Rachey - that's not true. I've got more than one just by asking at the ticket booth at the station. They didn't ask for proof or anything, though I suppose it's dependent on whether they happen to have any at that moment in time.

Thanks for all the good wishes. Am delighted and starting to get properly excited now. x

Scottishgal78 · 13/01/2015 17:00

Congratulations longest

BeanCalledPickle · 13/01/2015 17:19

Yeah you can def get them at stations. I have about five, appended to every coat!

BeanCalledPickle · 13/01/2015 17:21

Thanks for the info. I'm going to try and pick one up at the weekend. I get dizzy standing in one spot for a length of time even when I'm not pregnant!

BeanCalledPickle · 13/01/2015 18:27

Just get on and say loudly 'please would someone mind giving me their seat'. Whilst wearing badge and sticking stomach out:-) was also going to say try and leave the O2 marginally before the end. Trying to get away from there on a gig night is torture. Five minutes early will save you a lot of time!

Racheyg · 13/01/2015 18:32

Bean- wow I didn't know that you could. That's good that you can esp for weekend visitors Grin good idea having them on every coat.

I have noticed that more people are offering me a seat this time around, maybe I'm bigger ;)

leanne963 · 13/01/2015 18:43

Ahhhh mum Thank you! I too get the tightenings if I turn over in bed, it's as if my stomach takes the full brunt of shifting my body weight!

BeanCalledPickle · 13/01/2015 18:43

I got on the tube when 35 weeks pregnant and everyone jumped to their feet. I was insanely offendedGrin

mumxof3x · 13/01/2015 19:05

No ones ever offered me a seat in any of my pregnancys lol I just must look like ive been to mcds for a big meal lol. Infact one time I got on the bus with my son on his pram and I was 8 month pregnant, I ended up going really dizzy and felt like I was going to faint so I quickly opened the window to let some air onto me it was warm not cold, and this old woman at the top of the bus started grumbling it was getting drafty on her, so a man stormed down n slammed the window shut...so I had to say excuse me but this is public transport and I was entitled to open the window and that I was pregnant and needed to get fresh air before I ended up fainting while my son was in my care. I was so cross.

Doctors was a big waste of time, no checks at all hes just gave me a urine bottle and told me to take a sample in tommorow.

Racheyg · 13/01/2015 19:16

Mum - you poor thing some people are so rude. Very jealous of your small bump thou I'm huge and look like I'm going to give birth any second, maybe that's why I get a seat :)

cuphat · 13/01/2015 19:22

Thanks bean, I appreciate that advice Smile

sbear22 · 13/01/2015 20:02

Hi all!. Just find out I'm team blue! Over the moon Flowers

Racheyg · 13/01/2015 20:10

Bear, congrats on the news. I find out tomorrow x

KittyVonCatsington · 13/01/2015 20:17

Evening all!!

Just have to say how spot on Beans advice re London transport is! Couldn't have put it all better myself!
We Londoners are generally a good bunch and will offer a seat without a baby on board badge so don't worry if you can't get hold of one as they are mostly useful on a packed tube/bus where bumps aren't visible!

Great news on the scans and gender reveals! So lovely to put a sex to the bump Grin

Starting to find my Pilates and workout really tough now. I hope I can keep it up!

BeanCalledPickle · 13/01/2015 20:44

Thanks Kitty. Feel all proud of myself now:-)

Scottishgal78 · 13/01/2015 20:48

Congrats bear

Chookford · 13/01/2015 21:13

bear congrats on your baby boy!

Sunshinesaz86 · 13/01/2015 21:29

Thanks for responses on the hard heavy stomach ladies! Glad it's not just me! It is my first mum so no idea what to expect. Grin

Congrats on the scans and teams blues an pinks so exciting for everyone!

I was waiting for the doctors main seating area to open the other day and one going and one elderly chap had taken to only two seats available neither of which offered me a seat but was only standing for 10 mins, I know my DP and youngest brother would offer any lady a seat young or old and pregnant or not. Guess everyone's different, but it is frustrating if your struggling and they just assume your young and fit to stand or not let u open a window for instance!!

BeanCalledPickle · 13/01/2015 21:35

Yes, and in the doctors you can't really ask for a seat. The young guy could have had something horribly wrong with him!

Sunshinesaz86 · 13/01/2015 21:40

Good point bean I didn't think of that, and I thought it was all about us pregnant ladies Wink. I should also not assume. Smile

mumxof3x · 13/01/2015 22:02

Haha sunshine yes lovely braxton hicks they are, you will probs start to get more of them as you progress.

Great news bear, yay to team blue.

Rachey good luck for tommorow :)

Ohhh tommorow is D day= dad day...im sooo nervous. But it will be a relief to get it in the open and i dont see what the fuss will be about because he will know for a fact he will love baby boy, he adores my 3ds's to moon and back

Sunshinesaz86 · 13/01/2015 22:13

Good luck mum sure u won't need it and as u say he'll adore ds4. Grin

mumxof3x · 13/01/2015 22:33

Thankyou sunshine :)
