Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 19th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 36th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates! It's a bit quiet at the moment, but with all these upduffed viroids hopefully it won't be for long!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

So, roll call below please, viroids!

Hi MrsNM, welcome. There will be a pop quiz later to check how much you know about us all Wink .

I'd quite like an epidural right now to get rid of my tummy pains. They can come at me with all the needles, I'm a big wuss when it comes to pain.

MrsNM · 08/01/2015 00:20

Uh ohh re-reads every JS thread ever.

I really do hope your feeling better soon though wil
I'm terrible with pain, tantrums and tears without caring who's watching when I'm in pain.. Or getting needles. Labour will be so much fun for me I'm sure

MrsNM · 08/01/2015 00:21

Strike through fail...

JuniDD · 08/01/2015 03:32

congrats mrsnm!

Just to say, though I hated the fact of it, I couldn't fault my week in hospital with DD. Yeah it was boiling and noisy but it was ok and the staff were amazing. I have some special memories of chats with the midwives at this hour and have never felt alone during night feeds cos I know they're all there, all night.

LaLa5 · 08/01/2015 04:48

Morning viroids!

I went to fitmummy exercise class last night for the first time. It was brilliant, totally recommend it! You do lots of weights to build arm muscles and pelvic floor and bum exercises to help through labour and afterwards. Everyone was dead nice and they do social stuff together too which I really want and need as I don't know anyone here. Really recommend it splodge!

I'm feeling it this morning though - just blew my nose and my uterus aches like hell from exercise.

1 more day til scan...come on time!

wil essie and zyla how are you feeling?

Pis definitely something for you - books, box sets, a nice afternoon tea voucher so you can go with a friend?

Essie hooray for dippy eggs!

I got 2 MN secret Santa presents Grin one was a John Lewis voucher, I bought Ewan the dream sheep with it and I'm delighted because it was my first baby purchase. He's sitting on the shelf in the spare room which is soon to be made the nursery. The other was an aromatherapy stick which unfortunately I've had to store away for now as you can't use it in pregnancy. Delighted though, people are very kind!

zyla I'm glad dh is looking after you, not long to go now til you meet your wee one. Must feel like a long wait to you being off for so long but it will be worth it.

Told my loaner she can buy horse and she's gone off to chat to her dh.

I have never been able to stand lush! I can't stand the smell of the place and the products always make me a bit sick. I've always thought I'm weird for this but it seems I'm not so weird!

My new maternity clothes arrived yesterday from Asos. I've got lovely brushed denim skinny jeans that are soooo comfy and look great, a top and dress from mamalicious and leggings and trousers. I feel so much more comfortable in them! Afternoons at work have been difficult as my bump swells up after lunch and I feel uncomfortable in my clothes.

essie our cat is also catface! Horse is angelface (he's anything but an angel but I adore him!). All my animals are collectively 'bum bum'

I've been cheered up by my mum saying she will help me and dh but another house back in Scotland, which means we could go home earlier than expected. Woohoo! I'm so homesick and not enjoying my job at the moment. The pregnancy helps but I don't know many folk here so I'm worried mat leave will be lonely.

Hi mrs! waves I love you know all our stories! Grin congratulations on your pregnancy

I have bupa private but it doesn't have anything in there for maternity. wtf am I paying £21 a month for?!

I really want to be in hospital as short a time as possible. My dm is coming for the birth so I'll have a bit of help when I get home.

Ps I can't sleep

LaLa5 · 08/01/2015 04:50

*buy not but a house

ZylaB · 08/01/2015 06:32

Hey mrsnm congrats and welcome :)

I think I'm ok, apart from worrying. SIL didn't get back to me (grr) but I decided to wait and see mw as she's coming between 10 and 12 today, so we'll see what my bp is then, and I'll get her to test urine and I will also ask her when I should take myself into hospital etc if I'm worried about stuff!

Need to finish cleaning kitchen if I've got people coming round and bed is comfy though!

laurenamium · 08/01/2015 07:11

Congratulations mrsmn when is your due date? Grin

I had the worst nights sleep ever. DD seemed to be up every hour Confused this baby better be a good sleeper!

willywallace · 08/01/2015 07:52

Oh no Lauren, what's up with her?

Good luck today Zyla, hope she reassures you.

Thankfully feeling some kicks this morning as had none all night. MW said they can go a bit quiet if you have a bug or something. Today is most definitely a duvet day. I will be stuck in Peppa Pig hell no doubt to keep the wee one amused.

Great news about moving back home La. Is Mr La up for it too?

laurenamium · 08/01/2015 07:58

Peppa pig hell made me Grin wil! She had a night terror, then needed a drink (that was right next to her Hmm) then just wanted to check I was there, then needed a wee (and didnt just go like normal but cried and sobbed from her bed?!), then she had growing pains. Then the last time she woke me up crying because she was tired Confused she is almost forgiven because she's mostly cute and she made me and DP a card at nursery yesterday which featured mummy daddy and the baby and a lovely picture of daddy doing a poo GrinGrin keeps making me laugh every time I spot it!

LaLa5 · 08/01/2015 08:16

Ha ha ha! Lauren that's brilliant!

Poor wee love sounds like she just got herself in a state. I feel like that after being awake half the night!

My routine:
10pm bed
1am wake up, wee, sleep
2am wake up, wee, blow nose, drink
May or may not get back to sleep for a bit. If so move to 4am. If not repeat wee, nose blow and drink several times
4am wake, wee, nose blow, drink
Usually awake until 6
6am fall in comatose sleep
7am alarm

Wil hopefully you're feeling a bit better and reassured

My house stinks of cat poo - trying to get dh up to deal with it. Cat has diarrhoea

TheBooMonster · 08/01/2015 08:19

Ack! sorry to all the Viroids who had bad night sleep, DD is being fairly good at the moment, though I had to get up with her this morning as DH has a 'terrible' headache that he's worried about turning into a migraine because he still won't fucking see a doctor about it or get his glasses prescription checked ffs So I've dragged my arse out of bed at the horror of him sulking round the house in 'dying duck mode' all day until I let him play on the computer child DD and I are meant to be going out today but if he's at home we can't go because she'll create merry hell, we've got difficulties enough as it is this week as he's on 11-8 shifts so she only sees him in the morning she'll be hell to put to bed tonight having not seen him all day as he's not got up with her

some light willy waving entertainment for you Viroids www.mumsnet.com/Talk/_chat/2276284-Dh-waved-his-willy-at-my-dm-this-afternoon?pg=1

willywallace · 08/01/2015 08:34

Ha I saw that yesterday Boo, very funny!

Computers won't help a migraine. Why doesn't he take the tablets that stop it coming on?

La that's beyond crap when you have to work today. Hope it goes quickly for you.

Poor wee mite Lauren, night terrors must freak her out.

TheBooMonster · 08/01/2015 08:43

wil because he's an idiot, he waits until it's completely taken over his skull and then is confused that ibuprofen doesn't help, I've even got Migraleve in the cupboard and he bypasses it in favour of bloody ibuprofen, I can only assume he enjoys being in pain and a pain in the bum. And he seems to think his wife will end if he's not plugged into he computer all day, but I'm pretty firm, at the very least he's not allowed to use it during the day, sometimes if I'm feeling particularly ruthless he's not allowed to leave the bedroom.

TheBooMonster · 08/01/2015 08:45

I could kill for a chocolate mousse waffle from the waffle house right now!!! Why are all the tasty things banned cries in a heap raw eggs are the bane of my life...

willywallace · 08/01/2015 09:01

What is a chocolate mousse waffle? Even with a sore tummy that sounds tempting. Has he ever tried Syndol? They're for tension headaches, so not full force migraines but much better than than just ibuprofen or paracetemol.

LaLa5 · 08/01/2015 09:04

What's a Waffle House!? Do we have these? Surely not in Sussex, I would have sniffed it out by now!

TheBooMonster · 08/01/2015 09:17

It's a restaurant that serves all of it's fun on waffles it is heaven, but they're only in Norwich and St Albans www.wafflehousenorwich.co.uk/our-menu/ The chocolate mouse waffle is a huge scoop of rich chocolate mouse on a warm sweet bread waffle. I might have to sneak in there tomorrow after I've dropped DD off with mum and have something a bit more bump friendly but none the less waffles!

He literally only takes ibuprofen (and sometimes paracetamol) for it. I expect they're mostly caused by how much time he spends staring at the bloody computer, he has glasses specifically for wearing at the computer but I never see him wear them at home...

EssiesInvisibleLlama · 08/01/2015 09:22

Yes whats waffle house?! I need this!

I had a better night, think antibiotics are working. I set my alarm and got up every couple of hours for wee and drink so didn't get dehydrated, but actually think I'd have been ok if I'd just let my body wake me up when I needed to go. Staying home today just to be sure I've got rid of it. Back doesn't ache now either so think my kidneys were taking a battering too.

Zyla and Wil hope you are both feeling ok today.

La Lol at angleface, mine gets called pooface by others at the yard as he is completely white and likes to use his poos as a pillow at night. Joy.

Now all I can think about is chocolate mousse and waffles.

EssiesInvisibleLlama · 08/01/2015 09:25

Envy no waffle house in Oxfordshire then.

My DH gets migranes too, I can usually tell when he's brewing one as he's monosyllabic for a few hours before more than usual he's had all sorts of treatment and tried different pills from specialists for them, but reckons a combo of paracetamol and ibuprofen is the best remedy. Does make me worry about how many pills he takes when he's got one as he seems to be popping them constantly, but fortunately, he doesn't get them that often.

willywallace · 08/01/2015 09:40

No waffle house here either, we're so deprived.

I used to get migraines but they stopped when I was pg with MiniWil. Have only had one since and that was immediately before mc. Ibuprofen/paracetemol wouldn't touch them at all. Unfortunately don't think getting pg as a cure will be an option for your other halves! Is it gaming he does on the computer?

Glad you're feeling a bit better Essie. I am finding that duvet days aren"t quite so relaxing with a toddler sitting on your back, kicking your head.

ZylaB · 08/01/2015 09:47

I think sitting here worrying about what my bp is going to be will only put up my bp, but I can't work out how not to lol!

I've tidied kitchen and am sat laughing at Jeremy Kyle and got a sample ready for mw.

Hmmmm

la sorry for bad night, you're not allowed to touch cat poo! It's going to have to be DH's job :)

wil glad you've felt some kicks!

boo tell him if he doesn't take preventative stuff and stay away from screens you won't be held responsible for any loud noises then proceed to get dd hyper and let her loose on him Grin

ZylaB · 08/01/2015 09:49

essie glad you're starting to feel better!

TheBooMonster · 08/01/2015 10:04

He works entirely at a computer screen then comes home and plays wow/ minecraft / guild wars/ whatever game is the flavour of the month. I get them too (hence there actually being migraleve in the cupboard), and I can't go anywhere near a computer when one's in full swing so don't know how he manages it short of faking or exaggerating the migraines? mine are at least partially due to my glasses prescription though, I've got two pairs of glasses that are supposedly the same prescription but most defiantly not, and wearing one pair in the morning and the other in the afternoon seems to have solved the problem temporarily, I will eventually go to a different opticians but too much baby stuff to spend money on at the moment and all opticians apart from specsavers seem crazy expensive.

You should all come to Norwich for a meet up at the Waffle House!!

LaLa5 · 08/01/2015 10:06

I know! I cleaned up the vom but left him the big runny jobby Grin that'll get him in training for baby

Essie must be a grey thing! Mine has a green/brown face constantly, I can never get it off!!!
