Another one with scan today! Even though I had one only a week ago it doesn't stop me feeling sickly nervous about this one today!!

broody I found eating melon helped me as it's obviously mostly water, it went down ok, and didn't give me that bloated feeling that drinking water does

Number3cometome · 30/12/2014 09:52

Eskimo Good luck!

Thepurplegiraffe · 30/12/2014 09:55

So many scans today, very exciting, keeping my fingers crossed for you all! Mines tomorrow, just want to know everything is ok now.

Littledragon I love all that stuff like Star Wars and X Men. You just have to be brought up with it all. We are 3 girls and 1 boy and we all doSmile

I have told DH that he can decide if we find out this time, except he can't even make up his mind about that. I am in the same situation as Broody, we have a dd already and I really don't mind this time. A boy would be a new experience and a girl would be practical in terms of stuff we have and nice for dd. Good either way.

NotPennysBoat · 30/12/2014 10:07

Checking in on the new thread! Good luck to those with scans this week, mine is a week today and I'm nervously excited.

We didn't find out the sex last time, and won't be finding out this time either. With DS it was lovely for DH to hand him to me saying "it's a boy!", and apparently my first words to him were "hello XX (name we'd chosen for a boy)". It's all a blur in my memory!! I am genuinely not bothered what we get this time, although my pregnancy has been so different already I'd guess at a girl.

Number3cometome · 30/12/2014 10:30

Sorry not sure why it keeps coming out like that!

Ceejay14 · 30/12/2014 10:36

Good luck for all the scans today and tomorrow. I'm jealous as I have to wait until a week on Thursday.

We'll be finding out the sex of the baby as I'm too excited/impatient to wait Smile

WantToGoingTo · 30/12/2014 10:57

Pls can someone add in my scan dates as I can't seem to do it!! 8w was on 18 dec and my 12w is on 9 jan :)

I now have a tiny sleepsuit in the house that arrived yesterday from my sales shopping. First baby item! It is so hard to believe that a little body will fill it in a few months :)

BadIdeaBear · 30/12/2014 11:19

I'm really feeling this new thread!

Good luck to all with scans coming up! My next one is next Tuesday - looking forward to it!

Number3cometome · 30/12/2014 11:28

WantToGoingTo Do we have the dates right for you? Due date 1st July?

I've put your scan dates in but you are 13+6 already and your 12 week scan is at 15 weeks? or do I have total baby brain haha x

JoY007 · 30/12/2014 11:36

Morning Ladies, thanks for the new thread fab! Good luck to all the ladies with scan today xx

Butler4 · 30/12/2014 11:47

Hi all good luck to everyone having a scan today. Can someone be so kind to change stats for me please? Not able to do it on phone. My new edd is 3rd July aftery scan last week. Thanks

Overtiredbackagain · 30/12/2014 11:48

Good luck to those having scans today - mine is finally on Friday - nervous and excited!

Thanks for the constipation relief advice - I'll try some Fibogel, although in the past I have used Senna with no problems - can I still use that? It doesn't say not to Confused

And whats the lark with bloody maternity clothes?? Do they think once you're pregnant you have either (a) no fashion sense and/or (b) vast sums of money IF you want something remotely nice????

itsnotthatdeep · 30/12/2014 11:55

marking my place Grin we are a chatty lotShock

Littledragon13 · 30/12/2014 11:57

I've found topshop, H&M and ASOS to be the best for maternity clothes that aren't frumpy and boring. I'm mainly living in leggings and long jumpers at the minute and providing we have a good summer, I'm just going to buy a few maxi dresses in bigger sizes to get me through the last few months of pregnancy

Number3cometome · 30/12/2014 12:05

Butler i've changed you.

I'm sticking with stretchy skirts and leggings at the moment.

I have a pair of fat jeans at home which still fit haha.

I am determined not to wear anything too tight as I already have bad stretch marks from prev pregs and I don't want them to get worse!

Pipbin · 30/12/2014 12:05

Over I was told not to use Senna after embryo transfer.

Bustherb · 30/12/2014 12:18

Well I've just come back from my second 12 week scan. Baby looks good although there was no midwife there to take any measurements or do the Down's testing. The lady couldn't tell me if the baby is measuring right or anything Hmm got another scan booked for Monday , 3rd time lucky hay xx

Littledragon13 · 30/12/2014 12:22

herb that must be so frustrating for you! Fingers crossed for third time lucky x

Bustherb · 30/12/2014 12:27

Thanks little, I know we get another scan and more pics but I can't help but feel upset about it Hmm I don't think it's helping that I've just been to see my 3yr old nephew after him having an operation ConfusedConfusedConfused xx

Number3cometome · 30/12/2014 12:28

Bustherb

What kind of rubbish service was that? Is that at the hospital?

Normally the sonographer does it all?

But hey grab more pics if you can!! x

Bustherb · 30/12/2014 12:33

Yeah at the hospital , nhs. I know, I went on the 18th only to be told I was too early for the testing and rebooked for today and she couldn't even tell me anything. She said I can only give you the picture, not reassured or anything even though we saw a heartbeat and spine etc. so we're booked in for Monday when I'll be 13 weeks 6 which is the last day we can have it done, feeling really stressed about it all now because I keep thinking what if there isn't a midwife there and can't do it etc etc ConfusedConfused xx

Leela5 · 30/12/2014 12:44

Overtired I think senna is a no during pg but fybogel is definitely ok. It sorted me in a few hours.

Number3cometome · 30/12/2014 12:45

Bustherb

Please try not to worry - they can do the same test in the second trimester, and I believe you can have the test up until 14+2 or something.

My scan is at 12+5 (according to early scan) which is 13+5 according to my dates.

It's just annoying they cannot be organised, but at least you go to see baby today Smile

Bustherb · 30/12/2014 12:55

Oh that's reassuring to know number. When is your scan? I can't beleive how much the baby had grown, we saw the baby's fingers and everything it was amazing xxx
