I will get a time and date through the post but I have a few stints of European travel I have to worj around so might have to try and rearrange. MK aren't always the easiest people to negotiate with

StrawberryCheese · 31/01/2015 12:41

I was given a date for a scan and there were a number of time slots available, I guess everywhere is different though.

whatabout we are hoping to go on a European holiday at some point, I'm going to have to check when is the best time to fly whilst pregnant. DH will be away abroad for 2 weeks when I'm 7 months so I want a holiday before then!

Chuch21 · 31/01/2015 12:42

Glad all the scans are going well at the moment Smile

I'm off to see my best friend in a little while... I've known her since I was 5 and tell her everything! It's going to be so hard not telling her, I'm almost convinced she'll be able to tell just by looking at me! She lives in Cardiff so haven't seen her since my boobs grew 2 cup sizes and my hair turned into a deep fat fryer

sebs that is such a cute photo!

alien11 · 31/01/2015 12:48

Wow sebsmummy what a fantastic scan photo!!

Whatabout · 31/01/2015 13:05

StrawberryCheese this is the boring work variety. Meetings and conferences. And not being woken by a toddler.. Safe to fly till about 36 weeks I think. 20 - 30 weeks is probably most comfortable. A babymoon type thing sounds awesome!

sebsmummy1 · 31/01/2015 13:24

Sorry guys I realised after I posted that photo it had all my personal info at the top!!

Bippidee · 31/01/2015 13:44

There is alcohol free kopparberg?? Ooooh. May have to investigate that rather than have the beer of rage. (Becks blue: too similar to regular becks, gives those expecting regular becks the rage....)

I did find low alcohol cider last time. One bottle would make me 5 pints of lemonade-cider top!

sebsmummy1 · 31/01/2015 13:48

Ok have cropped the image and will repost Smile

Welcome jeff! There's a spreadsheet with all our dates etc linked in the OP feel free to add yourself. Reminds me I still haven't put my details in yet - three weeks later I still haven't fired up the laptop Blush

Treaclepie19 · 31/01/2015 14:59

Gorgeous pic sebs! :)

Mummytogoldie · 31/01/2015 15:19

Seb very clear pic. How far along are you?

ljjeffro · 31/01/2015 15:39

So, Im over nine weeks pregnant with my first and still have no pregnancy symptoms!! Is anyone else experiencing this? I found out I was pregnant 3 weeks ago when I had four positive pregnancy tests. I did a 5th test on Wednesday (just to make sure) which was also positive. Im sure everything's fine but im just a bit worried as its my first pregnancy and I dont really know what to expect.

bitbybitbybit · 31/01/2015 15:43

Mummyboo30 · 31/01/2015 15:54

Afternoon all, glad to hear we are getting some good news scans lately! :) 9+2 today, and feeling fine except I went for a long walk in town and it made me feel so ill! All the shops were boiling hot outside and it was making me feel really queasy. Ended up having to dash to a loo with a poorly bum! Blush
Off out for dinner tonight to celebrate DH's birthday, so hoping tummy has settled down by then. Confused

Mummyboo30 · 31/01/2015 15:54

Oh and great pic Sebs! :)

sebsmummy1 · 31/01/2015 16:23

Thank you! I'm 9w exactly according to LMP but 9w+3 according to scan. She said they won't date me until 12 weeks though but it looks like my due date is going to be 2nd Sept!! Exciting but I am so going to push to be allowed to go to term and not let them induce me at 39 weeks.

I just can't believe he\she was moving around in there punching it's little arms. Blew me away!!

monkeymoonpig · 31/01/2015 16:49

sebsmummy aw im due 2nd Sept, was induced with DS but that was at 40+10. Really hoping this one isnt early, hoping for a Sept baby for the school year Confused plus my dad's bday is Sept 3rd so that would be fab!

sebsmummy1 · 31/01/2015 18:33

I am also thinking of the education side of things. If its important then of course I will say yes to them starting induction early, but if everything has been textbook i'm going to say they can do what they want to me from the 1st September Grin

Whatabout · 31/01/2015 18:48

I feel like the only person who thinks an August baby would be better. My nephew is an end of September baby and is getting frustrated at home. To be honest a baby, of any gender, that turns up at the best time for us both is going to be wonderful.

Chuch21 · 31/01/2015 19:04

Advice needed! My friend (not particularly close but still a friend) has just announced her pregnancy... I'm in two minds! Part of me thinks it would be great to have someone who's been through everything a few weeks before me in hand for advice etc, on the other I would feel bad telling her before my closer friends...

Lauramum23 · 31/01/2015 19:07

I didnt want an august baby because I would hate to send my last child off to school at just 4, my eldest son was born on the 19th of September and had he have been early and born in august I don't think he would have coped at all, but other children do I know and they are fine, he was ready by the time he started school tho, I'm just selfish and want to keep them with me!
When my youngest started school he's in year 1 now everytime I went passed nursery I cried!

alien11 · 31/01/2015 20:18

Re education and birthdays. My dd is end of sept baby and she is already ready to hit school! I am already struggling with ideas to keep her entertained for the next nearly 2 years... We re increasing her pre school hrs from sept so that should be great for her Smile and a new baby bro/sis will keep her entertained I hope haha.

I am a primary teacher but haven't taught since 2011. I didn't really see a difference in abilities with summer born babies . I think the only difference is the first year- reception whereby younger ones find it harder to leave parents, can't sit still as long as their older counterparts but they all catch up in the end Smile
My friends dd has bday 31st aug and started school this year. She is one of the top performers in her class all round so is doing super! And she didn't talk until 3 yrs old.
