20th JSing GRADS thread - our chat's still filthy, just not in front of the baby...

Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 20th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 37th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates! It's a bit quiet at the moment, but with all these upduffed viroids hopefully it won't be for long!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

So, roll call below please, viroids!

Thanks la I am with you on needing a break - this time of year really drags, it's such a long time until Easter Sad

Can you have a holiday at home? We did over Christmas and had a great, relaxing time.

We are having a new bathroom instead of a holiday- Yey!!! not

I think I am mostly miffed because my step brother lives with my mum and step dad - so, at the moment, it is looking like my step brother's girlfriend will be moving in too. My mum will obviously be focused on their baby (apparently they plan to get a council flat- do not even get me started on this, the baby was planned and the cynic in me says for this exact reason).

I too have cried on DH - is it a full moon?

Pisghetti · 27/01/2015 21:11

Snore-gate is rumbling on. DP has buggered off home as he doesn't want to risk any disturbance tonight. How he's going to cope with a newborn I have no idea and if he thinks he can just bugger off when he wants to he's got another thing coming Angry in his defence he does have an interview tomorrow but really! Last night was the first time he's ever complained about me snoring and he didn't even try rolling me onto my side (I'd rolled onto my back)

Dulcet it's basically a leg injury which hurts like a bugger when you aggravate it but you can still appear to walk normally.

Hope your wee gets better La!

Hmm lots of buggers there....

teejayem · 27/01/2015 21:12

we can all sob together! :(

I've got fucking hair growing out of my fucking face. Bristly Hair. I'll be tweezering that for the end of my natural life then, along with my gorilla stomach. :(

Purplecircle · 27/01/2015 21:14

Fleur I'd be narked too!

My job involves knowledge of HR and payroll procedures and I have to keep up to date with the legislation.

Most companies will pay KIT days at your normal daily rate but it's not forced to be that. It depends on how much they want you....you could negotiate more Smile

TheBooMonster · 27/01/2015 22:43

Hmm... should probably get a categorical answer from store manager next week about what KIT days will be paid at before I agree to do any, can only assume very little as I'm the first person in the history of the company to want to do them...

Is there a employee number for the SMP helpline? I had it in my head there was and I could call in and rat my work out for not processing my MATB1 form until I go on maternity leave and have them fined, but I've searched for it on the internet and now can't find it, I had all the details for it on the old computer but the old computer broke :/

Pisghetti · 27/01/2015 23:15

Try speaking with ACAS Boo info here

ZylaB · 28/01/2015 06:22

Let me know what happens boo I've still not had written confirmation about my mat leave!

DulcetMoans · 28/01/2015 07:32

Oh no tee! Are you talking odd hair on the chin or on the way to full on beard? I'm a hairy lady, I feel the pain and expect it will come my way. Tummy already a bit furry.

Wishing DP luck for the interview pis but he better stick it out tonight! Like you say, he can't just up and leave when the baby is keeping him awake!

We are thinking of a holiday at home fleur, doing the tourist things around the area we never get to do and eating out. What did you get up to, or were you hibernating?

How do you get that maternity exemption card? I want to go to the dentist!

teejayem · 28/01/2015 07:58

Stomach has always been a bit downydulce, but since being pg I've sprouted thick dark hairs below belly button which I epilate furiously. Chin and jaw hairs are sporadic but thick and stubbly, and I'm more paranoid of forgetting about them!

Fleurchamp · 28/01/2015 08:01

We hibernated dulcet with lots of books and films Grin. We also treated ourselves to meals out, including breakfast which is unheard of in this house and left doing the chores as much as possible.
Doing touristy things near home is a good idea, we have lots nearby which we have never done.

I got a form from my midwife, I filled it in and left it at the surgery and have heard bugger all since although I have private dentist through DH's work policy and so I am sticking with that.

ChatEnOeuf · 28/01/2015 08:05

Tee I feel your pain. I'm the same with a soft covering over my belly (nothing on the face yet, but there's plenty of time!).

Had a pathetic pregnancy cry too yesterday - must have been something in the air. We're having a series of sofa days - DD has chicken pox. She's suspiciously cheerful this morning despite the spots....

lildottie · 28/01/2015 08:40

oh dear ladies! hopefully the flood gates have closed and there will be no reason for tears today!

pis agreed, he can't do one every time things get hard!

you lot make pg seem so glamorous. thinking myself lucky that despite being dark haired im not very hairy, so hopefully I'll avoid the beard!

willywallace · 28/01/2015 08:51

Holiday sounds lovely right about now. MiniWil decided to join in the night time antics last night. MrWil looks as if he's at breaking point - he isn't good without his sleep. I need to figure out how to move the sleeping to earlier in the night.

Hope the pox don't hang around too long Chat. We haven't had that delight yet. No doubt will happen once she starts nursery.

I found I was less hairy during pg. Weird how it's different.

willywallace · 28/01/2015 08:53

I've done it again and missed my Lil bit off the post. Eleven sounds amazing. What's the next step?

teejayem · 28/01/2015 09:24

I'm hoping it subsides. The noise of the epilator makes tiny tee wriggle uncomfortably. I'm hoping I don't develop full on beard. And then have a newborn to deal with so subsequently forget to manage it.

DulcetMoans · 28/01/2015 09:46

Im with you on the downy belly tee but noticed a few thick stragglers. Hopefully not on the face though!

That sounds great fleur, I think that's what he wants really - to watch all the films mostly!! Maybe look to do it end of March. He will want me off the phone though, that's no good. Will have to sneak into the loo to catch up here!

Any call yet lil?!

Whys everyone crying? I feel sad today, bad thoughts, but no tears yet.

teejayem · 28/01/2015 10:55

I've been stroking my chin to see if there are any pointy remnants left from the tweezefest. My work colleagues are either going to think I'm either deep in thought or totally frigging mad.

Not sure why this is being such a sad week. I usually quite like it when Mr Tee buggers off on work trips as I can run all the hot water out by having a massive bath and then sit in bed from 8pm watching total brain rot on TV. Instead I am a total sad sack. A friend posted on FB about having to have her elderly cat put to sleep, and then I got upset because none of my cats would come and give me a cuddle. This morning I was snivelling in the shower after seeing all Mr tees toiletries gone. It's so silly!

ChatEnOeuf · 28/01/2015 11:05

Well specifically, Dulcet...because I failed the same level three times on my learning French App (Infinitives 2.4); because the room I teach first aid in is booked out in the first week of Feb, meaning I can't do it for three weeks; because the man whom our landlord insists is the only one qualified to clear our gutters is not answering his phone and because I stitched seven rows of Mr Impossible and then realised he was one stitch too fat across the board. Totally unreasonable and pregnant. Today will be better, I've left DD on the sofa with DH, who is also sick (man flu) and gone to the bakery for fresh croissants and hot bread. Soup for lunch :)

Wil I hope the nocturnal shenanigans stop soon...DD missed the pox throughout nursery, despite technically having been exposed twice. Clearly the Belgian strain is more virulent!

ZylaB · 28/01/2015 11:54

Bugger. I've been readmitted with high bp and extra protein in urine :( my consultant says she'll rush bloods etc through and if my bp settles I can go home later but I don't think she's too hopeful cos she was also talking about possible steroids and trying to get me to 36 weeks :/

Pisghetti · 28/01/2015 12:06

Oh dear Zyla that place is becoming a home from home. Hope things do settle down for you. Were there results from your 24hr urine sample?

Chat I get the rage with stitchy mistakes. I found I'd positioned a leaf one stitch too far to the right while backstitching my latest project and had a right tantrum. I haven't picked it up since Blush must finish it off to get started on a birth sampler.....

I'm one of the hairy crowd. Naturally downy at the best of times (plus dark hair on pale skin so can't hide it) but the belly fur was new. I had it whipped off after a bikini wax and it took ages to come back. I'll have it done once more just before the baby is due. I have the eyebrows of an aged male politician - booked in to have them dealt with on Saturday.

teejayem · 28/01/2015 12:32

oh no zyla :( ! got all my fingers crossed it comes down xx

willywallace · 28/01/2015 12:42

I actually got the pox again as an adult whilst in foreign lands Chat so maybe it does differ between areas? Is that possible? I am a bit thick.

Aww feel better soon Tee.

I'm actually making an effort and cooking today. Not sure what the outcome will be like but at least the intention is there.

laurenamium · 28/01/2015 12:43

Oh no zyla! 36 weeks is a really good gestation though! How many weeks are you now?

willywallace · 28/01/2015 12:46

Sorry zyla, missed your post, hope all is ok Thanks .

Stoatystoat · 28/01/2015 13:02

Hope all is well zyla.

I'm still on pant watch. I'm not in pain, apart from the agony of waiting for my scan next Thursday. It is mainly brown. That makes me think its a period/implantation bleed. I can't honestly say I'm not also bleeding from pooing. I don't think that's what started the bleed, and I know some more will inevitably come when I strain, but I'm convinced some is caused by that as well. I'm wearing sanitary towels - all my knickers are black and I'm trying to monitor my bleeding - and they are aggregating me and I think thrush is imminent.

On the plus side, I'm in my sports bra due to heavy boobs and I feel sick, so am allowing myself to look at prams. I have to get my kicks somewhere!

Thankyou again for your understanding. This has been the most stressful time I have known. I'm sleeping well again - it's hard because at night I get a bit more and I wonder if a blood tsunami is going to happen and I'm scared of waking up in pain & not pregnant. But I'm back at work and this pregnant with period thing seems to be my new normal.
