Thanks for the tip re non alcoholic koppenberg elsa! Will defo be stocking up on that if all ok after 12 wk scan!

Just looked it up and it was definatly Barvaria rose it was really nice just like beer I'll be getting some of that for summer!

tallia fingers crossed it's nothing. You have reminded me to cheeks guidelines for exercise though. Was naughty and skipped my gym last week but back on it from Monday!

Question for you all- what are you doing re bras? I can't for the life of me remember what I did last time! Sod's law I went and spent all my Xmas vouchers on gorgeous new bras/clothes in my smaller size and now won't be able to wear them for a long time!
Also maternity clothes-where's the best for cheapest? Makes a huge different not working this time!
Trying to think positive! Cheapo tests should arrive this morning for me to keep panic checking I am actually pregnant!

V excited to have had my booking and scan details through. Booking on 19th Feb and scan 12th March when I'll be 12+1. Such a long time to wait but we ve decided against an earlier scan- as someone said unthread- you have one at 7 weeks and then you want one at 9.. Reckons I'd drive myself mad with it all.

Hardly any symptoms though- no sickness at -6+3. Anyone else the same?

whereswaldo I'm the same, no sickness, no obvious symptoms and I'm 6+1. Sometimes I wonder if I imagined the positive tests, good job I took a photo.

My booking isn't until 4th March! Scan is on the 17th, I'm happy to wait until then, not sure an early scan would be helpful either. DH is quite happy to wait. We decided last night that we aren't going to find out the sex at the later scan, keep it a surprise

wherewaldo me! I haven't had any symptoms! Only this morning my boobs have started to hurt but that's it! No sickness at all. With my dd I felt sick but never threw up but no sign of that either this time... Im the same as you and no early scan for me. Glad you have a scan date though I'm yet to get one, I guess this will be sorted once I've had my booking appt at end of feb? Seems to be quite close to when I would need to book one

Does anyone know of any nice tasting non alcoholic wine?

Alien11 I have been on a quest for non alcoholic wine as I'm usually a wine feind, but unfortunately every type i have tried has been rotten! The one that seems to get decent reviews is the torres natura. I bought some in asda and it made me gag! They are all so sickly sweet. I wouldn't even use it in cooking!

What i have found they is lovely is the asda sparkling muscat which is in the posh juices section. Also quite partial to a becks blue or alcohol free koppaberg.

Can you tell that my social life used to involve a lot of alcohol? ha ha..

I keep looking longingly at my wine racks full of beautiful wine that I can't drink

If you find a decent one, please let me know!

So I seem to have had a symptom surge this morning at 5+5. Nausea, headache, backache, cramping, thirst, funny taste in mouth and shooting pain in left boob

That's reassuring- thanks everyone. alien on the wine front the answer is basically no- they all just taste of variations on crap grape juice. Best non alcoholic alcohol tasting stuff is Bavaria beer 0% - so close to the real thing I had to check I hadn't opened one of DH's!

becca I'm with you there. I'm in a misery cycle of hunger, nausea, eating, heartburn, retching, hunger. I honestly just want to sleep through the next few weeks. I don't remember it being like this with DC1 at all. I think I'd rather be sick to be honest - if being sick alleviated symptoms for a few hours anyway!

I just went and bought non under wired bras in m&s "is there a special reason you need these" "yes, I'm pregnant" I thought she was being nosey but she just asked so she could tell me to get ones with room for growth.

Nauseous, whoozy and norks hurt soooo much. 8 weeks today apparently! Booking in tomorrow and then scan date in the post.

That's exactly how I feel shoot. I'm feeling constantly nauseous and just think if I was actually sick, it might get better. I feel terrible moaning too, because I know the outcome will be so worth it. My best friend is 6+2 so she is coming round tonight so we can compare symptoms while the husbands get a break and play computer, lol!

Whatabout I tried that today, but it didn't work! I'm already a GG!!

Ah I have an m &s voucher so that's the plan I think. See what they recommend. Love them being bigger woooo. Dreading after the birth what they ll be haha.

Ah I'll have to try the non alcoholic bubbles ! Mission to try and find a decent tasting non alcoholic wine. I also like a tipple more so in the evenings watching tv and defo at home bbqs. But since dd drinking is not so often as have to be a responsible grown up and all that
Exciting with all these booking appts and scan dates coming through. Am going to see my mum today & haven't told her yet. For some reason I feel I'm tempted fate by telling her...

DH says my breasts don't look any different but they seem to be filling my bra a bit more than usual. All my bras were fitted in bravissimo which means the bands are pretty tight and one day soon I think they might ping open.

strawberry I'm in a lovely Bravissimo vest top at the minute. I think I will need to invest in loads of them for the summer at this rate! Got to wait until half term before I can go in for a fitting though.

Quick question for those of you with scans booked, do you get to choose the date and time? DH is a teacher and so there are only a few 'windows' he can make. Not sure how it works (i'll be John Radcliffe if that helps). Doctors appt on Monday so sure I can find out but, whilst patience may be a virtue, it is most definitely not one of mine!!!

Had my scan, everything fine . Baby moving about punching the air, happy as larry. I estimated I was 9w exactly and she has measured me 9w +3. I cried, I'm so happy

Another massive fan of non alcoholic kopparberg, it tastes exactly the same :) . I am 8 + 3 and keep getting palpatations when lying down, is this normal does anyone know? I have another scan on Wednesday when I will be 9 weeks I am scared stiff, praying the heartbeat is still going strong like it was at 6 weeks x

lastnight i booked scan at Royal Shrewsbury Hospital as needed to work around other half, i chose a date and they gave available times. Seemed quite flexible and helpful. I'll be 12+6 by my dates
