Memphis,
my earlier question relates to yours, I'm more bothered about keeping DS in his normal routine than having my DH come with me on the evening before my section to get me settled in, I'd rather he was at home getting DS to bed, poor soul, his world is about to be turned upside down anyway! I've got my inlaws coming to help my DH out, even better I wont have to see them much at all - happy days :)
In your position I might be tempted to limit the amount you tell him, inductions can take a wee while and if he is inclined to worrying maybe the less he knows the better? You however know him the best.
Have a sick boy upstairs, he's picked up a virus and we ended up at out of hours last night incase it was something serious, he's been rocking some impressive temperatures over the weekend! Thankfully its happened this week and not next though, can you imagine if I had a newborn and sick boy at home at the same time!
Why I'm planning to have my DS come into hospital on the second day to visit, he knows that Mummy is going to the hospital to have the baby, infact he asked last night when we took him to the hospital to get him checked out if we were going to get the baby. Just one more week and I think he will be fine about it, there are a few of his nursery friends who have just become big brothers and sisters so he's sort of getting the idea of whats going on. Need to get him a present though from her to put in the hospital bag, I'm thinking a toy tool belt as he is very much a boy and is into fixing things!
I've had a heavy tight feeling in my pelvis for weeks now, I'm assuming that it's just the baby being engaged, but I'm not holding out much hope that anything is actually going to happen, which I think I've been hoping for for weeks now!
Frenetic, hope you feel better soon, isnt frustrating how close we are but not quite there!
Jen, any news? Who else was going to be induced?
Hello everyone else, hope you are all having a good Monday?
