I've been having the sneezing pain too, apparently it's quite normal :)

Also about the cm, mines been darker than normal too. I'm trying hard not to worry.

Cornberry · 05/02/2015 08:32

butterflycats you poor thing. I'm 10+1 today and into my fourth week off work with extreme MS. It's a nightmare and I feel so sorry for all the women who have it. My poor OH is exhausted too because I'm sick at night and can't sleep from the nausea so it's taking its toll on both if us. I'm praying for some respite at 12 weeks. If this carries on much longer I don't know what i'll do. You're brave to take an exam! I can only just make it to the toilet. Have you got any meds?

nutelladipper · 05/02/2015 08:37

Morning all,
I hope everyone's ok. Not read back all I've missed yet.
I'm plodding along, no symptoms at all now (11+2). I even managed to go out last night and stay awake!

Looking huge, my mum even commented. Struggling to get into none maternity jeans now. I've gained 6lbs so far which is stressing me out a little. It's mainly as eating has been the only thing to keep sickness at bay so I'm hoping I can control myself now I'm feeling more normal. With DS & DD I only gained about 20lbs in total and that was hard enough to shift so I don't want to gain more than that if I can help it.

Xx

Glad its not just me!!! I swear fisrt 3 months seem longer than my last pregnancy!!! Abit TMI but i seem to be going for a number two more than a number 1 recently Confused

alien11 · 05/02/2015 08:47

Sorry to hear some of you are really suffering ????
Hope booking appt goes well x

Choccyhobnob · 05/02/2015 09:08

I've got my booking in appointment today but had an early scan yesterday, all good! Smile 8+1 so one day further along than I thought. Couldn't stop smiling when I saw its little heartbeat!

DefinitelyNotElsa · 05/02/2015 09:12

Good luck to all of you with booking appointments today!

I've got an early scan in an hour at the EPU. Slightly freaking out, but trying to look calm.

Treaclepie19 · 05/02/2015 09:49

Congrats choccy :)

Good luck Definitelynotelsa :)

Being in the food aversion camp is annoying. It's hard to eat the right things as I just don't fancy eating anything. If I try and eat something I don't fancy I feel sick.

Treaclepie19 · 05/02/2015 09:49

*Though I wouldn't change it for the world if it means baby is healthy.

Choccyhobnob · 05/02/2015 10:06

I felt like I'd been making it up as I've had hardly any symptoms and everyone says the worse you feel the better it is but I've felt completely normal! So lovely to be reassured.

Snowflake15 · 05/02/2015 10:19

Congrats choccy! May I ask what kind of scan they did? I'm getting one when I think I will be 8+3 but they said they might have to do transvaginal one, I'm hoping not though!

Treaclepie19 · 05/02/2015 10:26

Snowflake I had an abdominal scan at 6+4 and could see everything so you should be fine :)

sauvblanc21 · 05/02/2015 10:41

Someone brought in chocolate covered doughnuts today - YUMMERS!!!!! Luckily my queasiness has so far been restricted to early morning and around supper time in evening - still eating just very choosy!! (She says chowing down on doughnut!) Oh and boobs still aching AND have gone a bit veiny now - ick! Xx

Choccyhobnob · 05/02/2015 11:07

Yes it was abdominal, with a very full bladder to make sure they got a nice clear picture Smile

GoooRooo · 05/02/2015 11:12

I'm jumping in! Due 27th September. I'm 40 and will be 41 when this one arrives (but a couple of weeks - really wanted to sneak it in before then!)

This is DC2, I have a DS who will be three in April. I had a miscarriage last year at 10 weeks (baby stopped growing at 6 weeks).

I have a long long history of TTC. Took five years with DS. Took 18 months to fall again and then MC. Only took 8 months this time.

Private early scan booked for 18th Feb.
Booking in appointment with midwife booked for 19th Feb.

Absolutely crapping myself that I will have another MC.

Panhaggis · 05/02/2015 11:53

Hi, can I join this thread? I've been lurking for a while but I had my booking in appt yesterday and now it all feels a bit more real! I'm 8 + 5 today and feeling a bit less pregnant - even less bloated which is worrying me a little.

ditzzy · 05/02/2015 11:59

Two new girls this morning! How exciting Grin

Booking in this morning was fine, not all that exciting. She confirmed I will be consultant-led, but for a historic cardiac issue rather than my current blood pressure (which was remarkably well-behaved when she took it today). Blood tests and urine tests and a promise of a scan date through the post.

ditzzy · 05/02/2015 12:05

P.S. I've been on the spreadsheet and 'restored' an earlier version, which I believe has put the names back on. It may have undone any other changes people have made over the past week, so if you've added anything recently you might want to check it's still there!

If my restoration trick hasn't worked, then someone else will have to take a look, it's possible it's only altered it on what I can see rather than waht everyone can see...

GoooRooo · 05/02/2015 12:14

Ooohhh I did wonder why the spreadsheet had no names on it. I've added my details. I am SO OLD compared to most of you.

booboobeedoo11 · 05/02/2015 12:37

Hey everyone...been MIA for a bit! Been back to work and exhausted/nauseous the
last 2 weeks. 7+5 here and the exaustion is awful! Also look about 5 months pregnant! Maternity jeans and work trousers for the last week already!

Booking in appointment on sunday for me and another long ass 4wks til the scan!

Hope everyone is well....not had time to look back as we are so chatty!

butterflycats · 05/02/2015 12:42

cornberry it's really taking it's toll on hubby here too. I've got my final GP exam but can't see me making it, I can't get past 2pm without falling asleep as well! I've got metoclopramide, cyclizine and stemetil, and still vomiting, heaving and feeling constantly sick. We're going for a scan on Monday just to cheer me up! Had my booking appt and scan isn't until 27th and we're off on holiday for 3 weeks on the 5th so want to check everything is ok!

What medications have they given you?

butterflycats · 05/02/2015 12:43

gooroo there is no such thing as old!

DoctorDonnaNoble · 05/02/2015 12:44

Just had call from the doctor and she's got me an appointment tomorrow for my early scan.
I should be happy, BUT, I had three vials of blood yesterday and I've had two texts saying nothing to worry about. What if the third was the one that measure pregnancy hormone and it's not within parameters and that's why I've suddenly got no problem getting the appointment.
I know it's illogical as the EPU told the midwife yesterday that she couldn't refer me without symptoms they needed doctor for that and I've been waiting for this call since yesterday.
I need to get a grip, don't I?

TerrysNo3 · 05/02/2015 12:55

DrDonna shall I tell you not to worry and get a grip?? Will you listen?? Wink

I realised the other day that although I have seen a HB and still feel pregnant (although not many symptoms - nipples like bullets, waves of nausea, tiredness) I can't seem to reconcile in my head that everything could be ok. I keep expecting something to go wrong, I think its because at this stage I am remembering my miscarriage and my ectopic pregnancies and not my 2 successful ones.

So I think all this worry is normal and there is nothing we can do to control this so just roll with it! And if you're anything like me, keep a countdown chart in your head until your next scan. Mines on the 14th as we're off on holiday on the 18th (long distance for 10 days) and I wanted some reassurance.

Lauramum23 · 05/02/2015 13:03

I second the countdown to little goals! I'm at midwife next week but my next goal is 8 weeks which is 2 weeks away! Then I'll wait for 10 weeks then it will be scan time!
Imagine years ago when they didn't have scans! At least we have them quite regularly these days x
