Good luck for tomorrow carrot

We have decided not to find out the sex of this baby. We did the first time round, but this time I think I need the element of surprise to get me through labour! I'm hoping to stay at home for as long as possible while in labour, not sure how I will do though as I did that first time and I got to hospital at 3cm dialated. I may try using a tens machine this time, I'm not sure though as I think water really helps with pain relief.

Anyway, it's a bit early to be thinking about the final hurdle yet isn't it. Mustn't get too ahead of myself

Tooth I had something similar for a couple of weeks kept waking up during the night with cramps and having to run to the loo hot flushes dizziness and everything its so lovely lol

Red blood seems to be coming after bowel movements, when there is a bit of straining involved (sorry for TMI )

Apart from that it's dark brown. And I'm feeling dizzy and nauseous today, and a bit tired too... I wish time could speed up!

We are not finding out the sex this pregnancy (if all goes well) - we didn't last time and it was magical!

We are thinking we might this time, we didn't last time but a few minor complications (had a water birth and my umbilical cord ruptured another had to get me out to deliver the placenta) meant I didn't know for ages!! He was lying on my chest but no one had said. I never thought to ask and my DH had about fainted (lots of blood in the water from the cord)!!

I'm not finding out, I like surprises! I have all girly things already, I'm hoping for another girl. It would make my life easier!
I'm finding I'm feeling more human over the past few days. I felt sick but not horrible and slightly more engery. I'm over 10weeks now so I'm hoping this is the final stretch now!

Hiya ladies. Had our private scan this morning, I'm 9w today going by LMP and little beany measured 8w6d, lovely heartbeat, so relieved that all is well. Midwife came and booked me in on Thurs and 12w scan is booked in for the 3rd Feb. Way more sick and tired this time than with my others, not sure if it's just because I'm older, feel like I could sleep for England though.

I finally had my booking appointment come through, this wed & then my scan will be booked from then.
10 weeks Tomo feel like hit a mile stone, but still uneasy if everything is ok. Just want to know!! I never really worried about MC with my other two but this one it's all I can think about :0(

Talking of cravings.. Since someone mentioned it on here about marmalade!!! OMG had to send Dh out. Yesterday all I could think about. That and cheese! - don't worry not both together cravings not got that weird yet. With DD1 I wanted to smell bleach & DD2 I wanted to brush my teeth. So marmalade & cheese wouldn't be so bad! Haha

I had my booking appointment on Friday. I asked for the drugs as I haven't even been able to go to work because the nausea is so bad, and I'm so bloated that I already look six months pregnant! But the midwife said that because it's twins there are loads of extra hormones so it's nothing to worry about.

Is anybody else sick of hearing "Have you tried ginger biscuits?"?!

I'm now 10+3 and my sickness seems to be easing. Evenings are still awful but I'm generally alright in the day. I'm still knackered, hopefully my energy will return as my house is a tip and my DS has taken delight in emptying every toybox in the house.

Lovely to hear about you scan rick. We have one next Sunday. I'm terrified and excited.

Yes, yes dani. I might just punch the next person who suggests ginger to me. I have vomited ginger crystals, biscuits and drinks. I never want to see the stuff again.

I had a good day yesterday with no vomitting. But it seems that if I do manage to eat, it gets stuck inside me. I spent all of last night in pain with constipation. We had to cancel out plans today and stay at home so u could down prune juice and sit by the toilet. A strong coffee helped, even though I can't currently stand the stuff. And when I finally went, I managed to wake up some old piles. How fucking fabulous!

I hope everyone else is doing ok.

tooth my body seems to do the exact same thing... Constipated, constipated, constipated then all of a sudden big painful clear out! I swear those pains must rival contractions (Im probably just in for a big shock!) the constipation has eased a bit though since the nausea has gone away (well the all day nausea anyway) and I've been eating more normally again rather than just marmite on toast..

Is is our first so we decided we want a delivery room surprise :) so tempting to find out the gender though just so we can buy clothes!

Glad to see the constipation followed by the opposite seems to be normal. Its driving me mad! Feeling really miserable today, I thought things were improving but they've gone down hill very quickly this weekend. I'm really breathless, even walking a few metres has me out of breath and dizzy. The nausea has now turned into sickness too and i've had a few migraines which paracetamol hasn't touched.

Feeling really guilty for staying in bed most of the weekend while DP looks after the dogs and has done the housework, cooking etc. Have already told work I wont be in tomorrow too, which has added to the guilt.

Love all the talk upthread about gender. We will definitely be finding out. I'm a control freak and want to be as prepared as possible. I'm betting on a boy, but a girl would be very welcome as a few of my friends have offered me pink hand me down's.

I'm 7w5 and I'm jealous of those ahead of me! Apparently there is a big growth spurt around 8w so I'm expecting to feel like even more shite next week.

As well as feeling sick, I've been feeling really faint and weak and just want to lie down all day. I can't wait for this to pass. I've gone off marmalade and toast, and just don't fancy anything, i'm eating because I have to but I'm not getting excited by nice food anymore which is always my weakness!

Carrott my MC started with a couple of strong cramps, it made me double over. Then I had some brown blood, which quickly turned into a red flow with clots. It sounds like yours isn't as bad as that, which is good!
By the time I was scanned, the day after the bleeding had started I only had a small clot left to pass. I know there are other MC stories, which may not be as straightforward as mine but I would have thought you'd have more pain.

Ugh I can't deal with feeling ok, I'm being ridiculous imagining everything has gone wrong, ignoring my DP who keeps telling me people do start feeling better. I'm driving myself crazy. I have bad anxiety anyway but I don't know how I can carry on feeling like this til my next scan, that I don't even have a date for yet!

Carrot with DD1 I bled really heavy red & brown, clots no pain I swore it was the end. But here she is refusing to eat her breakfast or get ready for school grrrrr

shantotto how far along are you now? Symptoms do come and go and some people just don't have any! Maybe call the scan department at the hospital and see if you can find out when it would be? Might put your mind at ease if you've got a date to get to :) fingers crossed for you

I've hit the 10 week mark today... Eek! And then DH said how many weeks is pregnancy again? I said 40 why? He goes well you're a quarter of the way through then! Ahh that's scary!! Haha but in a good way :)
