Hi ladies. I haven't read back yet jut quickly posting this

I have had a little brown cm and now stressing. Never had this in previous pregnancies and I'm worried. I know brown is normal but just hoping it doesn't go to more.

I caved and did the digital at lunchtime and still 1-2 weeks at 4+4. Now I'm thinking this should have moved up to 2-3 by now.

Sorry to stress ha have no one else to off load to. I hope u r all feeling ok Smile

Glossyflower · 27/01/2015 16:09

Try not to worry too much Lucky, keep an eye on it and see your GP for reassurance xxx as for the test, the levels aren't always accurate xxx

AngusAndElspethsThistleWhistle · 27/01/2015 16:12

Hey lucky don't panic yet. These things can take time to settle. Don't pay too much attention to the digi test as the indicator is just a guide.

Take things easy and try not to stress (so much easier said than done). Fingers crossed for you, but, like you said, brown blood isn't always bad.

AngusAndElspethsThistleWhistle · 27/01/2015 16:13

Congrats and welcome allstopped and glossy!

Glossyflower · 27/01/2015 16:13

You can get spotting around the time when your first missed period is due xxx

Glossyflower · 27/01/2015 16:14

Thanks Angus and congrats to all too xxx

Allstoppedup · 27/01/2015 16:28

Glossy, the first I knew of DS was horrible vomiting (I was approx 5/6 weeks) then was in hospital by 8 weeks so I sound similar to you!

I'm also taking vit B and am planning to go to the Dr at the first signs rather than trying to stick it out, believing it was 'normal' morning sickness and I was being a wimp!

Mumwannabe82 · 27/01/2015 17:14

hi Lucky, if you are still getting some tomorrow I would make an appointment with the Dr anyway xx only because of the digi result too, if it was one or the other I wouldn't be bothered but for your peace of mind it's always worth having it checked out xx

Cineraria · 27/01/2015 17:38

Lucky, if it is Clearblue you used, the low reading may be due to using midday urine. The week indicator is only effective with first urine of the day, if I remember rightly from the instructions.

Hope you are ok. Take care.

mustbemad71 · 27/01/2015 18:28

Hi Lucky I just want to echo the other posters. HCG can fluctuate as it rises and using FMU is recommended plus I think whilst the pregnant/not pregnant reading is 99% the week's indicator is only 93% accurate and a guide. Brown blood is old blood and this could well be old implantation bleeding. Try not to worry although I know it's hard xx

Poppytime · 27/01/2015 19:12

Lucky I did a clear blue digi mid afternoon at 4+4 and got 1-2 weeks too, next day I got 2-3 so don't worry! Even the woman at the pharmacy told me to do it first thing in the morning, of course I ignored her and got 1-2 weeks and panicked a bit!

SarahSt28 · 27/01/2015 20:19

Hi all,

My AF was due today. I tested this morning and got a very faint line. I did a digi test at lunch and it says pregnant, 1-2 weeks! We haven't been trying very long at all so still in shock I think. I used one of those due date calculators and it said I would be due 7th October.

I haven't had many symptoms, a bit of stomach cramping and have been feeling a little bit nauseous but not sure if that's nerves/excitement!

X x

mustbemad71 · 27/01/2015 20:27

Congrats Sarah! Grin

Frenchfancies · 27/01/2015 20:39

Hi glossyflower and Sarah - congrats to you both! Grin

I've had stomach cramps today, feels so weird, like I'm about to come on so keep having to nip to the loo to check Hmm

Lucky hope you're ok and not feeling too stressed...what the other girls have said makes sense and I hope is a bit reassuring xxx

AngusAndElspethsThistleWhistle · 27/01/2015 21:25

Hi Sarah Smile

Linguaphile · 28/01/2015 08:24

How is everything today, Lucky? Did you try another digi?

Poppytime · 28/01/2015 08:32

Congrats Sarah!

Im 5 weeks today and off to doctor to do self referral form. Still doesn't feel real at all and still anxious not to get too excited. Oh I forgot to add about me - I'm pregnant with no.2, due 30 sept but thought more appropriate to join oct 2015 as likely will run into then!!

Frenchfancies · 28/01/2015 08:42

Hi poppy I'm due 30th sept also Grin

Poppytime · 28/01/2015 08:49

Ah hey french - yay! Have you been to docs yet? Just been and filled in form and lady will fax it off for me - will see if it gets there, surprised they haven't moved to scanning and emailing, don't 100% trust faxes after many bad experiences at work!

Glossyflower · 28/01/2015 09:21

About the drs to start antenatal care. When should you make the appointment for? My last pregnancy I went as soon as I found out so very early on yet midwife didn't see me til week 9 when I was hospitalised for HG. Xxx

Poppytime · 28/01/2015 09:26

Hey glossy, I went about 5 weeks to the doc last time and they referred me to midwife. My booking in appointment was about 8/9 weeks and scan at 12. Docs didn't do much apart from ask a few questions and refer so this time have just gone straight to self referral to hospital midwives. Maybe see if you can do that this time, unless you want to speak to doc about anything specific? I know my surgery had posters saying you can make an appointment as soon as you find out your pregnant so nothing stopping you from doing it now Smile

Mumwannabe82 · 28/01/2015 11:01

hope Lucky is ok Confused Confused Confused I worry about everything too xx

goldielocks84 · 28/01/2015 11:22

Hi all, Can I join...? I've never been in a pregnancy forum before. Feels terribly pre-emptive but I'm so desperate to talk to people in the same boat! I'm 4+3 (I think- still getting used to all the jargon). Due Oct 5th ish. I got pregnant this time last year but sadly it was ectopic so I'm crossing everything that this one works out... Having had the ectopic it means I get to have an early scan on 16th Feb when I'll be 7 weeks. Feels like a life time away! I'm not really feeling anything either... up until yesterday I had gentle stomach twinges and cramps but today I feel totally normal! Anyone else like that??

mustbemad71 · 28/01/2015 11:37

Hi Goldie congratulations! I'm full of anxiety too so join the gang! I'm due on the 6th. Sorry to hear about your ectopic, that must have been traumatic.

I'm on permanent knicker watch and resisting urge to POAS everyday to confirm darker lines. My twinges have stopped too but I'm hugely bloated and can barely get my fat jeans done up! Confused

Mumwannabe82 · 28/01/2015 11:55

I'm massively bloated too Shock didn't think I would have that problem just yet xx
hi goldie I'm 4+4 and due 5th Oct too Grin Grin Grin (although actually think it's the 3rd oct) xxxx welcome xxxx
cramps have calmed quite a bit for me too so looks like it's normal woo hoo
