You can't be to careful getting checked out xx

TheGirlWhoPlayedWithFire · 30/01/2015 08:36

Sorry to hear that mustbe Flowers

Are you going to go to the EPAU?

Will be thinking of you today

shieldbug · 30/01/2015 09:12

mustbemad just to echo what the others have said; thinking of you and do get yourself checked out. good luck.

Have just remembered that I had slight spotting throughout last pg and turns out it was a polyp, so there can be all sorts of reasons why it can happen.

Cineraria · 30/01/2015 09:30

So sorry to hear that MustbeMad. I really hope you'll be ok. Definitely contact the doctor. Hopefully they can check and reassure you.

mustbemad71 · 30/01/2015 10:05

Thanks girls - still bright red blood when I wipe but nothing on a pad in 2 hours. No cramps.

Saw the Dr - the EPAC won't see me until I'm 6 weeks plus here so I have to wait it out. Dr did say bleeding is very common and it could be implantation as embryo buried in deeper - doesn't have to be brown blood. Will wait and see.

Thanks for all your support.

Cineraria · 30/01/2015 10:39

That's good news. Hope it eases off completely soon.

Take care.

Nervous83 · 30/01/2015 12:03

Can I join you ladies please? Got my bfp on a digi on Weds 2-3 weeks so think I'm due either 4th or 6th Oct (depending on last AF or when I Ov'd). It's so confusing!!

I'm 31 and this will be my first. All a bit daunting as this was first month of really trying too so I'm still in shock I think, hence the delay in crossing buses. Shock

and Hi to all, apologies in advance for potential questions to all those experienced Mums.

Reading back through the posts Mustbemad71 thinking of you.

I'm experiencing the same bloating, heart flutters and weird small appetite. I couldn't eat half my dinner last night which is really not like me at all! I am trying to eat little and often though as I've been feeling really dizzy.

Sorry for the introductory essay xx

AngusAndElspethsThistleWhistle · 30/01/2015 12:29

mustbemad thinking of you...take it easy Thanks

Welcome Nervous!

Marmite27 · 30/01/2015 12:35

I ginally caved to the Jan bus peer pressure, did another test this morning too to make sure!

I feel very bloated today...

MrsEvansAlmost · 30/01/2015 13:24

any suggestions other than ginger related things that help with nausea. minds gone blank and google.isn't coming up with anything helpful!!

Glossyflower · 30/01/2015 13:26

Thinking of you Must, fingers crossed all ok.

I'm super tired the past couple of days but worried that I don't feel that pregnant yet so I might try another test. That said I'm constipated, knackered and bloated so what more do I want?!

Glossyflower · 30/01/2015 13:28

MrsEvans, turn your hand over Palm up. Follow the line down your wrist from your thumb and just off centre press at that pressure point. I had acupuncture with first pregnancy for hyperemesis - it worked for a couple of hours!

Linguaphile · 30/01/2015 13:45

MrsEvans I was really sick with my girls last time, throwing up 3-4 times per day until 22 weeks! The thing that really helped me was putting a tablespoon or two of lemon juice into a glass of cold water and drinking it. Not sure why it helped, but the tart citrus really helped to ease the nausea for me. Have been making it for myself againt as my nausea is starting up as well. :(

Linguaphile · 30/01/2015 13:46

So sorry mustbemad, hope it all turns out okay. Flowers

Allstoppedup · 30/01/2015 14:14

Flowers sending positive thoughts your way mustbemad

YY to the lemon water recommendation! I actually carried a sliced lemon with me everywhere for the first 16 weeks as smells just set me off, even when I was on my antiemetics! I could smell my hair...bleurgh. Washing it didn't help as as soon as it was wet (even after shampooing)it smelt so strongly I would throw up!

Nothing like that yet...which is both a blessing and a curse as its making me very nervous!

MrsEvansAlmost · 30/01/2015 14:45

thank you linguaphile I couldn't wait to cut up the lemon so.ended up sucking it, that helped to take my mind off it too! I've now cleared the coop of lemons!!

Nervous83 · 30/01/2015 15:02

Sorry if this sounds like a silly question -- when do I call my Doc?

MrsEvansAlmost · 30/01/2015 15:10

I'd call them as soon as you can to get booked in with a midwife and get your bounty pack nervous

Frenchfancies · 30/01/2015 15:31

Hello to all the new BFPS!!

Hope you're ok mustbemad xxx

cineraria good news about your scan..That's great service! And how exciting you got to see your teeny baby!

By the way Who sends you a bounty pack? Do you have to request it of does it get sent out by the midwife or GP?

artyone · 30/01/2015 15:54

Good afternoon.
Tentatively asking if I can join in.
I got a bfp this morning. It was very faint though and I still don't quite believe it. Ok only 10dpo.
I'm going to pee on more tests tomorrow.
I think id be due on 13th October

Nervous83 · 30/01/2015 15:54

Thank you MrsE I just called my GP to be told that I am no longer eligible to be in their surgery as I've moved.....all the way to the end of my street!!! This makes no sense :-(
So I've now got to register at a new GP so won't be until Monday. Hmm

alexmash12 · 30/01/2015 16:20

Mustbemad - how are you doing? Hope everything is ok.

Welcome all newcomers, we have quite the gang now.

I told my parents last night, they were over the moon. I'm the first in the family to sprog so they are counting down the days. As am I! Is anyone else getting seriously impatient?

Redundancy update for those who asked - I find out if I make the cut in the next two weeks. I've decided not to tell anyone at work because I work in media and I will be the first out the door if they know I'm pregnant and face paying me the EVER so generous 6 weeks maternity!

Hope everyone's ok.

MrsEvansAlmost · 30/01/2015 16:27

you get your bounty pack from the gp when then confirm you are pregnant!/they also get you to make a booking app with the midwife so you can get some antenatal care started! Grin Grin

welcome all new BFP'ers!!! how exciting for us all :)

Frenchfancies · 30/01/2015 17:04

Ah ha! thanks mrsevans

alex next 2 weeks will be hard for you then Sad just need to keep positive and try not to worry too much.

I had my MIL round earlier (we haven't told anyone yet) and I had visions of me just shouting wildly 'I'm pregnant' in some uncontrollable manner! It's all I have on my brain!

MrsEvansAlmost · 30/01/2015 17:10

I told my parents earlier my ad got really excited my mum was like so you need to move house then in a really dull tone!!

never mind I've always been a daddy's girl!! Grin Grin
