Hedgehog - I'm the same, have barely any symptoms, though I had 3 scans at EPU at 4/5 weeks, a private one last week (at 9 + 5), one on Tuesday at my Consultant's office and then one today as part of my Harmony test. The period between the scan at 5 weeks and last week felt sooo long! Try to think positive thoughts.

Drool I did the exact same thing for my Dad's birthday with my DS. He was chuffed. Good luck for your scan.

hedgehog comforting to know i am not alone although i am sorry you are suffering too! having consulted the dreaded google the symptoms do line up with irritated bladder - i wake up in the night feeling like my bladder is tightning and it gets achey. Not sure what the treatment would be, if any.

Hope everyone's ok. I'm finding being back at work after being away hard going. Didn't feel sick at all while on holiday but was sick again yesterday. I forgot to take my folic acid tablets away with me so I'm wondering whether it's those that making me feel ill. They are combined with calcium and vitamin d so I might just go back to taking just folic acid and see if that helps.

That's lovely lucifer! I hope we get a scan date in time to do it for my dad.

I just had my first midwife appt. She was really lovely. It was LONG mind! Lots of questions. Looks like I'll be midwife lead care. She tested my urine and I'm a bit dehydrated, so need to up the water and down the vomitting. Easier said than done

I hope everyone else is ok. thank god it's Friday. I'm so ready to sleep!!

Hi frolic did she feel your tummy or examine you in any way or was it just lots of paperwork and wee testing?

No examination happy. She just did my wee as I was sick when I got there and have been regularly so she was concerned about dehydration. She also took a sample to check for infection.
The rest was just questions, form filling and weighing.

Hi ladies and newbies! I'm off work today because I nearly fainted after they took my bloods. Combination of the fall and rushing back to work yesterday, determined to carry on as usual despite being badly bruised and shook up. Also the antibiotics I'm taking for my UTI have made my morning sickness return I feel like a 60 year old!
But I did watch my first episode of One Born Every Minute and cried the whole way through! Ha!

All went well at the hospital today. Saw Peanut, saw Peanut's heartbeat, measurement in line with my dates and even got pictures.

(imaginary Kermit flail may have happened at this point)

Still have my booking in appointment next week.

I swear I aged 3 decades since Wednesday.

Isabeau that's fantastic, glad Peanut is doing well, must have been a huge relief to see him/her!

I got my scan appt through today and isn't till Thursday 29th Jan when I'll be 13 weeks. Know that's still in good time for the NT test but midwife said it should be next week so having to wait another week isn't what is hoped for especially as it'll be my first scan and like some others have commented on I'm terrified of them finding the worst case scenario.

Hope everyone else doing ok and that you all have a lovely weekend.

Sending lots of sympathy to you sickies! I'm lucky in that I haven't actually puked. Thought my nausea was getting better, then have had a bit of a difficult week. Tiredness is ramping up too. My little peanut is zapping everything from me!

I am also now in maternity jeans that my kind friend gave to me. Can't believe how much I'm actually showing. 12 weeks tomorrow! Scan week next week. Very excited. Slightly scared too.

Yey isabeau fantastic news.

I can't wait to get a scan. Im starting to get impatient now. Starting to believe a little but more that I am actually pregnant.
I'm obsessed with prodding myself to see if I can feel my uterus. I have no idea what it would feel like though but keep hoping I'll find it. Kinda just want a proper bump now although that'll mean buying new clothes. I'm not too sure about the maternity jeans I bought, doesn't seem to be a lot of stretch in them for the bump so I can't imagine them being comfortable for long but they'll do for now. They're under bump ones but because I'm not too slim at the moment due to all the food I've had to consume it feels like it just pushes all the fat up above it so doesn't look great. That shouid improve tho as it gets bigger I reckon.

Birch wood I never had any symptoms with bit DD this time is totally different on the sickness front.

Aw exciting all starting to have scans. God girls if I could post a pic? I am mahoooosive! I have a proper bump I am so scared it is twins!!! Eeek! I can't hide it anymore! It's obviously a bump not too many mince pies now.

emb, there are quite a few twins from the women on my dad's side. I've been worried due to feeling so ill (no bump yet). It will be quite a shock if we see two on the scan on Sunday. As long as there is a heartbeat I'll be happy.

Am off on holiday tomorrow and then have to wait almost another week after we return for my scan. Will be 13+4, these will be the longest 2 weeks....

Not sure how much skiing I'll be doing but it will be a very welcome break!! Had to check my ski gear fits earlier whilst packing, not sure what I would have done if it didn't - nothing like leaving it till the last minute. Although I was prepared enough to buy a tankini, realised a week back that I wont be able to make use of most the spa but I can do some swimming and none of my bikini tops fitted!

Have a good weekend and I look forward to catching up on everything when I get back....

Ooh have fun lam!! I thought I'd be able to go skiing in march but I might be starting to get too fat by then. I don't realise I was so close to 12 weeks already lol. Very much doubt I'd be able to fit into my ski pants but u don't have to have them done up anyway. As long as they stay up that's all that matters. Have a fab time anyway. I'm very jealous.

Bedtime for me already. Finished my long shift at work and it's pooped me out. Back in tomorrow as wel . Roll on lazy day Sunday.

Does anyone want to post bump photos?! I think that would be really interesting! I can do it from my iPhone by attaching a pic using the paper clip button. I did this on the conception board when I got my positive!

Is anyone else getting a really bad pain at either side of their stomach if you cough, sneeze, get up too quick..? It keeps happening and it really hurts!! Only for like 10 seconds or so but its not fun!

I'm still in bed waiting for the house to warm up, but have a bit of a rubbish pic from yesterday in my maternity jeans so will post that! Excuse my big bum!!

Come on 12 week scan! I am getting impatient but still need to wait another 2 weeks (by which time I will be nearly 13 weeks!). I'm a first timer and no evidence of any bump yet, but over the last couple of days when I move or stretch in a certain way, my belly feels somehow 'different'! Like there is something in there. No movement or anything...very hard to describe, just doesn't feel like it usually does. I'm taking that as a good sign...am I mad? :)

Cuppa I feel like that aswell especially when i sit on the edge of the bed to put socks on!

This is me at 8weeks I'm now 11, so I'll try to get a new one as I can no longer fit in normal jeans.
