twinkle congrats on your baby girl.. We need some more!

ellstor congrats on your Good scan news, I'm team yellow too!

scottish congrats on your baby boy!

I've been shopping this morning whilst being kicked in the Fanjo repeatedly which was lots of fun! Must have had 12 wee stops! Blush 21wks tomorrow

leanne963 · 10/01/2015 16:37

Hey due date friend Chook Tomorrow we can say '19 weeks to go...' i like the idea of counting down ha! Ouch that sounds painful! I've been getting the sharp twinges in the fanjo which feels like a spasm, but i have had this since about 9 weeks so doubt she is the one doing this to me!

Chookford · 10/01/2015 16:44

Yes sounds great to say we have less than 20wks to go doesn't it leanne although my dd was 8days late so fully expecting this one to be too!

Blondie87 · 10/01/2015 16:59

Great to hear everyone's had positive scan experience so far. Congrats ellstor, twinkle and scottish! Spent about two hours in Mothercare looking at pushchairs and can't believe the choice/things to consider involved! So far I like the Mama's and Papa's Urbo 2 and the Bugaboo Cameleon 3- does anyone have experience of either of these?
Hope those with aches and pains feel better soon. I've found a combination of antenatal yoga and a pregnancy pillow have helped.

TwinkleTee · 10/01/2015 17:17

Thanks Ladies!

chook and leanne I'm also due date buddies with you!

Must be something about today as little bean has kicking the absolute bejaysus out of my cervix all afternoon...

Got a delivery of mothercare sale items yesterday... weenie little body suits made me go all hormonal... eeeeeeeee! Grin

Chookford · 10/01/2015 17:45

twinkle high five for another 24th may duebie!! Ahh baby clothes are just adorable!

Scottishgal78 · 10/01/2015 17:46

Congratulations ellstir and twinkleGrin

leanne963 · 10/01/2015 18:27

Aww twinkle yay!! What does the cervix kicks feel like?! I am absolutely paranoid about having an incompetent cervix so get a little worried if I feel pressure down low....

Nursery furniture is turning up on tuesday and we went round measuring up where we would like to put everything and I think it's gonna be a squeeze lol

Turquoisetamborine · 10/01/2015 18:41

This baby will be our second and last. We had to have IVF for this one and wouldn't go through that again. We won't use contraception though so I'll just leave it up to fate.
We like our holidays and nice standard of living which would be harder with three or more. We were considering private education before I got pregnant this time. We might still do this as they will be 7yrs apart.

Turquoisetamborine · 10/01/2015 18:42

Also glad others are going for a wee loads. I must get up 7-8 times in the night. I can't wait for my catheter after my section so I can have a good nights sleep.

Sunshinesaz86 · 10/01/2015 18:50

Evening ladies. Congrats scottish ellstir and twinkle fab news!

I also went to mothercate today and spent a fortune we got out travel system went for the silver cross wayfarer. In lime green!!! We also got a Moses basket and cot bed! So made a massive start on our list and a massive dent in our bank but all good investments! blondie we also must of spent about 2/3 hrs today too, good luck with your choice!

TwinkleTee · 10/01/2015 19:14

leanne cervix kicks feel like.... erm.... (incoming TMI klaxon).... when certain "baby making positions" are a bit... uh... intrusive Grin

leanne963 · 10/01/2015 19:16

Oooooh I got ya twinkle haha oh i would easily recognise them then!!

applecore0317 · 10/01/2015 21:15

where are everyone's due dates, I was a bit late to the May threads, am due May 27th :) was in aldi earlier and felt like I was getting swift kicks to my bladder... not great when desperate for a pee..

lol Turquoise after having to spend three days with a catheter in in December due to my uterus being incarated in my pelvis and squishing everything stopping me from peeing, I can happily say that I would rather have the interrupted sleep

Turquoisetamborine · 10/01/2015 22:31

apple noooooo I loved my catheter last time I had a section. I didn't want them to take it out. I only have one kidney so wee a lot even when I'm not pregnant. I get tired of it.

My due date is 14th May but having a section 7th may.

Kyz · 10/01/2015 23:17

Evening all :) Scan on monday, 9am so bright and early!!

Pup is a longhaired white GSD :) he's very lovely, but a pup nonetheless so some things such as toilet training are hard work esp with a toddler about! Pup is making progress though and is only 9 weeks old so it's to be expected. He's settling in well thankyou aberjen, he is quite nippy but then he is only young and he does listen when he's firmly told. I can post a picture on the facebook group if anyone wants a peek at him?

I've not bought anything bar a clothes set that I love, it's aqua and grey and white, I think i've posted a picture on the facebook group? if not I will do, I adore it!

lovely scan pics leanne!

hope you feel better soon just

glad your scan went well D0tt

congrats on a good scan scottish and your little boy :)

bless you Tits I had hormonal crying last time, and big chunks of THE RAGE this time - I did have alot of crying earlier on but it seems to have dried up recently

fab re the good scan ellstor

congrats on your scan and little girl twinkle

apple mine is may 28th

Hope the weather is a bit better tomorrow!

Chookford · 10/01/2015 23:29

apple I'm 24th May... But fully expect to go over again like I did with dd!

longestlurkerever · 11/01/2015 00:44

Ah some late Mayers. I have been feeling quite behind as my edd is 30 May but actually all our 20week scans have been quite close together - maybe Christmas postponed some. Mine is on Tuesday. Major scanxiety.

I don't think I have cried this time (though yy to the rage!) But with dd I remember crying at a pic of Kate Middleton in her wedding dress. That is so unlike me it's not funny so I did a test straight away!

Fluffeh · 11/01/2015 06:54

Joining the hormonal crying club. I cried at kirk and Beth's wedding on corrie haha!
I also had a power strop at dp yesterday because he wanted to travel further away than usual and come home after dd's bedtime meaning either id have to carry her to her bed or let her stay up. Both of which I hate to do. The carrying because of my spd which is horrible and the staying up because it makes her grumpy the whole next day.
In the end he didn't go that far and was home for her bedtime hooray. I did make it up to him by putting a casserole in the slow cooker.
I am so unprepared with baby stuff. I have the pushchair left from dd if she's a good walker by then, I have Moses baskets but no mattresses, 2 sleep suits, and that's about it.
Although we have a cot bed that I turned into a little bed last week for dd, I'll need to get her a single bed or buy a new cot for the new baby.
I have at least 17 weeks so I'm sure we'll be ready but it doesn't feel like it yet.

jazzyjenbo · 11/01/2015 09:26

MILESTONE DAY!
All of the 31st Maybees have now reached the 20 week 1/2 way point! We are all on the countdown! Yay

Sunshinesaz86 · 11/01/2015 10:10

Yey to that jazzy is suggest saying cheers with sme fizz but my OJ will have to suffice.

So exciting for everyone to now be on countdown! Grin

Glad DP ended up staying close by fluff

Good luck for your scan on tues longest

Your pup sounds cute kyz with work we haven't got enough time for a dog but I do love dogs!

turqoise we are kind of due date buddies due on the 14th, but you'll have your lovely little bundle of joy a whole week early.

mumxof3x · 11/01/2015 10:15

Congrats on the great scans ladies :)

My first was induced at almost 2wk over and my second started spontaneous labour on my due date and my 3rd came at 38+0 after been in labour all week. So you never know ladies you may not go over with your seconds if you went over with your first :)

Im always having emotional crys lol sometimes I dont even know why.

I bought my first thing yesterday...a white changing unit, now I am going to get furniture to match and decorate the bedroom again. Seen what pram I want and moses basket etc

SmileyScooby · 11/01/2015 10:46

Hey all, just a quick checkin! You've all been very busy from fhe sounds of it! We haven't been to look at any furniture or pushchairs etc yet, think feb half term is when we will do that as need to declutter before go buying things (that's a big job in itself!) I have been looking online at things though and really like this crib for when baby is in with us m.johnlewis.com/mt/www.johnlewis.com/john-lewis-anna-glider-crib-natural/p231463970#page_loaded

Am being given a second hand Moses basket which we are going to have downstairs and will get a cot bed for nursery.

No idea re car seats/pushchairs. Was thinking maxi cosi car seat (but dunno which!!) as I believe they are fairly generic re attaching to pushchair frames(?!) I love the look of the cosatto giggles but after the watchdog articles about it am bit nervous. Quite like the style of the mothercare Elea www.mothercare.com/Maxi-Cosi-Elea-Pushchair---Modern-Black/565531,default,pd.html

Arghhh so confusing!!

longestlurkerever · 11/01/2015 10:48

Yeay to half way! X

SmileyScooby · 11/01/2015 10:51

Darn it fat thumb hit send!
Am also wishing that my "b-shaped bump" would become more D shaped, my fat roll from before has been shifted up with my internal organs so I have got 2 bumps! One above and one on/below belly button! Am also feeling guilty that only exercise I'm doing is 15-20 min walk around the block, really want to do something else but swimming centres can only go super early or late at night, can't go around 4/5pm as swim schools grrr and have cancelled gym membership as didn't go pretty much whole 1st trimester as was too tired. Any suggestions as to what I can do? Is wii fit ok? I know I shouldn't be worrying about appearance etc whilst pregnant but don't want a mountain to climb re fitness/weight after (although I've got a horrible feeling it will be!!)
