Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 19th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 36th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates! It's a bit quiet at the moment, but with all these upduffed viroids hopefully it won't be for long!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

So, roll call below please, viroids!

Yep I agree. Email so you have a record they were informed in time. Sounds like they're being wankers?

deeplybaffled · 12/01/2015 22:13

Hi. Can any of you more experienced viroids offer any advice on whether there is anything that helps with bloating and the dreaded pregnancy constipation? Intermittently looking like I've swallowed a volleyball.... :(

MrsNM · 12/01/2015 22:15

Fab idea thank you!
Just got I to a bit of a panic and had no idea what to do.
Wankers is an understatement.. They still are refusing to do my risk assessment (part if the reason doctors/midwives don't want me to go back yet) as I work in the community in healthcare so not exactly 'safe' without a risk assessment...

MrsNM · 12/01/2015 22:17

Deeply, cranberry juice by the bucketload did wonders for me, meant I needed a wee 24/7 but definitely did the job!

willywallace · 12/01/2015 22:27

Rennies might help with the bloating? Not sure about constipation though short of being a bit naughty and downing a strong coffee!

Fleurchamp · 12/01/2015 23:32

Prunes! I have 3/4 a day to keep me regular. Tip courtesy of mumma champ Smile

DH is away with work and I cannot sleep even though I am exhausted Sad

lildottie · 13/01/2015 00:09

also agree about email mrsnmand that they sound like the wankers I used to work for

MrsNM · 13/01/2015 00:30

Worst thing I ever did was move to this company.. They've always been terrible when it comes to looking after their staff so I did expect them to be awkward when I told them I was pregnant.. It's this attitude that got me worried when I was told they wouldn't discuss mat leave and the paper work until I go back.
Will definitely send an email in the morning, atleast I've got myself covered the, so thank you! Smile

DulcetMoans · 13/01/2015 05:03

Yeah, get it in writing mrs. You know the law, even if they don't. If you've notified them in writing it's their obligation to do the right thing! Any failure is fault on their part.

I have relied on rennies for a few weeks now due to heartburn deeply, could be worth a shot but they do take an hour to work. You almost need to know you will bloat before you've bloated! Never got a cure for the constipation but it did get better if that helps?! Treat ever poo as a celebration!

I'm so lonely. Not enjoying myself really. I know I am a right pain and should be grateful and blah blah blah but the fact is I would rather be at home. Colleagues here are not as interested and eager as I think they should be and they have just ditched me for lunch - so much for Malaysian hospitality!

DulcetMoans · 13/01/2015 05:04

It told me it hadn't posted that! Lies!

Sorry for double post.

ZylaB · 13/01/2015 06:55

Aww dulcet big hugs!

laurenamium · 13/01/2015 07:37

deeply I would say water for constipation and bloating- especially bloating! Drink all the water, if you think you've drank enough drink another glass Grin you'll be peeing like a race horse mind you! That and a 30 minute brisk walk every morning sorted my constipation right out!

Early start here today at work but its an easy one so I don't mind. I went to see a friend last night for a catch up it was lovely. Also have set a date for my baby shower Grin I didn't have one with DD so I'm quite looking forward to everyone getting together!

dulcet I'm sorry you feel lonely! How long are you there for?

Fleurchamp · 13/01/2015 07:49

Sorry you're feeling lonely Dulcet hope you'll be home soon.

I have barely slept. Don't know why but I just could not get off to sleep. I feel so tired and a bit weepy now Sad

I so want to call in sick but I won't as I'm not ill and just need to pull myself together.

mountaingirl01 · 13/01/2015 07:55

Ah dulcet that's pooey.

Deeply, having the same issues, but years of dodgy bowels here, senna is safe in pregnancy, and Rennie's before you eat as the others recommend. I had never heard the cranberry juice trick, I will def be trying that one!

Fleur, do it. Throw a Sickie!

LaLa5 · 13/01/2015 08:05

Morning! I was told senna not ok in pg have I got that wrong? Fybogel worked for me when I had my epic poo problem at 7 weeks. It's fine in pg.

Deeply - drink water. Lots of it. It will help. And take walks to help work any wind out. Welcome to pg glamour!

Hope you're ok dulcet. Can you take yourself off and do something you enjoy?

I didn't sleep well. One nostril blocked the other massive nose bleed at 4am.

Horse sale goes through today, I'm meant to be going over to say goodbye :(

LaLa5 · 13/01/2015 08:06

My face is stuck to pillow with drool. Need to be at work on 54 minutes. This is not good

Pisghetti · 13/01/2015 08:25

Tsk La you part timer - I'm already in work (but then I slope off at four...). Hope it goes ok saying goodbye to the horse Sad

How long are you there for Dulcet?

Deeply I'm in the water and dried fruit camp. Relieving the blockage seems to work on the bloating for me too.

Zyla hope there's no rush - you're my buffer! Once BabyZ is here, then I start to panic....

Had a surprise visit from DP last night - he'd left his house keys at mine. Always nice to see him n'all but it meant I got shuffled over from my side of the bed again. Cue knocking my glass of water over in the wee small hours (third time now - I roll onto the bedside table because I'm on the wrong side!) only I managed to somehow hook it so it fell onto the bed rather than the floor. I must have been tired as I just tutted and went back to sleep. Was a bit of an unpleasant surprise waking up to very wet pillows a few hours later.

Remembered cake today and my pelvis is far less achy. I may be a more pleasant colleague to share office space with today Smile

Envy at the holiday talk too. We might be doing a caravan trip and also a visit to the Scilly Isles this year. Not exactly exotic!

willywallace · 13/01/2015 08:26

Aw La, that's not what you need when today is hard enough with the horse sale. Thanks

Can't believe they ditched you for lunch Dulcet. How long are you there for?

Lil thank you for advice about drinking more. It wasn't half as bad last night.

laurenamium · 13/01/2015 08:31

Thinking of you today la Thanks

mountaingirl01 · 13/01/2015 09:05

? Today la

ChatEnOeuf · 13/01/2015 09:07

Deeply Raisins and water did it for me, as well as walking a fair bit. I've been a horrible windbag since about 6 weeks though. Glam, this pregnancy lark :) Senna is safe, but they recommend lactulose as first line from recollection.

Aw Dulcet I can't believe they just left you Sad - how long until you're home?

Hope today is OK La.

Pis surely if he's staying at your place, you get to decide on the bed sides. I would fall out of bed if I was on the wrong side!

MrsNM that sounds awful. Definitely get things in writing. There may well be a maternity policy on t'internet that you can access - play it by the letter and you should be covered. But you're only legally obliged to inform them by 25 weeks I believe - MW will issue the MatB1 before then.

Docs later for a belated 16w appt. App reckons baby is now the size of a turnip. Nice thought.

mountaingirl01 · 13/01/2015 09:08

Bnf says small doses of senna ok in first trimester.
Just remembered deeply. ..peppermint!

Pisghetti · 13/01/2015 09:25

You'd think so wouldn't you Chat Hmm when I first met him he slept on the correct side. Turns out he sleeps closest to the door, regardless of which side that is. LTB?

I am four navel oranges this week which is just silly. However, my book says the baby is the length now that it will be at birth - she just needs to chub up!

Fleurchamp · 13/01/2015 09:35

I didn't realise you didn't live together pis are you planning to once your baby arrives (feel free to ignore me, I am very nosey).

I made it to work but can't actually bring myself to do any of it. I have a lot of stressed out clients at the moment who take it out on me. I just want to hide for fear that I will shout back

I am not good on little sleep.

Hope today goes well la Flowers
