New thread time all!

I'm the least glamorous pregnant lady ever- I've just dropped by to share my excitement at ordering a 'portable bidet' off Amazon. In case anyone else is suffering from the dreaded ' grapes of wrath '

And my feet hurt :(

Hello ladies, glad to see you're all doing well, I've been lurking but not posting much, my edd is 19/6 and this is dc3 and due to be our third dd!
I'm struggling a bit with what feels like millions of appointments and wondered if anyone else was experiencing similar?
I have history of high BP/mild pre eclampsia in previous pregnancies which means lots of extra monitoring and as my bmi was 31 at booking also need GTT this time. BP already went up at 21 wks and so I'm on meds. 20 wk scan showed bubba fine but small so growth scans galore. The one this wk showed she's grown but remains on 5th centile for head and abdomen.
Keeping up with scans, clinic appts etc is almost a full time occupation, hospital is 35mins away and I'm struggling a bit with childcare for other 2 DDs.
Obviously glad to be getting good care but just feeling a bit low with it all! 24 wks on Friday but still so long to go! Not to mention am bit worried about growth....

I have to have a GTT this time because I have PCOS, I should have had one last time but seemed to slip through the net. No other appointments out of the ordinary though all being well. Hope you manage to juggle everything ok!

I know shouldn't grumble really as main thing is I'm being looked after, it's just a bit wearing.
GTT is on my mind particularly as I have to be there so early which means leaving home at 730am which is tricky for childcare (dh could be more helpful but doesn't like asking to work from home!)

This week marked the start of almost an appointment every week for me.... 26 weeks now and had MW this week, ggt next week, first growth scan week after, then back at MW... Etc etc. i just keep thinking that with all these extra milestones now quickly i'll reach edd!

You're right jazzy, and it's ironic given my impatience for the first booking appt and 12 week scan! If only they had the courtesy to arrange everything within school hours and I lived next door to the hospital!!

Wow its super quiet on here now isnt it. Think everyone is posting on FB instead.

Yeah FB is where most people are chatting now. What with baby brain, trying to juggle MN usernames and real names on FB was bending my head somewhat. The hospital bag list jazzy collated is awesome, so non-FB ladies do request a copy.

Kyz I hope the private scan went well today!

Not much to add apart from that I was bemoaning my lack of work skirts that I fit into and trawling eBay. I then remembered one with an elastic waist that I could never work out whether to wear high in my waist or on my hips pre pregnancy but works very nicely with the bump now. Problem solved :)

I don't wish to alarm anyone too much, and before I go on I should say that basically I think I'm ok, but...........

....... I have just washed the kitchen and bathroom floors.

Having a cuppa and a flapjack now while recovering from the shock.

Defo have a cuppa and a flapjack! You and the baby need some serious refuelling!

Haven't been on here for ages I just realised as I use the facebook group daily but hope everyone is well.

Had my 28wk scan today all is fine baby weighs 2lb 130z which is average... They switched the view to 4d for a while and it was amazing baby had arm over head covering it's eye which is exactly how my dd sleeps now and did in all her scans too.. So sweet

Was it an nhs on chook? I have my first one next week. Did u get a piccy? I'm hoping you get offered them on extra scans.
