Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 19th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 36th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates! It's a bit quiet at the moment, but with all these upduffed viroids hopefully it won't be for long!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

So, roll call below please, viroids!

tee, the managers at Lush are all into the sect. It really isn't a nice company at all... I used to love them, until I found out about all the horrible things going on there. This blog is really worth a read: mitheringsfrommorningside.wordpress.com/2013/04/11/the-smell-of-bullshit/

ZylaB · 07/01/2015 13:15

Hey, I've been instructed by DH to do nothing today (just put a wash on but I'm sure that doesn't count and I'm running out of underwear!). Had a rubbish night worrying, then had 2 bad episodes of low sugars, caught and treated them, but waking up bathed in sweat and unable to remember all the words I want to use isn't good!

DH didnt manage to go back to sleep, but I caught up in some this morning, he had to go to work :(

Am feeling better now, sugars are fine and I'm in pjs under duvet in the lounge, DH is getting chippy tea and I've been told to chill out!

wil hope you feel better or it's the start of something exciting!

essie hope the antibiotics kick in soon

la I know it's so hard to sell a loved horse, but you know it's best for him and his new owner sounds like she dotes on him, it'd be lovely if you can visit sometimes too.

pis I had a massage and spa day for my birthday, was lovely but I see that's already sorted. I got a lovely ring from DH for Christmas which was nice as it wasn't baby related at all, also tickets for derren brown in June, so something to look forwards to?

Sorry if I forgot anyone or anything.

RPopz · 07/01/2015 13:26

I fucking HATE Lush.. (irrationally). I shall enjoy reading that fatty!

TheBooMonster · 07/01/2015 14:07

pis if the mother care pjs are the ones with hearts go up a size!! They shrink in length after the first wash but are otherwise fantastic. I'd say some box sets of your 'guilty pleasure' tv series, that way you can spend plenty of time vegetating and feeding in front of the telly when bump comes.

tee perhaps you could compromise, get everything you want to go in the bag together, then get him to pack that stuff into the bag, that's what I'm doing with poor mrBoo, he can't be trusted to decide on the contents of the bag, and he tends to have a 'boy look' when it comes to searching for things, if whatever he's after in the bag isn't on the very top he can't possibly find it...

I am a proud floor hanger, DH tries to sort through it on pain of death grins evil

I love Lush stuff. My sister used to work for them - the staff discount is excellent.

Post birth clothes is an excellent shout for birthday stuff, but don't for get to ask for a commitment to one lie-in a week as well. Also, and as sad and granny-ish as this may seem, a bed cardigan. Entirely useful for keeping warm during night feeds, but if you co-sleep you invariably end up with your arms out of the covers...brrr!

I've got this Mr Men birth sampler to get started on once I've finished my current project for DD's bedroom.

Hope you're feeling better, Wil. I also have fleeting thoughts of disowning DD when she lies down and strops. Usually I just laugh at her though bad mother

teejayem · 07/01/2015 14:26

boo Lol@ 'Boy look' - we have those in our house. I call them a 'Pants don't fit' look. (Long story). But yes, I think we will have to co-shop for the items for the bag, and he can arrange them in said bag (Under close supervision). I've got a while to get him out of th eless is more mindset when it comes to nappies for example, I'm sure he'll change his tune when faced with a poonami.

A work colleague's wife works for Lush too and I agree chat the discount is brilliant. (I've benefited, I can't lie!)

Appreciate the article Fatty - I think unfortunately the 'Home' grown/organic/we love our customers' image certain companies like to portray (Innocent smoothies are ones that spring to mind) are actually masking corporate tyranny like every other business. They're just a more dishonest about it.

Pisghetti · 07/01/2015 14:50

Thanks Boo I've asked for a slightly larger size anyway as I prefer nightclothes a bit looser so fx they'll be ok!

I love Bothy threads kits Chat! I've done a whole stack of their things recently including a Mr and Little Miss Greedy for my fridge and I'm finishing the backstitch for the love heart to go with the love tree for my bedroom. A lie in is a good shout especially as DP doesn't really understand them. I'll also need to emphasise that I mean a real lie in and not one where I get to lie in bed while he engages me in conversation Hmm I have a small dressing gown I use for reading in bed so that'll probably become a more permanent fixture.

DS is famous for the 'boy look'. Fortunately DP is more adept at that sort of thing although he doesn't always seem to understand me. Not sure if it is the accent. Calling grumpily for things with a G&A tube hanging out of my mouth should be quite the challenge!

Pisghetti · 07/01/2015 14:51

Zyla I think DP might run scared if I ask him for a ring Grin but I might have a think about some jewellery....

teejayem · 07/01/2015 15:08

Get some flashcards pis so you can relay orders Bob Dylan Style!!

Seriously unproductive today.. supposed to be writing my appraisal. Whoops.

Pisghetti · 07/01/2015 15:17

Yeah I'm with you on the lack of productivity - I've got 45 mins to finish a huge piece of work. Why am I on here?!

Must not squander the rest of the working day thinking up suitable flash cards Wink

laurenamium · 07/01/2015 16:00

I hope you're having a lovely relaxing and blood sugar levelling day zyla that must be very scary to wake up like that, or are you used to it?

Busy day here but DP is being fab. I like having him off work!

ZylaB · 07/01/2015 16:17

lauren the big thing is waking up! I know I'm hypo and need sugar and always keep something by the bed, it's not nice though as I catch it earlier when I'm awake. Ah well :)

EssiesInvisibleLlama · 07/01/2015 16:20

Bloody hell isn't it awful about the shooting in France. Sad What's happening to the world.

Not had a very productive day here either but have just pulled myself together and cleaned the shower and put horseface to bed. Now I'm going to be all domestic goddess like and have dinner on the table for DH when he gets in cos he did such a fab job of looking after me during last nights drama. Poor man looked terrified.

Seem to be weeing for Britain but no pain so hoping antibiotics are the right ones, Dr did say they'd have to wait for lab to confirm if there was resistance but in the meantime he gave me some to try.

Hope everyone managed to turn their non-productive days around.

EssiesInvisibleLlama · 07/01/2015 16:21

Zyla that does sound scary. How often does it happen normally and does it happen more during pregnancy?

Pisghetti · 07/01/2015 16:37

Essie I had to read that twice before I remembered you meant an actual horse and not DC1/DH!

Hope your plumbing is getting back to normal! I had a UTI a short while before we started TTC which felt quite unlike any I've had before.

Managed to submit my big piece of work! I always do better with a deadline. I am a terrible procrastinator. DS is exactly the same. Might explain why he had to be evicted from my womble in the end....

Hope you're feeling better after a relaxing day Zyla!

The shooting in France is dreadful Sad

EssiesInvisibleLlama · 07/01/2015 16:43

Pis haha! Yes, sorry, I did mean an actual horse, who for some reason gets referred to as horseface most of the time, we also have a cat, who mostly goes by the name of catface. Original.

Yes this UTI feels totally weird. Pain is all in the wrong place and not when I wee but afterwards until bladder starts to fill up again. Strange.

Well done with your piece of work, always feels great when a deadline is met doesn't it!

Those poor people in France, the poor families. It's terrible.

ZylaB · 07/01/2015 16:51

essie I've been keeping my sugars super controlled during pregnancy, so have had a few more hypos, it's dealt with easily enough though...am currently on maoam chews for sugar when needed ;) I know controlled sugars are better for baby so it's worth it :)

I'm currently having a worry, my ribs ache on the left. I've been told upper abdominal pain can be a pre eclampsia sign, but I dunno if I'm just fretting and they're psychosomatic, or whether to go to hospital to be checked out. I'll feel an idiot if it's all ok and I'm causing problems. Also DH won't be home until 7ish and I made him have a crap night last night too! Aargh.

willywallace · 07/01/2015 16:55

I have no idea what has happened in France. Off to check my news app.

God my tummy is so sore. Am lying on couch feeling sorry for myself and hoping MrWil gets back soon.

Hope you're feeling ok Zyla.

EssiesInvisibleLlama · 07/01/2015 16:57

Can you call and talk to someone at the hosp to help decide if you should go in and get checked?

willywallace · 07/01/2015 16:58

zyla if you are worried, at the very least phone mw for a chat. Nothing to feel silly about when you have the complications you do.

ZylaB · 07/01/2015 17:17

I've texted my SIL (again lol). If she says go in, I'll go in, if she says wait and get urine checked I'll see mw tomorrow. Confused

TheBooMonster · 07/01/2015 18:55

essie I had that!! part of the reason it took me almost a week to get it seen to, only gave in because I couldn't physically stand up straight due to the pain when I tried foolishly to attempt 2 hours of bus journeys to work. I dreaded going for a pee because I'd get crampy stabby pains after I'd peed, so DH started bringing me water so I could chug whilst peeing too much information

TheBooMonster · 07/01/2015 18:58

Am I the only freak who wants to stay in hospital with baby for 24-48 hours after she's born? all the forum posts I can see are people who'd hand over their right leg to be able to leave straight after the birth but I like the idea of having medical folk who can reassure me that everything's normal, and people with intimate booby knowledge to help me breast feed, I was desperate not to leave the hospital with DD because I wasn't sure we were feeding right and I was right and they were wrong and we ended up back there for 5 days I'd do anything to ensure that when we left there was no chance we'd need to go back... --and it stems the visitors, I can't deal with there being 10 people in the living room when I'm trying to feed...

KatoPotato · 07/01/2015 19:07

Boo I felt like that before I had DS. Sadly the reality was horrid staff who had no time to help, no privacy to bf as I wasn't allowed curtains closed and every other bed had at least six visitors at any time!

I was uncomfy with plastic pillows and screaming babies, horrid inedible food and DH sent away at 8.40 at night. I was desperate to get home and will push for early release this time!

KatoPotato · 07/01/2015 19:08

Mind you I was kept in for 5 nights because my milk wasn't in. 24-48 I can do at a push!
