Congrats hexy lovely news! Xmas Grin

Smugnogplease · 22/12/2014 18:33

Congrats Hexy!!
I had my gender scan today, it was lovely to take my smallest dd along to meet the baby, I asked for the sex to be written in and envelope so dp and I could open together and I'm so glad I did as it was really lovely, intact even if he'd been at the scan I think it was nicer to find out together on our own. He was totally chuffed that our first( and only) baby is a BOY! Making things nice and even here with 3 of each!
The sonographer even showed us a bit of 3d which was totally bizarre, will post a pic if I can

Elizabethnaylor1980 · 22/12/2014 18:33

hexy yay... I can't wait to find out what our jellybean is, I do have my suspicions but tbh as long as totally healthy we will be ok.

Congrats hexy and smug!

I too have a scratchy throat today and not feeling that great, hope I feel better soon! Also really tired but my lovely toddler is pretty much sleeping through now so not complaining!

Congratulations smug and hexy!

Tranquillity I'm 3.5 weeks into the cold/bug from hell and ensuing sinusitis. I was hesitant about taking paracetamol regularly but my GP reassured me the normal 8 tablets in 24 hours is fine. Managed to get some antibiotics today so I'm hoping to feel slightly more human for Christmas. The one thing I've found has really helped is a saline nasal rinse thing DP had stashed in the back of the cupboard, think you can get them from most chemists.

traceybaybee · 22/12/2014 19:59

Its been a sad day today with events in glasgows george square. I got into queen st station 4mins after it happened. Scary to think what could of happened. Thoughts go out to all families affected so close to xmas and after the clutha anniversary

Tranquilitybaby · 22/12/2014 20:12

Aww lovely Hexy, so exciting! If you have a next VIP slot, there's some beautiful girly clothes on there, just saying... Wink I may have bought one or two things.....

Tranquilitybaby · 22/12/2014 20:13

Oh Tracey how scary. Glad you're on. My thoughts are with their poor peoples family and if the driver makes it, his life will be awful. Terrible x

Tranquilitybaby · 22/12/2014 20:13

Thanks for all your suggestions, I've had a few hot lemon and honey drinks today and made chicken curry for dinner so feeling less bunged now x

Tranquilitybaby · 22/12/2014 20:14

Aww lovely smug, a little boy bless x

traceybaybee · 22/12/2014 20:15

tranquility i was purchasing my ticket at the barrier when i got told to leave the station. Walking round nothing could of prepared me for what i saw, it was horrific. There was debris everywhere. The driver has thought to of had a heart attack at the wheel

Tranquilitybaby · 22/12/2014 20:31

OMG what an awful shock for you. I know I've been reading about it, absolutely heartbreaking and reports say one of the victims may be a baby. SadFlowers

traceybaybee · 22/12/2014 20:51

A tragedy at anytime of the year but 3 days before xmas is an absolute sin Sad

pasbeaucoupdegendarme · 22/12/2014 22:12

It's so terrible, isn't it? It always seems so much worse at this time of year too. I always think of presents that will never be opened, not to mention that Christmas will always carry those memories for these people Hmm

Chookford · 22/12/2014 22:55

tracey how awful for you to have witnessed that... And terribly sad for all those families involved absolutely heart breaking...

traceybaybee · 22/12/2014 23:26

Im just glad that i didnt actually see it happening, seeing the aftermath was bad enough

jazzyjenbo · 23/12/2014 01:20

Smug, fantastic on the blue news... Fab way of finding out together aswell.

Tracey, horrible for you to of witnessed the aftermath, terribly sad.

I've not been feeling great this evening.. Got abit of extra work today and tomorrow but wish i'd not agreed to it now, went to bed with the kids at 8 tonight with tummy ache and horrendous bloating... However i'm now wide awake and joining those awake in the small hrs!

MrsExtraOrdinary · 23/12/2014 07:12

Tracey so sorry you saw what you did yesterday. It's heartbreaking it really is. Thanks
