New thread because the last one was giving me "Sorry, this thread is too big to accept new messages".
Onilly - sorry, yes I am sure it's due date - see here - "the Regulations apply to women expecting their babies on or after 1 April 2007.... If an employee's 'expected week of child-birth' falls before 1 April 2007 the old rules will apply."

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Hi everyone - Laidback - congrats on your Boy news That's lovely. Won't get involved in the other debate but would like to second that this thread is for unconditional support only

In the meantime, we can agree to disagree on subjects outside of this thread.

zombiebridepenny · 17/10/2006 09:07

HI everyone, everything has clamed down down and we are friends again, Dp came home 10 mins later rather quite and I had gne to bed. Hormones! its madness, I must say he it was justified he really did push all the buttons but what he didn't know was the fuse is a lot shorter these days! Bump has grown out quite a bit and kicks me whenever I sit forward.

Piffle · 17/10/2006 09:10

I am not falling out with anyone - gawd knows Kitty and I have disagreed on about 300000000 posts this year
But no reason to stop ante natal chats and experienc sharing
Have to say though I was made to feel also exactly how Eidsvold was and my opinion is very similar to Eids.

Rosyspookily · 17/10/2006 09:57

Laidback my dh is jealous of your bargain flights! He'd love to get flights to Pakistan for that.

You guys are really putting me in the mood to find out the sex this time! The hospital have a policy of not saying but apparently will if asked.....

I'm starting to feel very lucky with my spd so far, still just the odd twinge...dreading it kicking in though. I'm trying to keep a balance between staying active and not over doing it but I guess once the chemicals overbalance I'll be doomed again no matter what I do!

divastrop · 17/10/2006 10:18

morning all-just a quick post before i go see my councellor...not that it does any good

jay-congrats on ur scan.i will have a look at ur site later.
kitty-Gloria was due on dec 19th but was born on 6th

i couldnt be doing with reading that thread last night...it was too hard going!

rosy-i sit on the fence on many issues apart from nasty abusive men,as uve probably figured out by now.they are the only threads i will get stuck into and argue with people.

hope you all have a good day

kittythescarygoblin · 17/10/2006 10:40

Piffle and Eidsvold, I am glad that threads can be left in their own places. Nothing that I have said was ever aimed at anybody but the wyatts and their situation. I really don't understand how it is that people can turn things into personal attacks.
The baby is projectile vomiting everywhere and the boys keep losing all their school uniform and now I have to brave good old asda and get stuff ready for kai's birthday tomorrow, sorry tyhat's ds2 who'll be 7.
The girl who helps has been off sick for a few days now so it's even mote chaotic here than usual and I always stay up way past my bedtime

Piffle · 17/10/2006 12:11

Saw my osteo today
My old osteo a lady my age is off overseas, so in her palce a newly garduated young handsome Italian chap.
Wish I'd hsaved my legs, not that I could reach them with back pain but...
Anyway - yes massive sacro iliac inflammation and softening pelvic girdle (???)
He pulled, stretched, prodded and made me cry.
But the pain is less sharp, still there but it has softened and radiates more, not like the stabbing, tears in your eyes normal pain.
ice packs 8 x a day for 5 minutes, then special 30 second stretches afterwards
Pool - do extended walking exercises.
He said he would have done work on my sacro iliac joints, BUT he said I would not be able to walk for 2 hrs afterwards, so he will do that in 2 weeks time.
He did warn it could get a little worse before it gets better - he says not moving the joints OR moving them incorrectly can aggravate...
We'll see atm I love him.

evilanniedividedin2byalargeaxe · 17/10/2006 12:14

Gosh Piffle, that sounds hard going. I have had spd with dd 2 & 3 but could manage it with keeping my legs together (snigger!) and a very attractive elastic belt thing slung low round my hips. I'm glad the osteopath helped though.

foxinbubblesletsmaketrouble · 17/10/2006 12:39

Piffle - ouch! you poor thing, sounds really painful.

Diva - hope your appt goes well. I could do with a counsellor at the moment to have a good cry with!

Have made an appointment to see our MP about the Tax Credits claim but can't see her until 10 Nov and need to send my appeal form back this week.

Anyone have any advice on good grounds of appeal? I've read all the code of practice etc but anyone have any tips on what works/doesn't with these people (I mean ejits?)

evilanniedividedin2byalargeaxe · 17/10/2006 13:16

Hello everyone. I wanted to come on and moan. None of my problems are major or serious, but I have been back to feeling sick as a dog the last few days (despite the ondansetron), PUPP has flared up really badly and I just feel SHIT.

The itching is making me have a really short fuse, so I have really been yelling at dd 1 & 2, and even getting cross and telling off dd3 who at 15 months can't exactly be expected to know what I'm on about.

Someone be nice to me!?

Rosyspookily · 17/10/2006 13:24

EvilAnnie poor you. Try and pamper yourself a bit.
Piffle that sounds great, as in helpfull for you.
And yummy dr who knows his stuff.

kittythescarygoblin · 17/10/2006 13:24

Poor you evilannie What can I say? Big hugs, have a nice cuppa and a few choccie bics. x

evilanniedividedin2byalargeaxe · 17/10/2006 13:27

Thank you. I am going to be miserable for the rest of today, then try and put it all out of my head. Gloom. And steer clear of contentious threads!

leogaela · 17/10/2006 13:28

Oh dear! I've been away for a few days again and I will skim, but I'm not even going to try ot read all the posts!

Doing well here, apart from a bad cold (which has a positive side, i am home on my own and can catch up on MN! o. Results from amnio came back good, which of course makes me very happy and relieved, but I feel more angry with my doctor that he didn't make sure I had a decent scan which encouraged me to have an invasive and unnecessary procedure instead. Anyway, i'm going direct ot the hospital for all future appointments and won't have to see that doctor anymore so i'm putting it all behind me! I'm also annoyed as i think he told us what sex they are (in a joke) before he checked if we wanted to know, and I really didn't want to know, but now i think I know I think i may as well know!

Evilannie, sorry you are feeling bad ! I'm curious, have you had a scan yet? Do you have a bump yet?

evilanniedividedin2byalargeaxe · 17/10/2006 13:29

Leogaela, no scan, no bump. Have decided it must be a skinny, relaxed boy!

leoghostlygaela · 17/10/2006 13:35

Lucky you! I have 2 fat footballers inside me ! Do you plan ot have a scan at all?

RabidZombieAmie · 17/10/2006 13:38

Piffle.. Glad the hunky itallian stallion helped you out a little!

Annie - try and rest I guess, pref with a bar of dariy milk.. I actually fancy some chocoalte buttons.

Some ejit has stole the arial off my car.. again. 3rd time in a year.. wonder if its the same person who glued a piece of blue card to my bonnet?

I'm running on a short fuse today... the lady who sits nearest to me, even her breathing is annoying me! I must relax...

getting anxious about scan, even though its not till next friday! slight bump but not felt anything for a while. hope all is well, I'm guessing its nerves and nothing to do with the cramping. doesn't seemr ight if I'm not worrying about something.

evilanniedividedin2byalargeaxe · 17/10/2006 13:41

Ooh, you've gone ghosty in between posts! I am planning on having a scan (purely to help me date this poor child, I am not organised about these things, but that's a whole other thread!), but appointments have been thin on the ground here.

Why would someone nick a car ariel???

RabidZombieAmie · 17/10/2006 13:48

who knows Annie? I wish I did... when I replace it I'm gonna take it off every night and take it in the house with me. I know they're only £5 each but its the principle of the matter. gah!

Whoowhoobewhooooooh · 17/10/2006 13:49

A bus driver in South London actually waited for me to cross the road to get on today! Unheard of! I must look pregnant.

Annie: sorry you're feeling rotten. Sometimes I think you just need to indulge in it. Know what you mean about being rotten to the kids. My rule is 'never go to work hungover' for the same reason, but now I feel hungover every day I do find myself taking it out on them a bit, and have to be very stern with myself. And I'm not with them for very long! Just tell them Mummy doesn't feel very well, and let them pretend to be nurses or something.

laidback: lol at your dream. I don't in fact have a mouth ulcer: maybe you're spookily seeing into the future. I take it I was utterly gorgeous?

It is unsettling - all this MN unrest - but one thing I love is that we can all come back to this thread for the support and experience-sharing that we all need so much at the moment. The world'd be boring if we were all the same (insert your own additional homily).

I'm just looking forward to March when all this online-strife will dwindle into insignificance. (Well, hopefully it'll happen before then - but you know what I mean).

Congrats on your blue one Jay. I should be finding out in 2 and a half weeks.

20+2

Whoowhoobewhooooooh · 17/10/2006 13:50

Oh, and sorry to hear about your pain Piffle - but I'm glad the osteo was able to help

leoghostlygaela · 17/10/2006 14:09

Evilannie - I am so impressed with your patience and calm! I would love to have the courage to not have scans etc... I left it to 10 weeks before I went to the doctor this time, but like Amie, I worry about everything too much. I kind of feel that if I had this pregancy again i would do things completely differently. Its funny how we kind of get dragged along by the system and the medics.

Whoo - its moments like that (i.e. bus driver thing) that makes you feel special when you are pregnant !

Annie - thought i should get into the halloween spirit of things , it will help me to remember to stock up on tricks for the visitors we will be getting on the 31st !

divastrop · 17/10/2006 14:38

i like the feeling that if i get stuck in the middle of an argument or somebody is horrible on another thread,i can run back here to cryits like going to see your best freind when uve had a run-in in the school playground or something

annie-how old are your older two children?i explained all about hormones to ds and dd1 about 2 years ago when i was really bad with pmt.they still drive me nuts at the weekends though.my house is way too small and we are forever tripping over each other.

leo-good to hear ur amnio results were good.

evilanniedividedin2byalargeaxe · 17/10/2006 14:41

Divastrop, they are 5 (nearly 6) and 4 (5 in Jan). I think dd1 is on to me though, she can still remember me being pg last year with dd3....

divastrop · 17/10/2006 14:49
