So I got my bfp yesterday at 10dpo and got stronger line today at 11dpo... Puts my due date 2nd October!! Anyone else? I feel ssspoooo nervous and anxious today. 26 #1

I was considering going to The Birth Company on Harley St, has anyone got any experience of them? I think it's £100 for a viability scan.

i could probably pressure him into amber for a first name over the 8 months lol after an argument about binky he said he would consider that as a second name. i also really like lola and esme. sure it will all change over the next few months. i need to look at boys names too obviously Grin

Rory! I love it dp was going to be called Rory so he loves it its girls names I'm struggling with only seem to be picturing bean as a boy!

Alien you must so be relieved, nothing as exciting as hearing the heartbeat and seems my the little flicker, congratulations! We haven't thought about names yet, though we have a long list from the one that was unsuccessful.

It's good to hear a few of you ladies are sticking around.

I haven't heard about birth company Hetty, FMC is also on Harley street and they also deal with high risk pregnancies. I went to them last year after conflicting nuchal/12 week scan result, high risk from London a Ultrasound Centre and low risk from NHS. It turned out baby had a serious heart defect so we terminated at 14 weeks after a very long and painful thought process. We wouldn't have known until 20 weeks if it weren't for their detailed cardiac scan coz everything else was perfect apart from increased nuchal translucency.

I'm so sorry to hear that cool, that must have been an incredibly difficult decision to make.

I'll have a look at FMC - their website doesn't say much but I'll dig a bit deeper, the birth company have a few questionable reviews if you google which is making me a bit wary.

hetty not sure where you are based but there is a place in Kent which is supposed to be good and 40 mins ish from Victoria station. It's called Kent imaging centre I think.its where I'm going to go if I feel I want another scan before 12 weeks. It's weird as didn't want any scans with dd mauve it's because I want her to have a sibling so much?! I had extra ones post 12 wks though as we took part in a trial

Sorry to hear that Cool very tough decision but without that extra in depth scan as you said it would have been further along until you knew. At any point it's a very difficult decision to make.

Sarkymare I'm 21 and 4+5 with #2 I have a 14month old DS. I live in Bristol and will be giving birth at southmead.

Thanks ladies! Hetty I suppose there isn't much on their website as they are less commercial because they are a research foundation. The only negative review is waiting times if you go on a Wednesday to see the professor, that's long wait but worth it cos you get s lot of time for counselling and answering questions.

I always thought pregnancy was a straightforward happy journey, but it turned out to be a panic inducing and rather long for me. Fingers crossed all of our pregnancies have a happy ending and we can all be on this thread in October showing off our adorable babies:-)

Hi all, I'm joining you on the October bus. I'm only about 3-4 weeks gone (1-2 according to clearblue) and all going well this will be DC3. I already have DS 3 and DS 1. People are going to think we're nuts but who cares Grin

No symptoms but I do have a horrible chesty cough. Bleurgh!

I'll try to add you today, Sarky and anyone else. I meant to add people last night but fell asleep on DH's shoulder straight after I'd posted that I was going to and didn't wake up until bedtime. Can't believe I'm still yawning this morning! Anyone can add people's details, though. It's just not so easy on a phone or tablet unless you have the Drive App.

I'm still here Coolchic. I'm not a Facebook user, myself.

Got my bfp on Monday.......pregnancy calculator says I am 6 weeks pregnant but was getting a negative result before Monday so am not sure! If right, I'm due 7th October.

I had a miscarriage at 10 wks last August and my body has been doing weird and wonderful things ever since!!

Am really scarred it's going to happen again....can't see past 10 weeks at the moment! I'm not really feeling any symptoms this time....last time had horrible sickness, but this time just tired....and big boobs!!!

This is our first so all a little scary!!
