Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 19th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 36th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates! It's a bit quiet at the moment, but with all these upduffed viroids hopefully it won't be for long!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

So, roll call below please, viroids!

Great news Chat.

BTW lansinoh cream is £6.66 on amazon and Babies R Us have a sale on bottles and stuff.

RPopz · 13/01/2015 20:24

Heard good things about the medela swing Wil - which is not quite as pricey!!

I don't really buy this closed/open system stuff... as long as you're not using a second hand pump. You could always just pump some sterilising fluid through it.

willywallace · 13/01/2015 20:28

Never really thought of doing that Popz. My old one does look a bit grotty. Will look up the Swing. I am liking the sound of the Ardo double one Boo, had never heard of that before.

TheBooMonster · 13/01/2015 21:08

chat excited face seems we're everywhere! I hate to say it but the way he described the medicine that numbs the world for 30 seconds on demand (pretty sure it begins with R...) sounds so fab I almost hope that an epidural won't work... assuming I even labour long enough for them to think about either >.< They didn't give me stitches last time, there was a tare but they got distracted by the PPH and didn't do anything about the tare, it took fucking forever to heal >.> and I'm sure it didn't heal right but I was a bit scared about getting anyone to check and no one really offered post birth Blush might get them to have a peak this time... I'll remember about the leg crossing!

wil I've been keeping an eye on them kinda hoped they'd go down over xmas but apparently breast pumps don't need an xmas sale :( they did have a 12 days of xmas type competition on their Facebook though, entered and didn't win...

lildottie · 13/01/2015 22:42

boo that is just gross. won't be buying that swing one that's for sure! I learn so much from you ladies!

Essie I'd keep phoning gp daily from tomorrow about results in case they come early but don't phone you. fx its all cleared up now though and you can go back to just normal pg ailments!

all the anaesthetics stuff sounds scary boo and chat. just highlights that everyone has a different story - some of us struggle ttc, some of us have a tough time whilst pg, others during the birth. its humbling to know in our uniqueness we ate not alone!

I have my first scan tomorrow morning so hoping I'll be starting stimulation injections tomorrow night. not impressed I have to be up early for it though. got to be at the hospital for 9am, bad weather tonight/tomorrow and rush hour traffic to contend with, as well as trying to get parked! fun! does feel like it's actually going to start properly tomorrow though! exciting!

willywallace · 13/01/2015 23:11

Good luck Lil, really hope it all goes well for you tomorrow.

deeplybaffled · 13/01/2015 23:41

Thanks for all the advice on the bloating -someone described it on another thread as being like violet from Charlie and the chocolate factory, and that was spot on!

trying the lots more fluids and walking more, and whilst it could be coincidence, was a lot better today, so hoping that will crack it. If not, will add the raisins, but hoping to keep the prunes as an emergency measure Grin

good luck, lil !

DulcetMoans · 14/01/2015 00:20

Oh exciting lil! It's all happening! Shame about the early morning but totally worth it.

Breast pump talk all going over my head but got me wondering how much do you rely on friends opinions and how much on things like Which?? So many sources but you have to decide at some point.

They have dinner for breakfast here. The hotel buffet is amazing but some of the things are soup, noodles and veg curry. I want to eat authentic but I can't bring myself to have that for breakfast!

willywallace · 14/01/2015 02:20

God no I'd struggle with curry for breakfast. Leftover Chinese food now is different altogether.

I am a terrible shopper Dulcet. Pay far too much attention to reviews. Find it so hard to make up my mind.

Glad you're feeling a bit better Deeply. I'm really bloated tonight. Not doing a 2am walk in the snow though!

ZylaB · 14/01/2015 03:16

Motherfucking wankering arse badgers! Its 3amish and I'm wide awake, and since going to bed at 10ish have woken up 3 or 4 times desperate for the loo, to sit on it and have a tiny wee (guess she's sitting on my bladder at the moment), woken up countless times to turn over and have to be up in just over 3 hours and I know I'll be knackered! Grrrrrrrrr, it's like this every night!

Grin Grin Grin aaaaaan breathe Grin Grin Grin

Good luck for hospital today lil! I'm there at 8.30 but have to leave at 7ish to get there and parked in rush hour.

ChatEnOeuf · 14/01/2015 07:10

Good luck the hospital today Lil and Zyla

I couldn't have curry or noodles for breakfast either, Dulcet, though I'm not averse to last night's apple crumble... :)

Boo I grazed last time and it was the sodding PPH that they cited as the reason to suture! Left with a haematoma the size of a Cumberland sausage Angry

Fleurchamp · 14/01/2015 07:20

Good luck today lil and zyla

Another bad night's sleep Sad I do not envy my colleagues today.

I have no idea what PPH and haematomas are. Too scared to google!

laurenamium · 14/01/2015 07:35

Good luck today lil and zyla!

I have the ardo single electric pump on my amazon wish list Grin just waiting on having spare cash! Has anyone researched baby monitors yet? I want one with a video and heart monitor so have been looking at the angelcare ones but not sure if I've missed any! Ill use the heart monitor from day 1 so it's something ill need to have organised (paranoid control freak Wink)

LaLa5 · 14/01/2015 07:43

Good luck today lil and zyla!

I think I felt a flutter last night but it was blink and miss it so I'm not sure. Was very weird! I've had 2 hours sleep and feel rotten. Yesterday at work was torture, I felt so tired and crap

I'm buying new pump coz the idea of using someone else's freaks me out. That avent one looks good wil

I signed my horse over. I feel ok I know it was the sensible thing to do. I feel sad and a bit like I failed him but she can give him a better life at the moment and he's happy

I'm still wavering about nct. Loads of work people told me they wouldn't have coped with birth without it. I was just going to do daisy birthing and the free hospital class plus bf class. Am I being silly not doing nct? It's a lot of money!

Dulcet I went to Sri Lanka on honeymoon and they had all the normal breakfast stuff but also curry etc. it made me feel a bit bleugg to look at in the morning. They also gave us curry for breakfast on the place yuck don't fly Sri Lankan airways

LaLa5 · 14/01/2015 07:45

Lauren in looking at the angel care ones. Expensive but meant to be brilliant. I was looking at the ac1100

Fleurchamp · 14/01/2015 07:46

They have curry for breakfast in India too. I started out holiday turning my nose up but was happily tucking in by the end.
Toast and jam was very boring when we got home Grin
Would love to go to Sri Lanka!

Fleurchamp · 14/01/2015 07:50

That's the one we're looking at la our house is 3 storeys and so, potentially, the baby could be asleep two floors away- I like the idea of the video monitor to be able to check on them without having to go up two flights of stairs!

I have a little notebook, I jot down any recommendations and then look up prices and reviews. Still can't make a decision though!

mountaingirl01 · 14/01/2015 07:57

Good luck today lil

So I saw my gp yesterday, she cheered for me :) but apparently can't book me in for an early scan?? Have been referred to midwifes and hoping they will. If not I will pay for a private scan but really don't want to do that. How long did it take for your referrals to go through and when were your booking appointments??

Swallowed the fear and exercised again yesterday. Now really scared I've done something to the bean I know full well this is irrational

laurenamium · 14/01/2015 08:02

That's the one on my wish list too Grin ill keep on with that one then! That's all my technical Choices decided now then!

willywallace · 14/01/2015 08:17

We self refer Mountain so not sure. We make our booking apps with midwife when we phone up.

We have a Summer video monitor which is fine but doesn't have a heart monitor. My friend had angelcare one and liked it but said sometimes alarm went off if they just didn't move for a while and freaked her right out.

Crap sleep, knackered.

lildottie · 14/01/2015 08:27

think I have sympathy tiredness for you viroids. slept but think I slept lighter than usual. on way to hospital. glad we left when we did!

hope ur appointment goes well zyla

dulcet yuck, I hope you found the cornflakes!

Pisghetti · 14/01/2015 08:33

Morning viroids,

I'm so fed up of feeling fed up! Time to Pollyanna my ass - leg cramps in the night are not fun but if that's the worst thing I've had to deal with, then that shows what a lovely pregnancy this has been (glossing over the whole separating pelvis thing...), losing control of the car on some ice this morning wasn't fun either but at least I was in DPs 4 wheel drive and was able to regain control without hitting anything and didn't end up sideways in a ditch like some poor sod I drove past minutes later, it's my birthday tomorrow and I'm having a spa day with a pedi so next time I see my feet they'll be lovely, work sucks but I just need to pull my finger out and get cracking then maybe I won't be bored and can finish up my last 20 days on a high instead of leaving a path of chaos behind me.

There that's better Smile

I like Which reviews because they test things to destruction and also you get personal customer reviews too so you can see some 'non-lab' experiences. They haven't tested any of the monitors with the alarm sensors though. I'm planning on just getting a video monitor.

I'm fancying curry for breakfast now......

laurenamium · 14/01/2015 08:39

Aw pis how scary losing control of the car! Glad you're okay though!

willywallace · 14/01/2015 08:47

Can someone give me the motivation to get up and out please?! Really want to get MiniWil out of the house but it's snowing and I'm knackered. Need to leave in 40 minutes.

LaLa5 · 14/01/2015 08:56

Yay! Pis you go girl except for skidding on ice

Got fitmummy tonight, already feel like phoning to cry off but I won't!
