Hello everyone! Congratulations.
I'm 6+6 and due on 24th Sept. Found out at 4+2 as had been trying for 8.5 months so on the lookout.

Suspected as felt nauseous before AF even late. Haven't actually been sick yet so v grateful for that. Have had pulling and tenderness in my lower abdomen since the beginning and tiredness kicked in a week ago, plus up to the bathroom god knows how many times a night.

So so happy though and can't wait for scan. Booking appt on the 16th, I'll be 8+4.

When I don't feel sick I can't stop eating. Lost sweet tooth completely the first 2 weeks but back a bit now.

Best of luck to all.

Jessica32 · 04/02/2015 08:49

Oh, and boobs absolutely kill! Been wearing a crop top to bed which helps a bit but not much.

alien11 · 04/02/2015 08:50

Hi jessica welcome ! You have the same edd as me?? I don't have booking in appt until 10 weeks. My dd was born 28th sept so should be interesting to see whn this one arrives!
This place is great for airing any worries/queries.

sauvblanc21 · 04/02/2015 09:17

Hi Jessica I'm 6+3 and also have booking in on 16th Feb! X

TheMidnightHour · 04/02/2015 09:41

Hello! Just popping in to say I have my booking in tomorrow :) I was asked to take my NHS #, nothing else. Just hoping I can find the place - it's all new since we moved in Nov.

I haven't put any weight on (10+2) which surprised the heck out of me as I was on a restrictive diet losing around 1kg week before. I thought that was too fast, but it was NHS recommended - trust wouldn't refer you for fertility investigations with a BMI over 29.9. Came off it with relief the minute I got a BFP :) Literally just in time for a big family dinner!

Although my weight is the same +/- 300g 8 days out of 10, the other 2 are really pot luck - one day it was down 2.5kg, another up 1kg. It's normal I think so if you don't weigh often, don't worry about a few lb. This lady had a shift of 6 or 7lb in a single day, back and forth www.biotrimlabs.com/health-vault/health/what-happens-when-you-weigh-yourself-15-times-in-one-day

SpamAnderson · 04/02/2015 09:54

Sorry I haven't been about much, all feels a bit wrong since brickie found out about her mmc :(
I'm now 8+2 and have had no symptoms for 2 weeks other than stomach ache every time I eat something warm and a craving for salt. I've lost 10lbs though which is good. 13lbs to go before I let the mw weigh me so I'm not automatically recorded as high risk.
Had my booking in appointment on Monday, bloods done etc. they were lovely but gave me the paperwork about elevated bmi causing issues with the baby and taking about breastfeeding which I have told them straight off that I will not be doing. I've told them the plan is pain relief free again, midwife led unit and a water birth. They did suggest a home birth as dd2 was a planned hb but we had to go in as there were no midwives available.
DH isn't happy about a hb though as he thinks he'd panic something would go wrong and we'd be a long way from the hospital etc.

Lauramum23 · 04/02/2015 09:58

I'm on my second breakfast bloody starving! Got a manky headache tho, think I'll take contacts out and wear glasses ,got a long day ahead of me taking my 11 year old son to a badminton tournament and it's an hours drive away.
Btw had to tell kids as the 11 year old was snooping on phone! (I had been keeping it with me and the one time I didn't!) he found a pregnancy app!! Mum why have you got a pregnancy app on your phone? Oh Lordy! So we told them and they are very exited and ask a million questions every day! It's gonna be a long 9 months! It's harder to keep things from them when they are bigger, the big 2 were only 5 and 2 when I had my youngest so it was easy not to tell them, it was weird tho as the other night my youngest looked at me and said I think you have a baby in your tummy mum!? I said oh do you? Grin Shish kids eh?!

Lolababy00 · 04/02/2015 10:23

lauramum had an awfull night as well, youngest woke and I didn't want to move as I didn't want to be sick. DP working away so really not good. Also my son gave me a hug and said "feels like another baby in there" we haven't told them yet as I always wait untill after scan. Football tournament tomorrow !!!

Lauramum23 · 04/02/2015 10:29

Well ideally I would have waited till scan but he caught me off guard, I explained to them it's very very early and sometimes babies just don't grow properly etc so I have prepared them but hopefully everything will be fine, and if something happens there's nothing I can do anyway.
Neve mind driving I could just go to kip, gotta get my arse in gear.... 10 more mins x

ag123 · 04/02/2015 10:47

Oh my god, can't believe I've done this but have just booked another private scan for this afternoon. Am just such a stress-head and it's my day off today and I just couldn't resist. Now feel completely sick with anxiety about what they might say. Just going to be me and 3yo DS there...what if it's bad news, what the hell will I do with him there?! But it's 3 whole weeks til my nhs one and it's just so long to wait. Going to be £200 total virtually down the drain whatever the result. Confused

Jackieharris · 04/02/2015 10:53

Morning!

I had very weird vivid dream last night. Don't feel very well rested. Dp did school run so I didn't have to be up early rushing around which I find makes me feel more sicky in the morning. I better have some tea and something to drink soon though, as I find the nausea tends to come on when I've not eaten for a while. Although last night I was really thirsty so drank loads of Apple juice which then didn't feel very nice. My appetites still much lower- I only ate half my dinner last night but at least I remembered to take my pregnancy pill. They are so huge I can only take then squished into food. I choke if I try to take it just with liquid.

I'm also finding I'm sneezing more. Anyone else? I was quite allergic during one previous pregnancy- I'm hoping I'll be ok in spring/summer.

There's another thread on here about the things you 'need' for a new baby. It's scary! We're too early to buy anything yet but I was intending on keeping purchases to a minimum. We got rid of everything from the other DCs! I've never even heard of most of the things on that thread.

spam that's terrible that they refused to send midwives to your home, I hope you complained.

themidnighthour oh I've had that experience on the scales in the past-fluctuations of several pounds over 1 day- it's crazy!

alien11 · 04/02/2015 10:58

Goodness me I'm shattered! Up @6 for dog walk, then get dd ready for pre school then do food shop, unload, make dinner, unload dishwasher, unload and load washing machine.
Starting to get pains so making my 2nd brekkie and laying down with a de caf cuppa for the 45 mins I have before going to collect dd!

ISolemnlySwearImUptoNoGood · 04/02/2015 11:06

Had my pregnancy 'confirmed' with the nurse...total waste of time, she didn't even do a test just asked me if I had done one!
Don't you just hate that, when you're forced into the surgery and are there for so little time, everyone in the waiting room gives you Hmm this look?!

On a plus note, my edd is our first wedding anniversary Smile feeling a bit mushy over this! Wouldn't it be lovely if little bean arrived on schedule?

Loving all the scan pics! Can't wait for my scan on Saturday!

shinjuku09 · 04/02/2015 11:12

Hope everyone is feeling as ok as can be! Doctor confirmed I've a chest infection which is why I feel so completely grotty. Mil leaves tomorrow, no idea how I'll copy with DD then. Already feel bad enough about how much TV we watch.!

Sundaysmumisfullofwine · 04/02/2015 12:10

Finally got round to arranging booking in appointment. Quite annoyed as the midwives are no longer based at my gps and are now at the childrens centre which is a pain to get to. Appointment is 24th feb at 1pm so will be about 9 weeks by then

Chuch21 · 04/02/2015 12:17

Hello everyone!
Had some spotting and cramp yesterday, left work early and got an emergency docs appointment. Well... She ruled out a UTI and the said it could be normal, could be early signs of mc, could be ectopic... Wow!

No bleeding today at all though thankfully! Apparently it would need to happen for 7 days before I could be referred for an early scan Shock

So very stressful night but feeling more positive this morn. Heartburn and hunger still in full swing, hopefully little bean is ok!

Jessica32 · 04/02/2015 12:51

Hi Alien, fun we are both due the same day, wonder if the scan will change anything. Wonder when they'll arrive.

Sauvblanc, the 16th will be interesting for us both. Hope we get scan dates soon after.

Whatabout · 04/02/2015 14:06

Got my scan date today. It was when I was going to be away for work but I've managed to bring it forward. 8.30am on 2nd March.

DeladionInch · 04/02/2015 14:13

Whatabout · 04/02/2015 14:18

Yay scan buddy! :)

ag123 · 04/02/2015 14:44

Back from scan. All good Grin What a numpty and what a waste of money but have the secret grin thing now and hoping I can keep it Smile

Treaclepie19 · 04/02/2015 15:01

That's good ag :)
I'm going a bit crazy and tempted to have another scan at 9 weeks so DH can come.
Feels a bit silly though.

NatalieBee · 04/02/2015 15:04

My nose is like a sniffer dog this week..I can smell something garlic in the house I can't find and it's killing me Confused it sincerely is making me feel so sick but DH can't smell it Hmm

Yay for everyone with good scans :)! My 12 week scan feels forever away!! Even tho it's in 2 weeks 2 days lol!

10+2 today :)

ShootTheMoon · 04/02/2015 15:05

That's good new ag Smile

I am having a shocker - constant nausea every moment I'm awake. There's absolutely nothing I want to eat and I feel dizzy and exhausted the moment I finish a meal. I can't eat anything with bread, yeast, onion, pasta etc.

Today I picked up DD from pre-school feeling shocking. I had to leave her in the car while I ran inside to vomit - only there's nothing in my stomach! So it was just painful retching.

DH is away and I can't bear to open the fridge or even be in the kitchen. No idea what I'm going to feed DD later Sad.

Just over 7 weeks. I can't cope with feeling this shit for much longer .
