So I got my bfp yesterday at 10dpo and got stronger line today at 11dpo... Puts my due date 2nd October!! Anyone else? I feel ssspoooo nervous and anxious today. 26 #1

I think, like some of the other posters have said, my parents and inlaws will disapprove of the age gap but fingers crossed they keep it to themselves and are just happy for us!

I went to the gp today and he has referred me to the haematologist as I had a dvt in my last pregnancy (very very scary), I think I'm going to have 9 months of blood thinning injections this time round to prevent it happening again Hmm

I still don't have any symptoms yet and am dreading the morning sickness starting! Hope everyone else is feeling ok

Congratulations Beanie! There are at least three of us in our forties on this thread so far (since I upgraded a decade on Saturday) so you're in good company. It's also my first.

I know some people are feeling very stressed/emotional with the pregnancy hormones but I seem to have the opposite and don't get worked up about anything at the moment, even things that I normally find quite alarming. The only time I do feel strong emotions is when I'm dreaming. I'm having really strange busy dreams where I have to do too much or have to deal with something very complicated or scary.

I feel the same, after the I initial panic I feel oddly calm! I do worry that the bean won't stick though :/ 6 weeks tomorrow so I'm half way to having a confirmed sticky bean!!

Just been to the dentist (I know, such an exciting life) hadn't realised all dental work during pregnancy is free?!??

Apart from shiny teeth I am struggling today because I feel rubbish. I've caught the office cold and whilst everyone else is downing Lemsip and other cold remedies I'm stuck with lemon and honey. Unless anyone has any other preggers friendly cures?

Morning.

It looks like I'll be leaving this bus earlier than I had hoped.
I am sorry to say that I had some spotting this morning so it looks like I have experienced a CP. Really disappointed but it is only our first cycle and we thought it could take longer.
Will still be going to see the doc tomorrow to go through things.
Feeling rather deflated.

Had my scan this morning and.... drum roll... it's just one single, beautiful little baby in there!! Hooray! It's still too early for a heartbeat, but they saw a nice sac and yolk sac measuring well and she said to come back in two weeks to make sure all is progressing.

Feeling the morning sickness today. Really hoping that having just one any in there will make a difference, though. Sucking down the lemon water.

Hope everyone is keeping well with various pregnancy complaints!

tender boobs, nausea and exhausted! I can't get the energy to get out the car and I've been sat on the drive for 20/minutesGrin Grin

a week until booking in app. I really hope they offer me an early scan rather than having to fork out for one!

What weeks do you have your booking in appointment? I'm led to believe mine will be about 8 weeks. I hope it's not that long. My last I was 9 weeks and that was only because I was admitted to the maternity unit xxx

Hello all! Didn't know this thread was here. I just got my first BFP on Saturday, did 2 tests, both strong positives. Did a CB digi on sun and it dated me at 1-2 weeks. Don't get my booking appointment with midwife for another 4 weeks. I don't know what to do now... I don't look or feel pregnant and keep wanting to POAS to check I haven't imagined it! It's so weird. Am I going mad? X

iI'm sat at the doctors waiting for my appointment. Feel like a bit of a fraud booking in so early but iv been getting really dizzy and also worried about the pre eclampsia from last time

Hello to everyone else.
I am feeling really quite well....no nausea/sickness/tiredness and very good appetite. Hoping it stays that way. Only the five BFP's and sore BB's make me feel in anyway pregnant. 6 weeks tomorrow....could all change I guess.
