happygojo definitely drink lots. The night before too. I used to give blood and this works a treat.

Hope the cottage pie was good guyropes. I've actually had a better night. Hopefully it's not just a one off.

Counting down the hours til scan Wednesday now!

whitwoochantelle · 19/01/2015 21:09

Hey ladies I've not been on for along while, been diagnosed with hyperemesis gravidarum? Is that spelt righthaving a ruff old time had 2 hospital stays each been 4 days long due to dehydration. Im been sick up to 20 times a day even when ive not ate I feel so gloomy ! I am on sickness tablets but they have not been much help. Ignore my negativity so nice reading up on every ones news

Bannockbaby · 19/01/2015 22:40

Hi guys can I join? Am roughly 8 weeks, and my dates have me at edd 29th August, which is the day after our wedding anniversary and the day before my birthday! Been to see the doctoring Saturday, and going back for bloods tomorrow - she didn't want to take them on sat as we live in the middle of nowhere so there's only emergency bloodworm done on weekends.

Not had any nausea so far (touch wood), but have MASSIVE boobs and my slight intolerance to wheat has increased to the point that I have cut it out all together, as I was like a liferaft hitting the water within moments of eating it. Not been great at cutting it out, as I'm a doofus, and an hour after eating something, while wondering why I was so uncomfortable, I've suddenly said, 'there's wheat in noodles!' Or kitkats...in much more positive news, my psoriasis is clearing up marvellously, though which to blame for that, the baby or the bread, remains to be seen!

Also, I'm 30 and this will hopefully be my first munchkin

Bannockbaby · 19/01/2015 23:01

Wow I left some interesting typos in that...

Dozygirl · 19/01/2015 23:10

Welcome Bannock and lol at 'bloodworm' haha. Made me chuckle. Love a good typo.

Guys hope u enjoyed the cottage pie. I had cottage pie just a ready made one I'm afraid coz I'm feeling too lazy to cook these days.

Yey for all the good scans so far

Whit nice to see u back. Hope the sickness tablets help. A work colleague had hg and she improved with the tablets. Sounds horrendous anyway.

User24689 · 20/01/2015 06:08

Hi everyone, just back from my 12 week scan!! So amazing to see baby on the screen, wriggling around so much it was hard for the sonographer to get the pictures! I have to wait a week for the result of the nucheal screening but fingers crossed everything will be OK. Hope everyone else is doing well!

Welcome bannock and sorry to hear about your sickness whitwoo :(

Sickness finally easing for me.... finally!!

happygojo · 20/01/2015 09:22

I am feeling (almost) human again! I was yesterday. Still not big on a lot of food though... apart from breakfast, when it comes to breakfast I am like a hobbit (Breakfast, second breakfast, elevenses).

Still not mastered dinner though Confused

Emb540 · 20/01/2015 09:33

Off for my bloods today, I am a nightmare it have contracting veins I always come out black and blue!! Wish me luck Smile

Talking about BMIs mines 32 lol in obese but it a pile of crock! I'm a size 12 well more 14 at the moment. If I was the weight for my height I would need to be 8 & 1/2 stone lol be nothing of me mun ha.
I ignore it I'll have to have the GT test but it's fine.

Glad some of you are feeling better now, those been poorly hope it all passes soon!
Xxxx

Emb540 · 20/01/2015 09:35

Also now at the ripe old age of 29 soon to be 30 I am in the older category find that baffling. Lol

wavesandsmiles · 20/01/2015 13:00

I fell in love this morning..... I had my 12 weeks scan and my little baby was waving at me Smile. I have photos and am still smiling about it.

Still keeping it very quiet - hoping to get to 20 weeks at least before letting people know. Not a hint of a bump despite this being DC4 and my youngest being 18 months! Naturally slim and HG keeping weight well and truly off.

Hate thinking of myself as an "older mum". I'm 36 (according to the chronological method of calculating age), but still at uni in my mind.

Dozygirl · 20/01/2015 13:59

Had my booking in appt. It was fairly straight forward and quick. She wasn't interested in much family history, only on my side even though my friend said she'd been asked about both sides when she went the other week.
She was a bit brutal with the blood taking so I'm defo gonna have a bruise this time. She did it right at the beginning so it hurt all the way through the appt.
Anyway she took a note of my days off in the next few weeks so she can get my scan booked in when I'm off which is good. She said it'll be between 12 to 14 weeks. I really hope it's more 12 weeks but I doubt it

yey for the good scan waves

otter32 · 20/01/2015 14:57

Can we see any of these scan pics pretty please?! Grin

ChanceBeAFineThing · 20/01/2015 18:05

Had my scan today! Cried as baby was all ok and had a good heartbeat (previous pregnancy was mmc so was petrified). Sonographer was really lovely and gave me extra pics even though it was a strict £4 per photo rule. She said not to tell anyone Smile

Due date revised from 3rd August to 29th July, but going to continue to hang out here as can't be bothered to read everyone else's life on the July thread when I'm so invested in all of yours Grin and besides my previous DC were way late so sure it will be an August baby anyway Smile

Dozygirl · 20/01/2015 18:09

Great news chance and yey to sticking with us. I bet I'll cry when I see mine. I'm so excited

toothachereturns · 20/01/2015 19:01

Lovely to hear about all the healthy babies performing well on screen. Grin

I can't wait for my next one! It's still 3 weeks away. Booo.

northernlassy24 · 20/01/2015 19:37

I got my scan date through... friday 13th feb Confused good job im not superstitious! i dont know if i can wait that long, might have to go get a private one before then.

Still no sickness... although I cried today. Because I had a headache. I'm usually a bit of a softy but that's just ridiculous!

ruby242 · 20/01/2015 20:08

What wonderful news to hear about the scans :) Such an exciting time, I have another 2 weeks to wait for mine but I'm enjoying hearing other people's scan reports!

Haven't posted on this thread for a little while as I've been so sick with morning sickness, been a real nightmare. Today has been much better and almost feel myself-amazing how good you feel after sickness for what feels like forever! Hopefully this isn't just a one-off day for me but I'll take it even if it is!

Anyone else concerned about their diet? My weight is fine but because of the sickness I've basically been eating no vegetables and just rubbish food all the time as thats all my stomach feels like...and lots of lemonade!! Guess I'll make up for it in second trimester :)

Dani240 · 21/01/2015 10:41

ruby I wouldn't worry about diet yet - I spoke to the midwife about only being able to eat toast and she said "If you can only eat toast, just eat toast and don't worry too much." If you're taking your vitamins then you can catch up on the healthy eating when you're feeling a bit better!

northernlassy the other day I looked at our guinea pigs and the thought of how cute they are made me cry Hmm - so I feel your pain about being ridiculously over-emotional!

Emb540 · 21/01/2015 11:30

Just bee shopping my DDs both seem to have had a growth spurt over Xmas needed new uniform.
But I had to resist on seeing all the Xmas baby grows / outfits all on sale!! Only £2 or £3 some of them! Ahhh I am regretting now I didn't get them but seeing not had first scan tempting fate!

But I did get some Xmas wrapping paper and decs all on sale, thinking this Xmas will be tight money wise on Mat leave. Getting as much as I can now! Presents and all lol x

ILoveYouBaby · 21/01/2015 12:09

I'm going to have to leave this group as I had a miscarriage confirmed this morning.

Good luck to everyone xx

birchwoods · 21/01/2015 12:38

Iloveyoubaby so sorry to hear that, I hope you're ok. Take care of yourself. Flowers

Isabeau1980 · 21/01/2015 12:40

Oh ILoveYouBaby I'm so sorry to hear that.

Mind yourself. Flowers

Frolicacid · 21/01/2015 15:52

I'm so sorry for your loss iloveyou. Take care of yourself Flowers

How is everyone doing? I'm just back from the gp, who has diagnosed HG and signed me off work for the rest of the month. He initially wanted me to go to hospital, but I cried and got him to agree to home treatment with anti sickness meds and plenty of rest.
I've barely kept any food or drink down since Sunday. Trying to be positive and greatfull for our little jellybean, but feeling quite sorry for myself as well.

Anyone got any good box set recommendations? Looks like I'll be on the sofa for a while!

birchwoods · 21/01/2015 16:17

Oh frolic you poor thing!

Yes get the box sets in. The whole of Gossip Girl is on Netflix! Also recommend Breaking Bad and my all-time favourite True Blood. Enjoy! Hope you feel better soon.

Still no nausea for me (I know I'm lucky) but the past few days I have felt utterly drained of all energy. I'm struggling to function at work and dread the commute as I'm so sleepy! I've got Metafit tonight so maybe that will perk me up.

Hope everyone is ok. Thanks for words of comfort the other day guyropes Smile

Emb540 · 21/01/2015 17:07
