobs etc. Tested when I was 4+4 and result came up super quickly. Been resisting the urge to check again! No news on booking appt or scan yet which is a bit frustrating as, given how long booking appt is, could do with it being in Feb half term as I'm off then.

lastnightiwenttomanderley · 05/02/2015 07:16

PS. Sugar fiend also and desperately trying to cut down!

banterbus · 05/02/2015 07:36

alien I am exactly one day ahead of you and today when I woke up was the first and only time I had a strong symptom! Woke up with the worst sickness until I ate two spoonfuls of cereal and then it disappeared again thankfully. So when you wake up tomorrow you might feel the same!

Treaclepie19 · 05/02/2015 07:40

There's a lot of us around the 7 week mark :)
7+4 today.
I'm counting down the days til I'm past when I miscarried last time (8+3).

Hodds89 · 05/02/2015 07:51

Hi is anyone else 5-6 weeks and not having symptoms?? This is #2 .... #1 wasnt so easy!!!!

Whatabout · 05/02/2015 08:12

I'm 8+5 and my symptoms really haven't been so bad this time around. Terrifying the life out of me. I'm also checking the colour of my cm against a dulux paint chart in my head. Two nights in a row I've had some that is darker cream. Making me panic. A lot.

butterflycats · 05/02/2015 08:12

I'd give anything to have no symptoms! Hyperemesis here, struggling to stay awake and supposed to be sitting an exam in 2.5 weeks.....!

ditzzy · 05/02/2015 08:20

Booking in appointment this morning Grin

9+1 from LMP, 9+4 from early scan - my main symptom is still extreme hunger - quite unusual for me, but I'm actually quite enjoying it, food is tasting wonderful, and its so satisfying when it makes me feel better so instantly! If I don't eat when hungry it gets really quite uncomfortable though, more a trapped wind type feeling than anything else.

I've been feeling odd twinges when coughing this week though, I guess it's the round ligament pain everyone else has commented on when sneezing?
