Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 17th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 33rd outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates! It's a bit quiet at the moment, but with all these upduffed viroids hopefully it won't be for long!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

So, roll call below please, viroids!

I think you should go to Tesco, fill a trolley with champagne and stinky cheese nappies and baby clothes and test the theory that you get it for free if your waters go. If you start feeling a bit awkward because you've been there for hours and nothing has happened, you can always wee yourself - it isn't like they'll check!

Lol pis

Well that feeding class was a fucking waste of time!! I turned up, asked where the class was being held and just knew there was a problem when she looked confused! Turns out the class had been cancelled because 'no one had booked onto it.'

Uhm??

I held up the leaflet about it and pointed to the number on the bottom, told them I'd called that number and had been told I was booked in. 'Oh, yes, that's the midwife number, they sometimes don't pass names onto us'

.......

Perhaps you should do something about that? I asked, to which I was told they had and could be ok me onto the next one. Turns out the next class is on 10th feb, you know, less than 2 weeks before she'll be here probably! Though I wasn't even booked onto a proper list, she just took my name and said someone would call me, so I'm not holding my breath!

Grrrrr.

I'm going to see if there's any classes being held at the hospital before then I think.

RPopz · 16/12/2014 10:26

Oh Zyla Angry Angry I'd be raging!! Think the NCT do them? Or could be worth seeing if there's a LLL meeting in your area? x

OP posts:
ZylaB · 16/12/2014 10:36

Imagine if someone had taken time off work for it though? I'm at hospital tomorrow and will ask there, will also look up LLL, but I'm pretty sure there's not one near me :( I don't want to pay for NCT if I can get away with it, we're already on their signature course in jan, do they cover it in that?

DulcetMoans · 16/12/2014 10:54

I like pis idea, get thee to the shops! If you do think you will get it for free, maybe go up market like Waitrose... Hope you are getting close min!

I thought they did cover that in the signature stuff zyla. That's my memory from looking it up last time anyway but not looked this time.

Had the miscarriage dream last night Sad. Felt real too so that was horrible. Was shortly followed by a dream where I met a cow which I am pretty sure could talk, or at least telepathically communicate with me.

DulcetMoans · 16/12/2014 12:05

I seem to have killed the thread. Was it the talking cow??

RPopz · 16/12/2014 12:22

Haha bless you Dulce! What did the cow have to say? Wink

I'm sure there will be stuff about feeding in your NCT course Zy. Can understand not wanting to pay again.

teejayem · 16/12/2014 12:35

oh dulce dreams like that are horrid .
The talking cow sounds like good fun. didn't someone else here perform mouth to mouth on chicken the other night?
I've had a few that have just been totes bonkers, although I have to say my Jurassic Park one is a current favourite. Had some more spooky one the other night tho, woke up the other morning and said to Mr Tee I had dreamed about his dad (He died 3 years ago) and he said 'That's funny, so did I' and when we talked about it the context of both dreams was v similar.

Back at work today to wrap everything up before xmas. I'm being allowed home an hour early.

min start something that really needs your full attention, like try making a meringue or similar. It's not the same, but every time I try and make a pavlova or similar, something happens to remove my attention from it and the frigging thing gets left and burns.

Just re read that and it sounds bonkers. I might just carry on waving pom poms instead. Blush

D'ya know what's mental? She's already got us running around after her!
Little madam.
Plus she's already got a brilliant wardrobe.

RPopz · 16/12/2014 13:50

She'll be so worth it though Grin

RPopz · 16/12/2014 13:53

Tee I totally get what you meant lol! At one point I wanted to paint our bedroom while I was on mat leave (lots of Hmm faces whenever I mentioned it to anyone). My bf was all like "you do realise if you do that, you will go into labour whilst the paint is still drying and the furniture/ bed/ stuff is EVERYWHERE..." Fair point!

oh zyla what an anticlimax!!

dulcet pregnancy does cause the strangest of dreams, I woke up in such a tiz this morning because I'd been dreaming about having Penguins in the back garden, but summer was on it's way and I couldn't keep their coop (because penguins totally live on coops right?) cold enough and the ice kept melting, so I was mainly trying to contact the local museum to see if they'd take the penguins... Little bit glad that DH woke me up with too hot coffee and more antibiotics!

MiL brought over the first two bags of DD's old clothes, I've filled laundry baskets with each

DulcetMoans · 16/12/2014 14:19

Thats an awesome dream boo, I want penguins in my garden. Although I would rather have the chickens! We want chickens but with two cats and an ex-council house on an estate we aren't really in the right conditions for it.

Would be a very creepy coincidence there tee. Was he creeped out a little?

Being pregnant and near to christmas makes it hard to concentrate on work.

OH! Forgot to tell you, I accidentally told someone I was pregnant at work. Lady on my team is due in February, I was eating peanuts and raisins in a meeting yesterday and offered her some. Asked if she had given up nuts in pregnancy and she said no and I just said, 'No, me either'. Blush Queue silence and knowing smiles.

laurenamium · 16/12/2014 14:24

Loving the talking cow Grin it was me that did mouth to beak resus! Although dreams lately are more DP cheating/ getting us in debt/ losing DD than anything, poor fella keeps getting dirty looks on a morning!

ZylaB · 16/12/2014 14:27

dulcet ignore awful dreams! Poor you though, it's horrible. So how long do you think it will be until everyone at work knows now? Grin

teejayem · 16/12/2014 14:30

He was a bit Dulce but he is staunchly atheist, non spiritual, non paranormal. I am a bit more of a hippy in that sense - His Dad is 100% around in his mum's house - when we told her that I was pregnant all the lights started flickering, and didn't stop until we left (SiL said Dad was obviously pleased!) and there's been loads of other incidences where we'd be talking about him, or going through his stuff and doors would shut etc. Oddly enough it doesn't feel scary. And yes, I get the not-wanting-to concentrate on work thing, I have been a rubbish employee since October!!

Thank god popz I am so unarticulate at the moment

Share the penguins boo! I'll trade for dinosaurs..

TheBooMonster · 16/12/2014 14:54

dulcet we're on a housing association estate, we knew when we bought the house that we technically shouldn't have chickens but a friend of ours was moving to another country and needed to shift their two girls quickly so we took them on, we have three now and between them they're pretty boulshy, they chase away cats! They've bloody destroyed the garden though, it's mostly a mudpie at the moment, we're going to have to do something about it in the new year, because DD can't go out there with all the mud and chicken poo :S The neighbours are pretty accepting of them all things considered though there are some new people a few doors down who are complete fucking arseholes and in everyone's business and try and start fights with everyone up to and including the wind and I'd happily smack in the mouth if they came near my back garden aren't so friendly and accepting so we're steering clear of them and keeping the garden locked in case they come snooping because I know they'd report us to the housing association and then we might have to get rid of the girls :(

ooh tee I'll totally trade you a penguin for a dinosaur!

Minion · 16/12/2014 15:32

Nope.
Sweet F A
Just waiting for mw appointment, pretty sure I'll getb sweep, then it's curry time, which is a bit pointless as the hottest I can handle is a dhansak

TheBooMonster · 16/12/2014 15:41

blimey min not sure about all this going into labour naturally malarkey, being induced was much more straight forward, at least I had a start time, all the waiting round must be driving you mental!

RPopz · 16/12/2014 16:35

Haha Dulcet you PLONKER! Grin Hope she's not the village gossip Wink

I'd quite like some penguins too. I luffs em. Not sure the cats and dog would agree.

Blimey Min she is being a monkey! I prescribe a raspberry leaf curry with pineapple and shagging for afters.

laurenamium · 16/12/2014 16:56

I'll swap my mums chickens for some penguins and dinosaurs? Grin She's got 9 and they're handy for eggs and keeping the muck heap off the horses down but they're annoying. My horse is scared of them and he throws himself around to avoid them Hmm mind you that's more the horse than the chickens I suppose!

Minion · 16/12/2014 17:27

We've only had a small change in cervix stuff.
Grrrrrrrr
So I've been booked in for an induction on Monday. Hoping she decides no one will be dictating when she arrives and does it of her own accord.
Humph
Humph
And another grumble for luck.

Fleurchamp · 16/12/2014 17:48

Aww min how frustrating!

This whole ttc and pregnancy thing is just a whole lot of waiting around. I have zero patience and just hope that, as seems to happen in my family, my baby comes early.

Is it sad that I have already decided the date I want to leave work based on the fact that Wimbledon will start the following Monday and I will be able to sit and watch the whole thing whilst stuffing my face with strawberries

RPopz · 16/12/2014 18:39

Haha, that sounds like perfectly valid reasoning fleur Grin I left when I did so I could have Xmas off... I've never had Xmas off!

Eurgh min that's rubbish. Monday is still a longish way away though. Get tweaking those nips! Have you got a breast pump? Expressing is supposed to be a good one too...
