Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 17th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 33rd outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates! It's a bit quiet at the moment, but with all these upduffed viroids hopefully it won't be for long!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

So, roll call below please, viroids!

Forgot - hope mini-Lauren's party goes well! How many are invited?

Glad you've been rescued pis Grin

ZylaB · 12/12/2014 10:52

min fx this is it!

pis glad you're in the warm now :)

Thanks all for the expressing thoughts, ness the main advantage would be to stabilise her sugars Asap after birth and possibly between feeds so she doesn't have to go to neonatal and have glucose or formula. That said, my super strict sugar control on myself may also help that some. I'll have a natter to the docs :)

fattycow · 12/12/2014 11:56

tee and rpopz, no it wasn't private scan. Way too expensive for me. It was my 12 week scan, scheduled at 11 weeks. Turns out I was 10+6, so 11 weeks today. Bubba is so cute!

Indigoblue2 · 12/12/2014 12:04

Thanks ladies, that settles my nerves a bit re the ms!

fatty what excellent news! thrilled for you.

zyla stabilising sugars certainly adds a whole extra bit of complexity onto the labour/bf thing! Sounds like you are super organised which is bound to help loads.

la you sound like me! Good news is that you're almost at 12 weeks, not long to go at all! And you had your midway check up so hopefully that's reassuring too Smile

Minion · 12/12/2014 12:11

Bah!
It's all stopped. What a swiz!

I started with colostrum quite early, though I didn't know it at the time. Just thought my nips had gone crusty. Quite embarrassed when I found out!
Oops.
Shite mother alert ha!

KatoPotato · 12/12/2014 12:30

I'm here sorry!

Been hectic with nativity and a partyzilla that i may need to put to the grads AIBU panel!

Will catch up with the thread now!

RPopz · 12/12/2014 13:10

Things still might be on their way though min!! GX!

I'm having dirty supernoodles for lunch cos I'm lazy and a terrible mother and have gone off all nutritious food stuffs a la the first trimester...

Mr P has taken to his bed and is refusing to move without lucozade and chicken soup... Hmm

laurenamium · 12/12/2014 13:51
and this one if anyone's bored or procrastinating
Minion · 12/12/2014 14:00

ooosh popz I loves me a supernoodle sarnie. Has to be the original supernoodles, chicken flavour sandwhiched between 2 slices of white bread.
Sounds rank but tastes like heaven, if I hadn't just inhaled my left over pizza from dinner id be snorting them!

I can't be the only one with weird sarnie loves?

Leela5 · 12/12/2014 14:03

My favourite sandwich is sweet corn, onion, cheese, sun blush tomatoes and, if available, hummus or chutney.

laurenamium · 12/12/2014 14:07

I like cheese, tomato sauce and pickled onions in a sandwich. Or just tomato sauce some days Smile

Leela5 · 12/12/2014 14:37

Mmm I love pickled onions!

Leela5 · 12/12/2014 14:40

Phoned hospital to find out about scan. They've not got my form and no appointment now left before Christmas :(

So we are going to book privately so we can do announcement at Christmas to dh family.

Minion · 12/12/2014 14:45

Oooh yeah baby!
Cheese and tom ketchup totally does it for me! Yummy!

Well the pps are back...I hope this means it is kicking up a gear now

Fleurchamp · 12/12/2014 14:53

We're the same la slightly bricking it that I have booked the scan for Xmas eve. Not sensible if it's bad news (which I am now convinced it will be).

fattycow · 12/12/2014 14:56

My fave sandwich at the moment:
white bread, with a thin layer of mayonaise, then young Gouda cheese, slices of boiled egg and salt, pepper and curry powder... Heaven!

Leela5 · 12/12/2014 14:58

Hooray min! C'mon Robyn!

Fleur - how are your symptoms? Today I feel fine, yesterday I felt ever so slightly sicky but nothing compared to the last two weeks.

My back aches a bit but that's it. I'm so worried :(

fattycow · 12/12/2014 15:00

la, try not to worry! I have good days as well and baby was deffo there yesterday.

Just give the midwife a ring and demand they help you get a scan!
I'm lucky ours have a machine in the office that they use when booking you in.

laurenamium · 12/12/2014 15:05

Fleur you're my scan buddy I have a growth scan on Christmas Eve Grin I'm sure everything will be fine though and it'll just be a nice Christmas present for us!

fattycow · 12/12/2014 15:07

For all of us in the early stages: all scans will be fine and we will all have a lovely Christmas (probably with loads of announcements as well). Xmas Smile

teejayem · 12/12/2014 15:08

white bread, salted butter and bacon crisp sandwich. Also my 'salami surprise' (oo-err) which I've been having singe I found out I was upduffed and have deffo mentioned on here, is a piece of salami rolled in a slice of gouda.
Nom!

Dusting off the pom poms for you min

  • I didn't feel consistently like shit first trim hon. In fact I had a three day gap of no MS before it came back as evening sickness, and I only really had it weeks 6-10. By the time my scan rolled around it had gone. - I know it's easier to say, but don't drive yourself mad worrying xx Even now, aside from my blooming stomach and my inability to poo anything smaller than a breezeblock [flbush] I actually don't feel very pregnant anymore
