Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 19th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 36th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates! It's a bit quiet at the moment, but with all these upduffed viroids hopefully it won't be for long!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

So, roll call below please, viroids!

chat they told me today my last hba1c was too low! You can't win with diabetes lol. Had a nice nap this afternoon (and eating crap for tea) :)

MrsNM · 14/01/2015 18:01

Had a catch up with the thread and I'm glad to hear appointments are going well for everyone!
I heard baby's heartbeat for the first time today, it's seriously the best sound I've ever heard! Cannot believe how amazing the feeling is Smile

Please get reduced movements checked out if you're worried at all!
I ended up calling the mat ward last night as I was quite ill and baby was quiet. Midwives were amazing, I was worried they'd laugh as I know I'm only just really supposed to be motoring movements according to my community midwife but they were great. Gave me some advice and said if no change over the next hour or two they'd happily have me in to check him but I swear the second I hung up he started kicking like mad!
Made me feel better knowing they'd take you seriously no matter how trivial you think the matter is!

EssiesInvisibleLlama · 14/01/2015 18:13

That's great to know they will take you seriously and not make you feel silly. Glad he started kicking like mad! Lauren I'd give them a call and see what they say, best to put your mind at rest.

Jeez I'm so flipping hungry all the time. Like ALL the time.

EssiesInvisibleLlama · 14/01/2015 18:34

MrsNM my useless phone only showed me the second half of your post. Amazing that you heard the heartbeat, how cool!

ZylaB · 14/01/2015 19:03

You remember how I made an executive decision and told the witch she wasn't allowed to visit me the month I got my BFP? Well I've made another one!! This baby isn't allowed to come before 37 weeks, everything WILL be ok until then! 37 weeks is when they count as full term, and also I don't get my pram until that week and I need to play with it first hehe :)

lildottie · 14/01/2015 19:14

oh I remember that zyla, I tried it every month after you did it but she never listened to me Wink . hope it works again for you!

how lovely to hear heartbeat mrsnm.

keep forgetting I have to do an injection at 8.15 then remembering in a panic! have now set an alarm on my phone!

LaLa5 · 14/01/2015 19:27

Hello everyone!

mountain don't be scared to exercise - as long as it's exercise you normally do there shouldn't be a problem. It's when people like me who normally do sfa start exercising that there's a problem! When i went to see midwife for first appointment she told me I'd definitely need early dating scan because of getting pg on the wtf cycle. Speak to midwife and it's likely you would need the same to date you properly (even then though my date changed again at 12 week scan!).

I'm still wavering about nct. Everyone at my work who had them is raving about how good they were compared to nhs ones and how much they valued the friends they made and postnatal support. I'm totally torn about it. God damn it woman just make a fucking decision!

Essie that's shite when you were hoping for reassurance :(. The scan will hopefully make you feel better though tomorrow.

I too have visions of someone with a wicker basket looking for lils eggs!

Mrs that's lovely :) - and I'm so glad they offered to get you in to check everything is ok.

zyla keep thinking your zen thoughts - where's zing with the zen unicorns when you need her?

willywallace · 14/01/2015 19:29

Alarm is a good idea Lil, I would never remember to do it.

Go for it Zyla Grin .

Early bed for me tonight, beyond knackered.

willywallace · 14/01/2015 19:35

How much did you say it was La? Do you have the money or could it be better spent on 'The List' Wink ?

I genuinely don't think you 'need' to do it. I haven't ever and it's never bothered me. Although I don't really think it's as much of a thing up here. If however you want to then I doubt you'll regret it, unless the money is an issue.

It'll be as good as the other people in your group. You could meet a new best friend or you could meet a bunch of annoying people, no way to tell really. helpful Hmm

Fleurchamp · 14/01/2015 19:45

Just back from yoga, I feel so good for doing something It was much more gentle than my last class but still felt good.

ZylaB · 14/01/2015 19:47

I may have eaten 5 wagon wheels today

lildottie · 14/01/2015 19:55

have just spent 10mins searching for zings unicorn picture but no joy Sad

couldhavebeenme · 14/01/2015 20:03

With regards to ante natal classes we couldn't justify the cost of nct and just did the NHS class. Have two amazing friends I met through that who were a great support during latter part of pregnancy, throughout mat leave and we still see each other regularly now. I know people including my mum who made fab friends through nct but it definitely isn't the only way to meet people! This time round I'm not sure what to do - would only do the free classes if anything but do have several friends who will be off at the same time as me. Also starting a pregnancy yoga class this week so hopefully meet some like minded types there.

ZylaB · 14/01/2015 20:13

Thanks for looking lil

DH is away tonight with work and I just sent him a text saying I was sorry I was crap at being pregnant and that I'm so sorry if our little girl has to come early and has problems, cos I'll feel it's my fault :(
He's being really sweet and telling me not to be silly, but it's so difficult not to blame my stupid body!

LaLa5 · 14/01/2015 20:21

Zyla none of this is your fault! You have a medical condition that you didn't choose to have.

You've done everything you can to keep Hannah healthy and get her to the delivery room safely.

Try to think positive thoughts it will be ok xxx

lildottie · 14/01/2015 20:37

zyla please don't beat yourself up, its not your fault. what about the amazing job your body has done so far. it took an egg and a sperm, combined them, and grew a tiny human with hands, feet, eyes, ears, lungs, a heart...you're body has done an amazing job, and still is doing. all you can do now is all you can do. and the best thing you can do is stay positive but be prepared. Thanks

WigglyBraddins · 14/01/2015 20:58

Ah zyla you're doing an incredible job of being pregnant. Think how far you've come. Huge hugs.

La I couldn't justify the cost of NCT antenatal classes. I bought the Mumsnet book, went to the free NHS classes and joined a pregnancy yoga class for about 6 weeks. I'm glad I did the yoga because I'm still in touch with the 4 other mums who had due dates near mine and that support network was a lifesaver especially in the early days. Do whatever will keep your mind at ease and get you some maternity leave mates.

WigglyBraddins · 14/01/2015 21:00

Oooh and La I was thinking about your having a minibreak while you can and not being able to necessarily afford it thing. I know it's not the same as a glam hotel, but could you do a house swap?

laurenamium · 14/01/2015 21:10

zyla you're doing an amazing job, like others have said its totally out of your control and you are managing everything you can brilliantly!

ZylaB · 14/01/2015 21:27

Sorry, was wallowing slightly. Shall attempt to sort myself out!! At least DH is coming with me to the hospital on fri, think it freaked him out a little bit that I was told to bring a bag just in case!

Am having a bath then going to cuddle up in bed with the cats, it's medically proven stroking pets reduces stress and lowers blood pressure, so they HAVE to cuddle me all night right? Wink

lildottie · 14/01/2015 21:31

Definitely zyla. and I'm working on getting you that unicorn still!

Pisghetti · 14/01/2015 21:41

Will this work.....?

lildottie · 14/01/2015 21:48

PiS yay!!

ZylaB · 14/01/2015 21:50
Grin

Thanks pis and lil

I'm ok, I'm doing bugger all tomorrow as I've been told to relax, but...do you think I should still go to lazy daisy? I missed the first one last week after being in hospital and think if I kiss the second it won't be worth me going?

willywallace · 14/01/2015 22:02

I think you should go zyla and just sit out anything strenuous. You can explain to instructor when you get there. They might talk about something useful.

Good work Pis!
