I'm so sorry iloveyoubaby. Take care of yourself.

emb, Dexter is ace! Stick with it, it's a slow grower.

My scan went well Smile I have a little wriggler. They actually changed my due date to 28 July, but would love to stay with you guys if that's ok? If you'll have me Smile

I might be the first and upload a pic.... Not a great one as he/she was chilling with their hands up by their head!

Thinking of you iloveyoubaby Thanks

Dozygirl · 21/01/2015 18:01

iloveyoubaby I'm so so sorry to hear your news. Look after yourself and take care. Flowers

frolic hg sounds horrendous. Hope the tablets do the trick for u and u start feeling better soon. Can't be much fun. Enjoy resting and watching TV though. Have u seen broadchurch? I'd heard good things about it so just started watching the first series. It did make me cry a fair bit in the first few episodes though.

I had an interview today at work just for an acting up position. It was quite literally the worst interview I have ever ever given in my life! I'm totally gonna blame baby brain and also that I've not one in years. I wasn't too bothered about the position because it would mean a lot more stress and working late which u probably don't need at this stage of my life with a baby on the way but I'm just really disappointed in myself that I did so terribly because I know I'm ready for the job and would do great at it. I've always been quite good at interviews but this time i completely lost my head and answered all the questions really badly. But at least it's given me some practice for the future so next time I'd do better hopefully.

xBlueberry88x · 21/01/2015 19:18

D00dles · 21/01/2015 20:46

I'm so sorry iloveyou look after yourself Flowers
I'm so jealous of all these scans, mine should have been next week but had to postpone it a week due to work stuff! Although I've had two already, so I'm just being greedy!

Hope you feel better soon frolic

sofabear · 21/01/2015 23:31

So sorry to hear your news iloveyoubaby take care

Can echo all the box set recommendations and add True Detective. We're just starting Penny Dreadful so hope it will be good.

Had a burger tonight which was a bit on the pink side, should've complained but was being too polite. How careful is everyone being with that kind of thing?

Augustwedding · 22/01/2015 09:05

Had scan yesterday. HAd a little wriggler! Changed edd to 27.7.15 but will stick here is that's ok!

BellaBee1977 · 22/01/2015 10:01

Hi all

I've been lurking for a while as didn't feel ready to post and don't like being so negative. This isn't my first baby but for some reason this time round (I think because of my age I know its my definite last baby) I've been a nervous wreck! I've felt so poorly and I've done nothing but worry Sad

Yesterday I got up, I didn't feel poorly anymore, I didn't feel bloated I just felt 'different' I can't really describe it other than I just don't feel pregnant anymore. Yesterday the only symptom I had was tender boobs but today that has gone too. RL friends are telling me to just enjoy my pregnancy and its just the sickness wearing off - I'm 12 weeks but I'm not convinced. I've already had a dating scan at 9 weeks and seen baby and heartbeat but I'm really struggling today. Has anyone else suddenly felt lots better?

Thanks for reading Smile

ruby242 · 22/01/2015 10:16

Iloveyou, so sorry to hear of your loss :(

Frolic, sorry you've been so sick but some time off work will help. I wasn't quite as bad as you but had time off work and found some time resting in bed helped so much and also relieved the stress of worrying about how I will cope at work.

August congrats and what a lovely scan photo! You must be so happy!

Bella, yes I'm suddenly feeling better (not quite normal but better!!) and im only 10 + 6 so if you are 12 weeks it's expected to feel better :) I read about how hcg declines around now and the placenta starts to take over so you shouldn't feel as sick :) Do you have long until your scan as that will reassure you?

Frolicacid · 22/01/2015 10:22

Thank you for all your good wishes. I didn't think it was possible to feel so sick. I have anti sickness meds and won't be going back to work for a few weeks. I'm determined not to go to hospital, so trying very hard to keep fluids down.

Thank you for all the box-set recommendations. We've done breaking bad and orange is the new black. Dexter was too gory for me, even without hyperemeses! I might try gossip girl, probably a good idea to go for something DH is unlikely to watch with me!

I hope you're all doing ok? Lovely scan photos.
To the last poster (can't remember name sorry), I have no experience yet of symptoms disappearing. Try to stay positive and relax. Things are supposed to feel better at 12 weeks. I'm sure that's what you're experiencing. Do you have another scan soon? Take care Flowers

BellaBee1977 · 22/01/2015 10:25

iloveyou I'm sorry to hear of your loss, sending lots of love to you Flowers

Thanks Ruby, it will be a week today unless I go for a private one which I'm really tempted to do for reassurance.

Glitterrascal · 22/01/2015 10:46

Hi all, again, another poster with a lengthy absence from here due to the most rotten sickness I've ever encountered! Diagnosis of hyperemesis and a conclusion that I'll never have any more babies...she says knowing that everyone has warned me this will change! I actually was a bit scared to come on this discussion the past while as I really did not think id make it this far. Still v nervous! Frolicacid - I don't know your precise circumstances but please don't be frightened of going to hospital, I put it off continuously and am so glad I went in the end. It really can be what your body needs after dehydration/starvation and I was told it's usually the only thing that can "break" the sickness cycle. I was able to eat again in hospital for the first time in weeks and the relief was amazing. Id hate to think of anyone struggling on the way I was!

Glitterrascal · 22/01/2015 10:46

Hugs to Iloveyou too

BellaBee1977 · 22/01/2015 10:48

Oh Frolicacid sorry that you are feeling so poorly, my sister suffered terribly with HG. We used to keep her in box sets too! I do hope you start feeling better soon xxx

Next scan is next Thursday and feels like forever to wait.

wavesandsmiles · 22/01/2015 13:30

Frolic, hospital for rehydration can be great and sometimes break the cycle of ongoing sickness. What meds are you on? I'm on ondansetron melts plus stemetil. Can't take time off as so so much happening work-wise, and managing to stay just the right side of hydration.

Icelollies are great for getting fluids in, but you need to try to get high calorie food in too as ketosis will come as a result of starvation as well as dehydration.

Feel like a hypocrite typing this as I should take my own advice, but I'm single mum to three, and this pg is still top secret and being hospitalized would let the cat well and truly out of the bag, so working closely with my GP and using all my coping techniques from last time to try to manage the HG.

xBlueberry88x · 22/01/2015 14:23

Sorry so many of you are feeling horrible I actually feel a little better today just a little crampy

Frolic Spinning has messaged you not sure if you've seen it

Glitterrascal · 22/01/2015 15:34

Waves- just have to say you are actually fantastic! Really do admire you managing HG with work and kids!

Augustwedding · 22/01/2015 16:18

Has anyone managed to find any decent boot it under the bump jeans? I got two pairs from new look but they shrunk in the wash and I'm taking them back. Tearing my hair out trying to find some!

Dozygirl · 22/01/2015 17:04

Welcome Bellaboo. Think it's normal to feel worried when symptoms disappear. Mine come and go but for me it's just feeling sick and wretching occasionally rather than much actual sickness. Hope u get reassured when u have scan.

August lovely scan photo. I got some bootcut under bump jeans from mamas and papas. Haven't washed them yet but generally when u wash jeans they shrink a bit and then stretch when u wear them a bit. Mine are quite comfortable. Found them a bit uncomfortable when I first tried them but they soon loosened up and I love them now. I don't have a bump yet though.

Sorry for all the people suffering hg. Really feel for u all.

sianihedgehog · 22/01/2015 17:14

Just been for a scan and blood draw for the Harmony test, and saw our baby bouncing and moving all over the place! All normal for 11 weeks, and all looking good. :) Such a relief, I've been convinced that having absolutely NO symptoms meant it had gone wrong again.

Daveface · 22/01/2015 17:32

I had my scan too today :) all is good! Moved date forward 3 days to 3rd Aug but in reality it will be ELCS at 39 weeks so last week of July.

Very exciting as I'm symptomless too, not even any more tired than normal. I keep forgetting I'm even pregnant!

Emb540 · 22/01/2015 17:46

Just found ASOS have a 20% off maternity sale at the money with code JUSTRIGHT ????

PenguinTuxedo · 22/01/2015 18:15

I've been lurking on this thread (and the other one) for weeks and weeks, but been too scared to post as I'm terrified something will go wrong.

I am 12+2 weeks, and my nausea is getting worse this week, not better :( I have my scan tomorrow, and I am terrified. I am just utterly convinced that they're going to say it's a mmc and baby died at x weeks.

I know how crazy and pathetic that sounds, but I really am 100% convinced that's what they're going to say :( Has anyone else felt this way?

Augustwedding · 22/01/2015 19:25

Thank you dozy girl but was the lenght that shrunk!

toothachereturns · 22/01/2015 20:30

Evening ladies!

Emb thanks for the tip!!! Just had a look. There are some lovely things. I'm still too paranoid to buy anything until I have had my 12 wk scan. Confused

Nearly 10 wks now.... still feeling rubbish. I can't remember what it's like to not feel nauseous!
