Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 19th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 36th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates! It's a bit quiet at the moment, but with all these upduffed viroids hopefully it won't be for long!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

So, roll call below please, viroids!

I must have missed the butterflies. In fact I think I just lay down on chairs at that airport and tried to sleep!

Boo I don't take my notes anywhere but I would if I was going more than an hour away from home or away overnight. Probably would do that from about 8 months. I can't see me having anything other than a slow, drawn out labour so reckon I'll have time to get them. Also we do live absurdly close to the hospital if that makes a difference.

JuniDD · 11/01/2015 09:20

I never remembered to do that boo. Only bothered if I was away from home for a night. I think they recommend from 37 weeks though. It might say in the book itself.

RPopz · 11/01/2015 09:35

I never did either Boo

Have a great time Dulce - hope the flight is bearable x

WigglyBraddins · 11/01/2015 09:53

La thank you for updating the stats. Your potential TV appearance sounds v exciting. Definitely let us know when it is.

I went back to yoga this morning for the first time in 4 weeks. It felt amazing! So glad I made the effort to set my alarm clock for 6.20 (not sure DH feels the same tho).

DulcetMoans · 11/01/2015 11:39

My travel is normally to London or Cambridge la. This is unusual. I know I should be more grateful and I was excited when it was offered but then the fear taken over. Chilling at airport now though. Security took my um bongo so not happy!

6.20 for yoga wiggly?! That's commitment! Good job you enjoyed it at that time in the morning.

Butterflies not yet confirmed wil, I will report back!

LaLa5 · 11/01/2015 11:49

They took your um bongo!? Outrage!

DulcetMoans · 11/01/2015 11:52

I know! Don't they know who I am?! And in my condition!

willywallace · 11/01/2015 11:54

Ha I've not had one of those since I was a kid! I bet the security man/lady just wanted a quick swig for themselves Wink

LaLa5 · 11/01/2015 13:27

Oh god! Dh has these clippers in the bathroom which he uses to 'tidy himself up'. I occasionally use them when things are getting overgrown.

I just went and used them, not realising he'd removed the guard.

I've got a baldy foof! Blush

Fleurchamp · 11/01/2015 14:52

Ha! Sorry that made me laugh. Bald as an egg?

Reminds me I need to sort out my situation down there, determined to get back into swimming this week.

willywallace · 11/01/2015 14:55

I'd quite like a baldy one La but I'm always too embarrassed to ask. Tried to do it myself once and the result was patchy... Grin

LaLa5 · 11/01/2015 15:15

No it's only a patch baldy which is why it's so awful! It's bald at the front with hair around. My foof has a goatee!

Just went to a baby nearly new sale. Tiny church hall + hundreds of people = awful! Got a fisher price baby gym mat though for £10 so at least it was worth it.

So angry though! I was in the queue to go in and 2 ladies were talking behind me, one heavily pregnant one in her 60s. Conversation basically was

Lady 1 (pregnant) 'I leave buying things as late as possible because of all the things that can go wrong'

Lady 2 'honestly, I don't understand why you'd buy things earlier, it's all the naive first time mothers'

I'm standing there with clearly a quite early bump, listening to this. I felt :(

So insensitive, plus some of us don't have our families around to help us with these things so are just learning as we go.

I turned round and glared at them. Lady 1 saw me and looked a bit ashamed

LaLa5 · 11/01/2015 15:26

*one heavily pregnant, the other was in her 60s! Not a 60 year old preggers woman!

ZylaB · 11/01/2015 15:28

Lol at goatee foof?, DH has been told he's got to help me tidy mine up soon cow I can't see properly and I always miss some otherwise. Romantic huh?

ZylaB · 11/01/2015 15:30

Oooh and we just put up the bedside crib so the cats can get used to it and don't associate changes with baby coming home. She should be here in 5 or 6 weeks, so it's gone up now with tinfoil on the mattress to try and stop them sleeping on it :)

LaLa5 · 11/01/2015 15:43

Exciting zyla! We only have 40cm space at side of bed, need to find a crib that fits!

willywallace · 11/01/2015 15:47

Haha I'm imagining your foof looks like Jafar from Aladdin Grin .

La people have so many bloody opinions from the minute you get pregnant and you will hear so much shit that you may as well just get used to it. People just like to think their way is the right way. I get what they mean in one way but conversely it is really more sensible to space out buying things throughout your pg so you don't have a massive expense all at once. There is no right or wrong way, there is just your way and noone else matters.

willywallace · 11/01/2015 15:57

I think you may struggle to find a crib for that space La, they tend to be quite standard sizes. You could get a moses basket in I'm sure or can you push the bed over any further?

cookielove · 11/01/2015 16:29

la this is 42cm w

ChatEnOeuf · 11/01/2015 16:44

La that's pretty skinny! We used the carrycot from the pram - with a proper mattress. M&P ?Sola or something, just measured it and it's 42cms wide. It would be wider with a stand though.

I think only the superstitious and stark raving mad, have they never shopped with a newborn?? refuse to buy anything until the baby has arrived.

Foof goatee Grin

mountaingirl01 · 11/01/2015 16:52

Teehee roof goatee.

Seems a much better idea to space out the shopping to me. Especially as I'm guessing a packed hall would be even harder to navigate once big bumped. Mind you if I started shopping now it would be a bit precipitous..

lildottie · 11/01/2015 16:57

The only reason I won't start shopping for baby stuff early is because my loft could rival mothercare! Ignore them la, you'll get what you want/need by planning early and spreading it (and be able to look out for when things are in the sale/on offer so save money too) rather than not having everything because you weren't thinking about it all from early on.

as for bald foof, just strip the rest off! be brave!! I used to have hollywood wax but stopped after the girl i had left and noone else was as thorough as she was. at £27 a time I expected them to get it all, not get shy at the back!!

laurenamium · 11/01/2015 16:59

Oh la I hope you glared at her! Angry On your behalf!

Nothing exciting to report here, just muddling on and lurking!

couldhavebeenme · 11/01/2015 17:45

La how rude! None of anyone else's business when you buy things (and it's nice to get something early on, especially with first, it's exciting and makes it feel a bit more real). Also that sounds a bargain, those gym things are expensive.

Not much to report here either apart from having had a lovely bath, feeling a bit rubbish today due to lack of sleep. Hmm

LaLa5 · 11/01/2015 17:57

I do like that snuzpod Cookie! Just have to try to find one that's not £150! I will scour gumtree and the like...

do they HAVE to sleep in your room for six months? My friend has offered to lend us their moses basket. can it sleep in there for as long as it takes to grow out and then move to the cot in the nursery?
