New thread, as the other one was nearly full! Can someone please post the stats page, as I'm useless with things like that!

Miss see if you can alter the plan a bit? it's difficult when you get in to a routine but you could try and break it by maybe setting your alarm for 5 or 6am and then slowly getting ready, having some breakfast etc?
It's not easy, I have really struggled with my 5am starts since being pregnant and the 2 pees in the middle of the night don't help haha

Joy ahh!! lovely pic!!

Number3cometome · 29/12/2014 11:12

Joy I've updated the stats for you too

Overtiredbackagain · 29/12/2014 11:19

Well officially booked in! Was very strange, third time but they cant decide if I should have consultant led care or midwife due to dd2 measuring small and having to be induced at 37 weeks. If consultant I've to take low dose aspirin every day until 38 weeks and will get scans every 2 weeks from 28 weeks. Last time was such a worry and the vigilance of consultant led care was easing my mind, the thought of not getting that is now upsetting me because I told them for weeks with dd2 that I was small and they ignored me for 3 weeks about it. Box of quality streets is helping calm me down! Ugggh now have to wait a few days to find out what's happening! Sorry for rant!

headlesschicken247 · 29/12/2014 12:23

Purple did I see you have your scan tomorrow and is it at St peters?

Number3cometome · 29/12/2014 12:35

Mrsc020987 how much did DD2 weigh?

You can insist if you are unhappy x

Mrsc020987 · 29/12/2014 12:45

She measured under the fifth centile, 4 pounds 6, but after steroids over 2 days she delivered at 5 pounds 12. Which is just under the tenth centile which was fine, because her birth weight was ok, the midwife thinks I should be ok but she did say the steroids would have helped a lot which should be monitored. Its so annoying I would just rather not have to battle with them to get scans and reassurance, was hard enough to go through it once!

Number3cometome · 29/12/2014 12:52

I can absolutely imagine it must be such a worry.

I was full consultant care and had 3 weekly scans from 28 weeks.

It was reassuring and I think you really need that.

Just push for it, you should really have automatically been referred for consultant care.

Thepurplegiraffe · 29/12/2014 15:40

Headless my scan is Wednesday, is yours tomorrow at St Peters?

Overtiredbackagain · 29/12/2014 15:54

I definitely need to invest in some new clothes, especially for work! My skirt is getting tighter through the day Shock

247babyonthebrain · 29/12/2014 16:12

Hi all, haven't been on in a couple of weeks as was feeling rough but sickness has improved last couple I days and starting to get appetite back! Most of my friends and family have guessed as I was unwell but we got to tell a few friends over Christmas. Been nice to read that most ppl are starting to feel a bit better.

Got my scan Wednesday 7th at St Peters.

10+5 today

headlesschicken247 · 29/12/2014 16:24

Yep got mine tomorrow. Will be happy once I've had the scan. Feeling fairly ropy today. Just want to get it done and then I can start telling people only family really know atm

Ceejay14 · 29/12/2014 16:40

Hi all
I had a test at the docs a week before Christmas and called for results today and was told I need a 'routine chat with the doctor'. Should I be worried or is it likely to be what they say and just a chat about treating what I guess is an infection? Call with doc isn't until Wednesday and brain gone into worry overload .

itsnotthatdeep · 29/12/2014 16:47

hi ladies im on my phone so can add pic, dd was pushed bqck so im due 5/7 and now 13+1. baby is all present n correct NT measurements were normal and got coerced into having all the downs screening.

it was overall quite positive til she mentioned me having a VBAC which im adamant I dont want and OH started making noisesAngry Angry Angry Angry .

looks like my tokophobia and anxiety hasnt quite disappearedWink

my oh is in a complete dream like state and happy. I on the other hand am feeling rather unsupported as I didn't want the screening (it makes no difference to me) and ive made it clear from the start I wanted a c section Sad

Ive spent the afternoon in bed which is a bad sign too

JoY007 · 29/12/2014 16:53

Hello itsnotthatdeep we are due date twins Smile sorry to hear that your wish was not honoured, don't think anyone can force you, if you want a c section go for it. Congrats on the scan et al.

itsnotthatdeep · 29/12/2014 17:09

I noticed Joy Grin

Pipbin · 29/12/2014 17:26

Ladies who have had scan and Downs screening: did you have to have a blood test before the scan? Was it all booked in for you if you requested it from the midwife? I'm 10+3 and I'm waiting for my scan date still.

Bustherb · 29/12/2014 17:29

Pip I was due to have the Down's testing and she scanned me first and was due to blood test after but I was too early so going back tomorrow to have another. I presume she will scan me first again xxx

Naturegirl82 · 29/12/2014 17:31

pip they usually do the scan and bloods at the same time, but it does sometimes vary from place to place.

I've got my scan tomorrow first thing. Feeling ok about it as it is only 10 days since my last scan.

Glad there have been good scan results.

Pipbin · 29/12/2014 17:33

Thanks ladies. DH is panicking but I thought it was all done at the same time.

naty1 · 29/12/2014 18:28

My letter turned up sat after tues appt.
how long ago did you book in?
Probably stuck in post, could be worth chasing up especially if there are day(s) you and dh cant make in the timescale.

WantToGoingTo · 29/12/2014 19:56

pip I have my blood form for downs screening already, thy do it on the day but they say if they are v busy they may ask you to get it done in pathology (where you have to get a ticket and wait in line) so no booking ahead for me! I hope the mw will do it at the appt as otherwise I will be out of work for ages! Path queues where I am can be anything up to an hour or more Hmm

Spent all day shopping today and got some new bras! Was shocked to discover at my fitting I have gone from 34b to 34d Shock I have big bazookas! I have been an a/b all my life! Then got home and promptly slept for 2.5hrs. Now feel v groggy havin just woken up but sure will perk up soon and late night I guess as will take me ages to get to sleep now, ah well :)

Hope you ladies all enjoying last few days off before going back to work an those that have already gone back are havin quiet few days of catching up :)

10+3

WantToGoingTo · 29/12/2014 19:58

pip sorry just reread your message. I saw mw on 18 dec and had scan letter through on 27. I woul ring and check as with Xmas post could take while to come through in the post. They probably booked it straight after your appt but the letter just hasn't got through yet.
