Just when I want to make the most of being able to stay in bed as long as I like on Saturday, my body decides that there is no way I'm getting back to sleep after waking up to use the loo at 5am!

Good news about your scan Lingua. Hope you and Angus both have an easier time with sickness this this pregnancy.

I bought a pair of digital tests yesterday evening but they were all mixed up on the shelf and we accidentally picked up the one that doesn't tell you how long, so I didn't use it today. I might try to take it back and exchange it for the one I wanted ready for tomorrow.

FriedFishAndBread · 24/01/2015 08:24

Hi can I please join in?

Was a few days late so poas this morning and im pregnent again Grin. I completely forgot about pills and antibiotics and have had three lots this month with tonsillitis.

I already have 2 dc 7 and 9, have my driving test booked in two months for the third time, have loads going on that I probably won't be able to do if I end up with morning sickness that happened every time I move like the last times but I'm really happy anyway.

My dm will not be happy she hates my dbf and we don't live together and I have no plans of moving him in either. (He's my other dc df to) But I'm such an over sharer I won't be able to help telling her and my dnan.

Cineraria · 24/01/2015 08:50

Congratulations Fried! Great to have you joining us. I'm hope your mum will come round to the idea before too long even if she has a few worries at first.

We have a stats sheet you can add yourself too if you like.

Have people seen this animated infographic on the development of the baby? I saw a link to it on Twitter and really like it.

AnnaBegins · 24/01/2015 08:56

Hi Everyone! Just got my bfp at 16dpo which puts me due 2nd October like Boyle.

I am so rubbish at keeping up with these threads but nice to recognise a few from the Jan bus.

Just got to try to get DH to keep his mouth shut for the next 3 months, currently he wants to tell the world!

FriedFishAndBread · 24/01/2015 09:31

Thanks cineraria! I feel over the moon and will add to sheet now thanks.

bluey11 · 24/01/2015 11:34

Hi everyone can I join? Got my bfp on Thursday evening Smile I'd been lurking on the jan ttc bus but was too nervous to join in, am in complete shock! Due date is 01 Oct. Congrats to everybody else!

Does anybody else keep forgetting and then suddenly remembering? I was shopping this morning, squinting at my scrawly shopping list and before I knew it I was grinning like a loon and drifting aimlessly down the condiment aisle.

Cineraria · 24/01/2015 12:04

Hi Anna and Bluey. Congratulations and good luck!

You're the same date as me, Bluey. Glad have someone else on the same date.

I added your names onto a stats sheet for the thread and you can edit it to add any other details you'd like to share.

FriedFishAndBread · 24/01/2015 12:10

I'm the 1st to Grin

AngusAndElspethsThistleWhistle · 24/01/2015 13:05

Yey, more BFPs! Congrats all!

Hope your mum comes round, Fried. She must realise he's going to be around, esp with your other DC. Must make life difficult.

Mumwannabe82 · 24/01/2015 16:41

welcome ladies, so....... is anyone getting cramps???? not sure if I should be worried about it or not Blush

Boyle1884 · 24/01/2015 17:02

Yay anna be good to be in this together :)!!

Hi everyone-told dh parents this morning!! Eek very real and saw doc yesterday for blood pressure checks. So glad our group is getting bigger...

I get niggles rather than cramps but told this is normal.

OP posts:
AngusAndElspethsThistleWhistle · 24/01/2015 17:02

Yes. All day today and yesterday. I think it's pretty normal unless accompanied by bright red bleeding. I think even brown spotting can be normal.

Unless I see any blood, I'm assuming it's just everything settling and stretching. Must be a lot happening down there. Still have my fingers crossed though!

Mumwannabe82 · 24/01/2015 17:20

yeah me too, we have only just told our family today, my mum screamed down the phone Grin Grin Grin

Linguaphile · 24/01/2015 18:57

Welcome, new BFPs!

I get cramps, Mum! :) In my first pregnancy, the pain was enough that it would even shoot down my leg. As has been said above, unless accompanied by bleeding it's usually nothing to cause alarm. However, if you're worried you can always tell your GP when you go in for your first appt! They may want to do a n early scan and make sure it's not an ectopic pregnancy or something. They did that for me last time.

Mumwannabe82 · 24/01/2015 19:28

Thanks ladies feel alot better now Smile Smile Smile

FriedFishAndBread · 24/01/2015 23:21

Even if you get slight bleeding it's nothing to worry about 82 it's just implantation cramps and bleeds. Means it's dug deep Grin

Angus my dm will be fine after a while, might tell her in a public place to stop her crying LOL. She's a Mrs bucket and wants me married Wink

AngusAndElspethsThistleWhistle · 24/01/2015 23:24

Ha ha - sounds like you know exactly how to handle her Wink

shieldbug · 25/01/2015 07:51

Hi Ladies, got my bfp this morning; being a complete cheapskate , waited until 10 days late so it changed to a positive as soon as the wee hit the stick! I actually have due date of the 23rd Sept but my previous 2 were late (12 days and 7 days) so I'm expecting a late Sept/ early Oct baby. Hope you don't mind me joining you as the September thread are already all settled in, I expect!
Congrats to all and fx for success all round.

Mumwannabe82 · 25/01/2015 10:49

hi shieldbug, welcome to you and you're definite sticky bean Smile Smile Smile

Frenchfancies · 25/01/2015 11:18

Hello ladies, may I join?

Not sure if I'm very late September or early October as can't remember dates exactly! Smile But I'm approx 5 wks, 33, first ever pregnancy, thrilled and petrified all at the same time.

Just starting to sink in a bit now but daren't tell anyone, apart from DH of course, just in case something happens...

I got the BFP three days ago and feels like 3 years ago!

Cineraria · 25/01/2015 12:10

Congratulations French and Shield. It's nice to have some people who are due earlier than me. Good luck to you both!

I got my digital test and got 2-3 weeks which is what I'd expected so please to see that things are moving along. I got two in the hope of getting 3+ next Saturday and after that I suppose I'll just have to rely on worsening symptoms until the scan to see how things are progressing. I'm sure they would make a lot of money if they made tests you could do after that but it would probably result in a lot of worried women visiting the doctor because they didn't get the result they were expecting.

AnnaBegins · 25/01/2015 13:26

I'm getting cramps too, glad to know I'm not the only one!

FriedFishAndBread · 25/01/2015 13:59

I've come on this morning, it's probably for the best but I was so excited. Have a drs appointment tues just in case it was ectopic as you don't normally get false positives.

Wishing you all the best ladies

AngusAndElspethsThistleWhistle · 25/01/2015 14:11

Oh Fried Sad

Is there any chance it's just a wee bleed? Thinking of youThanks

Cineraria · 25/01/2015 14:12

Oh no, Fried, so sorry to hear that. I do hope your doctor able to reassure you when you go there on Tuesday.

Take care.
