Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 19th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 36th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates! It's a bit quiet at the moment, but with all these upduffed viroids hopefully it won't be for long!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

So, roll call below please, viroids!

Getting a nursing chair for nursery and so if I have Moses basket in room then I can do that til baby grows out of it then move to nursery. If we need him/her in room for longer I'll sort a solution

willywallace · 12/01/2015 06:57

Aargh crap night's sleep again. I am not going to cope once baby is here. It's two degrees, blowing a gale and I'm having to sleep with the window open and still sweat all night! Can"t have the room this cold with a baby though. Also why is my toddler awake already? Humph, today I will mostly be grumpy.

LaLa5 · 12/01/2015 07:05

How are you feeling wil?

Windy here too

laurenamium · 12/01/2015 07:14

Another one very Envy of all of these holidays! No holidays for me, this year at all I don't think. We will have a staycation in the 6 weeks holidays again but nowhere sunny Sad babies are worth it though Wink

laurenamium · 12/01/2015 07:21

I almost forgot! I think DP has managed to put himself off doing the deed Hmm he swears blind he could feel a curve through my vaginal wall that wasn't there before, I said it might be his head...half joking as I had felt really low down digs (not even sure it's possible) and so now he's disgusted with himself and is panicking Grin

It's inconvenient though as the only cravings I've had this pregnancy apart from prawns early on is sex! Annoying too considering I'm still not talking to him!

LaLa5 · 12/01/2015 07:28

A well timed blow job needed Lauren?

We still haven't dtd since getting pregnant. 14 weeks...

laurenamium · 12/01/2015 07:33

Oh he's not having a blow job I'm still cross at him Grin he will forget I'm sure!

willywallace · 12/01/2015 07:43

I love that you're not talking to him yet shagging him Grin .

Feel fine La except for being knackered and hot!

mountaingirl01 · 12/01/2015 08:10

Lol to not speaking but shagging, use him for all he's worth Lauren! (Although sorry to hear your still not speaking).

Deeply, I maybe the only person in the world but I am praying for ms, every bit of nausea I have I analyse! I want the full wackof pregnancy signs this time please!

Talking about holidays.. Don't shoot me viroids.. chat you went skiing with dd right? I'm due to go in 2 weeks, it was a present from dh when we mc. I plan on skiing, just taking it easy on reds/blues etc. Please all tell me I'm not being insane? If I truly thought I wasputting my bean at risk I wouldn't think about it, but I'm a confident skier, plan on stopping the second I feel tired, won't do the crazy stuff I usually do... And surely can't be that different to running around a&e like a headless chicken with people/trolleys banging into me? I need something to take my mind off the waiting!
Oh and mil/fil are coming. Not sure how I feel about that, but it's certainly going to be tough to hide not eating sausage drinking wine Hmm

Fleurchamp · 12/01/2015 08:19

Will have to think re nct. My hospital offers a two hour class only, the nct one is 20 hours!
I start pregnancy yoga this week, will suss out the ladies in the class and then make a decision I think.

laurenamium · 12/01/2015 08:30

mountain I don't really know much about skiing but I carried on riding horses until about 18/20 weeks. Is it the falls that are the risk? How likely are you to fall forward onto your stomach? When I came off the horse they weren't interested unless I landed on my front (which luckily I hadn't)

cookielove · 12/01/2015 08:43

Willy I think I will as it can't hurt to try :)

deeply I had no morning sickness, lots of nausea though.

DulcetMoans · 12/01/2015 08:50

Well I'm here at hotel. Checked in, had a nap and a swim. Was a mess on the plane - crying and snot everywhere. Hostesses fussing over me with water and tissues. This was getting on the plane, hadn't even gone anywhere. What a mess!

I am still considering NCT fleur. Does sound expensive your way though - mines £183 I think. Said I have to 23rd to decide.

Did I miss you arrive mountain? Sorry if I did! Get on in here and tell us about sickness and worries.

No shagging here either la. I want to get back into it but not sure how really. Still a bit scared. He's really good about it though, barely mentioned.

No punishment blow job then lauren? Is he back home?

ChatEnOeuf · 12/01/2015 08:59

Morning Viroids :)

Widdly we should definitely meet up for waffles - it's school holidays then, so the munchkin will have to come, but she's mostly harmless...

Skiing at this stage should be fine, Mountain. Much safer than ED! I did mornings only when I went when about 9ish weeks with DD, easy (wide :) ) reds and blues - no funpark, but I took some excellent videos. Uterus is still hiding in your pelvis so is well protected even if you do take a tumble. I remember doing an O&G job meeting a lady was a ski instructor, she had kept going until the season ended, when she was 24 weeks Shock - apparently it only got tricky towards the end as her centre of gravity shifted. Hardest bits for me were not having pate on toast at breakfast, and not skiing after gluhwein with the floodlights on...

Our NCT was £180ish, but that was four years ago, it was nice for meeting people (I didn't learn much) but I found the other parents on the course had very different parenting styles to me (very Gina Ford) so we drifted apart once mat leave ended. This time round we're doing a refresher course for 'parents already but the first time in Belgium' - sounds ideal and only 80 Euro.

Cookie I'd change it all at once too - rather than risk just getting him settled into the new house, and then moving him into a different room. We put DD's carry cot inside her cot for a couple of days to ease the transition. I have no idea if it worked, her sleep has always been shocking. Takes after her father Angry Grin

mountaingirl01 · 12/01/2015 09:09

Thanks chat- my thoughts exactly, as dh said at this point the only time I could hurt the bean is by breaking my pelvis at which point I may have other worries! I am so going to miss the vin chaud though!

Dulcet- where to start with the worries! Currently still pant checking every 20minutes and plan on begging gp for weekly bloods to check hcg levels are rising!

Pisghetti · 12/01/2015 09:17

Hopefully you won't feel as hot once the baby has arrived Wil?

I am another one who is mostly grumpy today. I feel on the verge of tears for no good reason whatsoever.

I forgot to get a cake too (I'm off on my birthday so promised I'd bring a cake in today Shock )

La I have an awkward space at the side of the bed too. The room isn't a bad size but it has a difficult layout so there's nowhere else for the bed to go. I've already told DP he'll need to switch sides of the bed for the Moses basket to go in as the radiator is on the other side. This works for me as he's taken to sleeping on my side. I don't think he realises I'm serious! It'll have to go at the end of the bed otherwise.

I went to see the GP about my pelvis which was a waste of time. The midwife also didn't help much but suggested I could self refer to the physio. I did that and attended a 'PGP clinic' which was all advice - no treatment. I was offered a pair of crutches but didn't feel like they were necessary (I feel differently today.....). I bought a support belt off Amazon which does provide a little relief if I'm on my feet a lot but I forgot to pack it to take to DP's and hence spent a day walking around town yesterday without it which completely messes me up. It'll be ok again after a couple of days in the office. I was given exercises to do at the clinic which I haven't been doing Blush so it is a good reminder to pull my finger out.

lildottie · 12/01/2015 09:35

wil dh turns into a furnace at night if he hasn't drunk enough water. are you getting enough fluids?

RPopz · 12/01/2015 09:38

Glad you arrived safely Dulce Smile Were you flying alone?

La - you know you can rent a bednest, £99 for 6 months? Cheaper than buying and its not cluttering up your house once you've done with it! A few people I know from antenatal have bought snuzpods outright though as apparently its relatively easy to make your money back on them on eBay etc x

LaLa5 · 12/01/2015 10:07

Popz I think as we will be hopefully having 2 babies it will be worth paying for snuzpod and bednest is too big for our room. I might end up kicking dh out of room...

Glad you got there dulcet!

Fleur I think 20 hours of antenatal might terrify me! I'm doing daisy birthing so hoping between that and hospital I'll have it covered

Mountain I would go for it!

DulcetMoans · 12/01/2015 10:42

Yeah, luckily popz! How embarrassing if colleagues had seen that display. See if I can avoid it on the way back.

You're so much better at the planning than me la! Most I've managed is a maternity bra so far!

What is Gina Ford? I hear mixed reviews!

Defo ask the GP mountain, worst they will say is no. I still pants check now, not sure that will stop for a longggg time!

How can you forget your own cake pis?! Get thee to the shops!

laurenamium · 12/01/2015 10:57

Yes he's back home dulcet, was only away for the one night while I had some me time. What is a punishment blow job? Grin We have talked it out and I've accepted his reasons although I don't agree with them and we should be moving forward but In struggling a bit. I have a wall up now and he's noticed. Hopefully we will be back yo normal soon!

cookielove · 12/01/2015 11:14

chat Elijah isn't in his moses basket anymore he got to big he is in a chicco next to me crib which is brillant but quite large. So when he goes into his own room it will either be in that (if he isn't sitting up) or a cot!

teejayem · 12/01/2015 11:22

Morning Girls.. Just catching up..

la Rag plug sounds like tampon slang... :P

Fleur ours is £280.. we're in a bit of a corner with it I think as well - the NHS classes at the hospital are early evening and a 45 min drive so not really doable, plus things like Lazy Daisy don't run in our area. I have got a Yoga class that starts in a couple of weeks for the social stuff tho.
Really good friend of mine has a 6Mo DS at the moment (Who I had looooveely cuddles with this weekend) and she is giving me her electric boobie pump and moses basket. I am really keen on the Snuzpod type things too (as oppose to the 900 pieces of furniture MiL thinks I will need Hmm)

Not sure if we'll be holidaying this year - we'd planned on a Caribbean wedding in the summer before I found out I was expecting but now that seems a distant memory! I think we might make a couple of long weekends, but with Mat leave I don't think we can justify splashing out for now. I'm just hoping the weather is nice when Tiny Tee arrives and we can spend some time in the Garden...

I am irrationally snippy today. already want to garotte my boss....

Fleurchamp · 12/01/2015 11:32

DH wants to do all the classes. He is a geek bless him.

We're going to a wedding abroad in May when I will be 31 weeks. Eeek!

I really wanted to get a baby moon in somewhere hot and beachy before then but DH has no annual leave until April (he selfishly wanted Xmas off Hmm) and we are having a new bathroom installed in April which is taking up the holiday fund.

Bit annoying as it was my turn to choose the holiday this year. DH took us trekking up mountains last year Shock not the most relaxing or romantic holiday. I also feel like I have not seen the sun in forever.

We will probably go somewhere in the UK for a couple of weeks with the baby.

TheBooMonster · 12/01/2015 11:57

I'm also a bit Envy about all of these holidays! last time DH and I went away anywhere was our trip to Malta in 2011, We'd been talking about going this year as DD would be more mobile but now we're expecting again it looks like it might be another million two or three years before we go abroad... Did not think that through very well >.>

Argh! Think I must just be having an intolerant day for people today, or perhaps people are just being more annoying than normal. We've got a family wedding on my due date that's 200 miles away and people keep asking if we could come, after all the save the date card was sent out before I fell pregnant... mum jokingly suggested that if bump wasn't here by the wedding maybe I'd come by myself and this is being seriously considered as an option by the rest of the family, I even had the invitation through complete with a slip for making my food order, and the kids aren't actually on the invite... So I'm not sure if they're assumed to be coming or not invited... but either way, the idea of traipsing 200 miles across the country the weekend of my due date doesn't fill me with joy, we'd have to bring hospital bags and a spare carseat just in case O.o and all that traveling with a newborn in tow sounds equally hellish...
