Good luck, Turqoise. And have a good sulk about housework. Hopefully the MAU will tell you not to do any!

Tori, a sleeping bag will be absolutely fine by August. We've actually used them more or less from birth with the appropriate fastenings.

piglet81 · 23/01/2015 11:22

Hope you're OK, Turquoise. Thinking of you.

Gingergeek · 23/01/2015 11:59

Hope all is ok turquoise
I've a tendency to overdo things too, was moving DD's furniture last night (early nesting?) and then got a telling off from DH. He's probably similar to yours, a great help really but doesn't seem to "see" the mess!
Anyway, hope all goes ok today. Getting along to see the midwife is definitely best. And glad there are still lots of movements. :)

plinkyplonks · 23/01/2015 12:02

turquoise - Best of luck for today, hope everything goes ok x

leanne963 · 23/01/2015 12:33

My little girl always seems to know when I am worrying! Yesterday she was quite quiet, definitely had little movements here and there but kinda started to worry! But today she is back at it...using bladder as a trampoline and swirling around! I think she goes sideways sometimes cause my stomach feels stretched and I feel kicks in my side!

Belly button - I've never seen the deep abyss of my inner belly button before. It's strange lol

Racheyg · 23/01/2015 12:48

Turquoise I hope you are ok? I feel your pain with the house work oh was off Monday - Wednesday and didn't lift a finger. I shouldn't moan too much as he does do the washing up every now and then. Grin

Taking a trip to mothercare tomorrow to look at cots and double buggies. Not sure whether to get the same nursery furniture as my 18 month old, as they won't be sharing a room. Xx

Turquoisetamborine · 23/01/2015 13:51

I went to see the midwife and she listened to the heartbeat and said all seemed well. She thinks I've had a bloody show which I think means my mucus plug or part of it. She says there's no risk of infection though and to get in touch if I am bleeding red blood like I've cut myself, start having cramps, have reduced movements or feel my waters go. I have to go straight to hospital if any of those things happen and take it more easily.
There has been more slight bloodiness when I wipe since then.
I feel absolutely wiped out and think I might ring in sick on Monday and just put my feet up for a few days. I'm never off sick but I feel like my body is telling me to slow down now.
Hope you are all ok. Thanks for the concern.

leanne963 · 23/01/2015 13:54

Aww glad all is ok turquoise take care of yourself! It's so good the hospital is so supportive! Big hug!!!!

gingerfluffball · 23/01/2015 14:28

Ditto, glad midwife was reassuring turquoise. Putting your feet up and taking it really easy for a few days sounds like an excellent idea.

Titsalinabumsquash · 23/01/2015 14:33

I'm glad you and baby are ok Turquoise, make sure you take it easy, a Monday rest day sounds like a good idea. Smile

Midwife for me today, nothing to report, measuring bang on dates, heart beat 150, bp normal and msu clear.

Dp got a rather unexpected and much appreciated bonus at work today so we're going to book a 4D scan soon. Smile

piglet81 · 23/01/2015 14:46

Definitely take it easy, Turquoise - really glad to hear that things seem OK though. Look after yourself!

Good luck with the Mothercare trip rachey! Might do some pram-hunting this weekend too.

plinkyplonks · 23/01/2015 14:54

turquoise Glad everything's ok x Take it easy now for sake of beanie, no more housework :D That's what DH's are for :)

Racheyg · 23/01/2015 15:42

Turquoise, I'm glad everything is ok. I agree take the Monday off and just relax, no housework or anything.

Tits and Leanne I have never had a 4d is it worth it? I would feel bad getting one done now when didn't with my ds. Silly I know.

Piglet my local mothercare is huge and has a soft play area so I'm quite exciting about going. You know u life has changed when u find trips to mothercare exciting Grin x

Gingergeek · 23/01/2015 15:47

leanne963 · 23/01/2015 16:05

Rachey ive had two 2d scans where the sonographer has given us a cheeky look on 3d and it is amazing :) to see my little girl drinking and in such a lifelike way was just amazing :)

Chookford · 23/01/2015 16:28

turquoise glad to hear everything is ok, but take it easy from now on, make sure your hubby is pulling his weight re housework and def take some time off work and just chill out you and baby are most important things x

plinkyplonks · 23/01/2015 16:29

3d scan was amazing - had one done at 16 weeks and having one at 28 weeks. Loved all the photos we got, plus we asked for a video of it too which was just magic!

bradders85 · 23/01/2015 16:29

Pleased everything is ok turquoise and thanks for the working link to stats plinky I had been struggling to view them. Nice to see the boy/girl/yellow figures!
I had the midwife on Wednesday and all was well, bang on growth chart.....was concerned my mini egg consumption may have pushed me over! Sent off my urine sample to check for possible infection but hopefully ok. Happy Friday ladies!

Scottishgal78 · 23/01/2015 16:36

Glad everything's ok turquoise I concur with a sick day on Monday and resting!

BeanCalledPickle · 23/01/2015 17:34

On the extra scan front I'd really recommend it. Firstly because it's lovely and secondly because it's good to have another check- certain london hospitals do a 32 week scan routinely as reduced the risk of still birth etc. It annoys me that it's not routine everywhere as yet. If you can afford it then it's a really good idea

KittyVonCatsington · 23/01/2015 18:05

Great news Turquoise but I agree putting your feet up is in order!!!

Nothing wrong with mini egg consumption bradders Wink

A shame my hospital in Woolwich, SE London doesn't do extra scans Sad Love the idea of another one but we are closely counting the pennies at the mo so if not an emergency, will sadly give a miss.

Bloody chuffed it's Friday! Raising a non-alcoholic glass to all the Maysters!!!
