Marks and Spencer's have some good non-wired bras, not very pretty or exciting but they are comfy and supportive! Saw some good ones in mothercare too the other day that are also nursing ones, think I'll buy those next dos don't wanna then need a load of nursing bras once baby arrives! I got some good under the bump skinny jeans in debenhams the other day too - so comfy but also look like normal skinnies :)

MagicAlwaysLeadsToTrouble · 01/02/2015 13:06

I picked up a great bra from Sainsburys the other day. It's a stretchy over the head type one. Obviously no wire. Only £5 and so comfy!

nannynome · 01/02/2015 13:17

Shantotto, I am rhneg too, DS1 was A positive but all fine after injections even with different blood types.

We went to one of the Toddler and Baby shows and there was a lady there doing maternity bras. Will try and find card as she was great and so helpful. I also second the M & S wireless bras, they are comfy until you needs to nurse. Bravado do awesome seamless bras which are great for sleeping in.

Hello everyone!
I've not posted for a week or so due to battling with hg, but finally seem to have come out the other end. I'm still sick, but not half as much and am managing to keep liquids down. Thank god for avoiding hospital as I hate the place.

It's my 35 th birthday today. Yikes! So pleased to be pregnant as I don't think I would have taken to it very well if we were still ttc. We always planned on having a baby when I got to 35 and I'm so grateful that it worked out. A very different celebration to last year, when I was still drinking gin at 6am. We have been for a lovely Sunday lunch and now I'm sitting very still, trying to make sure it stays in my belly!

Lovely to see all of the scan pics and hear everyone's good news. I'm 10+5 and still not had my date through. I think I'll give them a ring tomorrow to chase it up.

I hope everyone is keeping warm and enjoying a lovely Sunday.

Luciferbox · 01/02/2015 16:02

Lovely scan pictures. Mine is on Tuesday when I'll be 13+5. I'm terrified, I was fine with DS but this time I won't stop worrying until I see the hb on the screen. Only 2 more sleeps

PenguinTuxedo · 01/02/2015 17:22

Is anyone suffering with sickness/nausea to the extent you're needing time off work?

toothachereturns · 01/02/2015 18:00

11+1 today and my morning sickness has all but disappeared! in fact apart from sore boobs, itchy nipples and constipation I feel quite normal. isn't being pregnant so glamorous!? Grin Hmm

I can't see any scan pics on this stupid phone app. Sort it out MN!
Happy Birthday Frolic! Thanks Biscuit

happygojo · 01/02/2015 18:33

Omg itchy nipples! Mine have been awful! Especially at the end of the day. Seems to have eased now - they are just super sensitive. I am down with my 4th weekend migraine in a row.... Scan on Tuesday I hope everything is ok so then I can see that it is all worth it

Emb540 · 01/02/2015 18:40

My nipples every now and again really tingle lol I keep having dreams about BF can't wait to do it again.

Gutted!! That pushchair I wanted is now longer in sale I hesitated too long!!!! Shock

Frolicacid · 01/02/2015 20:03

I have penguin. Almost two weeks ago I was really dehydrated. My gp signed me off work until tomorrow and prescribed anti sickness meds. I'm much better thanks to the meds and rest. But they make me very drowsy, so I won't be able to take them when back at work. God knows how I'll manage but I'm going to give it a go. I'm on leave now for a few days and then back at the end of the week.

I really recommend a gp visit if you are feeling terrible. I left it way to long and was lucky to get away without having to be hospitalised. Don't worry about asking for help if you need it.

I've not had itchy nips, but my huge f-cups often feel like they are on fire. Not fun!

karatekimmi · 01/02/2015 21:03

I had three days off a couple of weeks ago after getting to school and not being able to stop vomiting. It's difficult being a teacher as you cant just leave to be sick. I nearly went home early last week again, but managed to hang on!!

birchwoods · 01/02/2015 21:05

I absolutely love my Belvia bra, highly recommend, I'm definitely going to get more. H&M have loads of nursing bras online, some of them are quite pretty!

I hope the nausea subsides soon for those of you suffering.

Have any first-timers started getting a bump yet? I'm 13+1 and I've got a tiny one starting...either that or it's a food baby! So I've bought some maternity leggings and jeggings today from H&M, sooo comfy!!

Glitterrascal · 01/02/2015 22:05

Penguin - I've had to take what's added up to a couple of weeks off work. It's very unlike me but it really was necessary. No way I could have managed HG and work and I'm so glad I did. Trying to struggle with both completely shattered me, post physically and emotionally!!!

Glitterrascal · 01/02/2015 22:05

Both *

PenguinTuxedo · 01/02/2015 22:08

Thanks for the replies both :) I am really struggling, and I feel pathetic for saying it, but I am in tears a lot of the time (at work as well) because I just feel so sick 24/7 and I'm dry heaving all the time and being sick now and again.

I was given anti sickness tablets after a phone conversation with a Dr last Friday. I had three amazing days where the sickness was either gone or bearable. Come Tuesday, and I was right back to where I started. Increased the dose yet I'm still feeling awful.

I just don't know what else to do. I can't keep having sick days from work, they are getting annoyed and it's hard to cover me too. I just feel so low at what should be a happy time

PenguinTuxedo · 01/02/2015 22:09

Should mention I'm 14+2

sianihedgehog · 01/02/2015 22:46

Fanby I've apparently got a retroverted uterus, is that what you meant? Tilts to the back instead of the front. They had trouble getting a good look at my 10 WK private scan because of that and because I have a large fibroid in the way, too.

Glitterrascal · 01/02/2015 23:10

Penguin - I'm actually 14+2 too and was feeling so similar a few weeks ago!! I was incredibly low and upset. I had no choice but to take time off as I was hospitalised. I'm still being sick every day but the only difference is the nausea has eased (it's not 24-7 anymore) and I'm able to eat and drink more than I was between weeks 6-12. It's still pretty grim and I'm struggling on...I've had what I would feel is a lot of time off work (it's prob not) and I don't think my employers have been too impressed because it's just not the thing to ever do in my workplace. There have been few pregnancies since I've worked there and none of the women have taken time off throughout so I was beating myself up over that, worrying that they thought I was either exaggerating or was "weak". I definitely got really stressed and upset over the fear of the consequences of taking time off. However, so glad I did, I think it's definitely been a factor in my "recovery" and I just have had to accept that I may never be viewed the same in work but you can't expect your body to perform miracles - it's trying it's best at present and the stress just makes the sickness worse (I think so anyway). If you are feeling rotten, be it down the combination of sickness and stress, I recommend taking a few days off work and seeing if there's any improvement in mood and health. I would hate to think of anyone struggling on and things becoming really tough as I feel like that happened me a few weeks ago and it was horrible. It was a very upsetting time and I'm not one to be dramatic!

Glitterrascal · 01/02/2015 23:12

Also penguin, maybe speak to your GP and see if they can prescribe you an alternative, some tablets work for different people in different ways! If that makes sense?!

Fanby · 02/02/2015 08:56

Ah! Haha Sainihedgehog that must be what I mean! I could have sworn the doctor said introverted Grin!

Sorry to hear about those who are feeling really rotten. Sending weirdo internet hugs xx

Dani240 · 02/02/2015 11:50

I've had a go at making the spreadsheet! I've just used the information from the top of the thread and copied the layout of the (far more organised) September people! I'll try to update it over the course of the day, but please add in your own stats if you can!

docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1e5Gsaz5GkI6o2FYxLVvBi29zs83njdtn6giWBNAkGJM/edit?usp=sharing

ChanceBeAFineThing · 02/02/2015 12:22

Thanks Dani, that amazing! I can't edit anything though, should I be able to? Due date is now 29th July for me.

birchwoods · 02/02/2015 12:38

Thanks Dani, I bloody love a spreadsheet! I've filled in my details. Does it save automatically?

In other news, the headache is back today. I've resisted taking any pain killers until now but I think I may crack and go and get some paracetamol. Has anyone else taken paracetamol so far? Do you just take the normal dose of two tablets?

Guyropes · 02/02/2015 12:42

dani wow! That's amazing! Well done. Yes, September are clearly more together than us!

I'm usually on my phone, so can't update my stats (strictly speaking due in July!) but I will next time im on a pc.

Guyropes · 02/02/2015 12:47

Birchwoods: yes, 2x500mg paracetamol is what I've been doing for headaches. Seem to have much less headaches since I've started on the aspirin, though which us good. Hope you feel better soon.
