Hello everyone, hope you are all feeling ok. I feel normal with a hint of crazy lady thrown in. I want to kill my husband a lot if the time.

Does anyone run? I'm doing a 10k in march (signed up early jan- bad idea) and I have found that I keep getting stitches since my BFP. Does anyone know anything about this?

gaggiagirl · 03/02/2015 21:50

Wowzers you lot are chatty. I can hardly keep up!
Waves to Rhiannon.

catlady87 · 03/02/2015 22:05

Hi furryhat, I run too but haven't had a stitch yet. It's been very snowy here in the highlands so haven't done much since my BFP at the weekend. Have been told by my GP it's absolutely fine to carry on though. Good luck with the 10k! Smile

Cineraria · 03/02/2015 22:05

Wow, lots of new BFPs today. Congratulations to all of you. Sorry to hear that some of you have experienced such sad events in your lives recently and hoping that your pregnancies bring you more joy than worry.

I'll have a look through to see if I can spot all the newcomers and add them to the Stats Sheet but do add yourselves if I miss you or add/change any details I miss or get wrong.

I manged to keep today's nausea at bay all the way up to dinner time and even while I made lunch to take to work tomorrow but as soon as I felt the food in my mouth that was it; I couldn't even make it to the bathroom, so poor DH was treated to enough disgusting noises from the kitchen to make sure that neither of us enjoyed the meal. The funny thing was that we both felt quite reassured as if it hadn't been quite real until then!

EssexWelsh · 03/02/2015 22:33

Can I join? I have a DS1 who's 22 months. My EDD is 4th Oct so 5w+3. First month of trying so totally seems unreal as only DTD a couple of weeks ago! we got married in December so were on honeymoon in vegas so cliché honeymoon baby, although it was more likely the weekend before, but why ruin a good story Smile

Incredibly nervous as had a mc before DS1 at 8 weeks, but also bled heavily from 5wks (tmi heavy red and clots) until 17 wks with DS1 and obviously all was well and also had severe morning sickness, this time - nothing! My lack of having no symptoms is making me really anxious, would feel better if felt worse!

Glossy I saw we have similar gap and you had severe morning sickness last time but fine this time, is that still the case?

Tempted to pay for early scan just for some inner peace!

Off to catch up with you chatty ones as my phone has skipped 31st Jan to 3rd Feb so need to read on PC.

beanie after I wrote that comment, I realised Grin Blush . My brain is mush!

We've been here for two years and I've loved every second! Looking forward to being back.amongst friends and family but will really miss the city.

We lived in SW London for a few years, which was great too.

We're moving back to Edinburgh so quite a change!

Summer29 · 04/02/2015 05:15

Angus - Edinburgh is my favourite city in the whole world! I went there for my 30th birthday and fell in love with it... What an amazing place to live!

katew66 · 04/02/2015 07:42

wow ladies yes chatty is the word! Its hard to keep up as im not on here much but thanks for the advice already- so if my last period was 18th Dec? Would that be 7 weeks?? I know how long my cycle was (36 days)so I think my due date is right-2nd Oct?
Really sorry for those of you that have had bad things happen- the nice thing about these boards is you can talk openly and say what you like!
Congrats to those who have joined-im sure I will be on here more over the coming months!!

catlady87 · 04/02/2015 08:27

Hi everyone, I am having trouble accessing the stats sheet so will just put them here!

Catlady87, 28, Scottish Highlands. EDD 10th October. First pregnancy. Booking appt 3rd March 2015. I think I'm 4+3. So I'm hardly pregnant at all really.

I feel terrified and excited at the same time. Hardly any symptoms apart from tender boobs and about 200 positive tests.

I wish this felt more real! Trying to enjoy it, but its hard. x

Linguaphile · 04/02/2015 08:54

Welcome new BFPs! How fun that our bus is getting full. :)

Beanie I've just seen you're at West Mid? We must live quite close! I'm at Kingston.

Girl, I'm also glad to see a few other crazies having a third!

BitchBags · 04/02/2015 09:20

Morning everyone and congrats to all the new comers :)
I'm am feeling sooo exhausted this morning. Ds has decided he wants to feed constantly so I have had a 7 mo attached to my boobs all morning and I have started to feel a bit sick :(
all went well at the doctors yesterday. I just wish she could have given me some more energy Grin

alexmash12 · 04/02/2015 09:37

Morning all,

And hello all Newcomers!

I am in PAIN today - feels like period cramping. What I would do for a hot water bottle and a fist full of Ibuprofen right now.

I think I got my first wave of morning sickness today. As I crawled into the office at 2.30 this morning I thought I was going to wretch in the face of the office security guard. Thankfully the feeling faded pretty quick.

I've taken to grazing on fruit, nuts and Beef jerky all day everyday! Are all theses things normal?

Hope everyone is feeling ok today,

x

Glossyflower · 04/02/2015 10:27

Welcome to all new members :-)

Hi Essex. I had severe hyperemesis with DD from before I even missed my period I felt ill. This time just slight nausea occasionally but nothing compared to last time. DD is 21 months so we are really similar Smile

Today is a bad day though I have come down with sinusitis and my head, nose, face and ears are banging. DH has just gone to Boots to see if there's anything I can take.

Xxx

dojo123 · 04/02/2015 11:46

AngusAndElspethsThistleWhistle · 04/02/2015 13:28

summer it is a lovely place and it's very easy to live there too. We've been away for nearly 7 years so looking forward to rediscovering it again.

The nausea has really kicked in last night/this morning. Trying to see it as a positive! Wishing the time away til my scan on 13th!

catlady87 · 04/02/2015 14:13

Oh dojo. Take care. Xxx

MrsEvansAlmost · 04/02/2015 14:14

artyone · 04/02/2015 14:21

Hi rhiannon looks like we're due date buddies! Welcome.

I can't keep up with this thread.
I'm exhausted today, I had so much more energy yesterday. I'm now 4+1

Glossyflower · 04/02/2015 14:46

Had a call from my midwife. I will be booked in on 23rd feb, at 7+4.
(Just answering my own question as to when booking in is normally done!)
Xxx

HerewardTheTired · 04/02/2015 15:02

Gosh, I wasn't booked in last time until 12+6. I've moved area, wonder if it's earlier here. Going to the gp next week, wanted to get past 5 weeks before I saw anyone.

DS has been asleep for over 2 hours. Unbelievable. Might have to go and wake him...

gaggiagirl · 04/02/2015 15:19

The midwife wont entertain us in these parts til you are 12 weeks. I'll fill in a form at the surgery in march and get my appt after that.
I was pondering a private scan at 8 weeks but if I mc again I would imagine it would be so much more emotionally painful if i had already seen the bean. So I'm not going to.
