Im at the midwife in the morning for a sweep if the baby hasnt come

Back from waddling round and while i was out a stranger actually tried to rub my belly ??
Contractions still coming slow but regular

I climbed a heap of stairs while walking round town on Sunday - I'm sure that's what set me off.

Right espa theres my plan for tonight-walk up and down the stairs!

Good luck silver and Lucy. Looks like things are moving for you. I can't believe they booked your induction for Xmas day silver, that's awful. Hopefully little one will come along before that.

Congrats cat! Is she going to be known as Percy? Such a cute name.

I can't say my girl's name as it would probably out me, there were none born in Scotland with her name last year you see! Not sure how much I said in my original post (and I will update in due course once I have access to something more than my phone) but she is in the neonatal unit as she needed a little more help than anticipated after our difficult labour and birth. She's okay and making improvements but am so keen for her to be let out from there and on to the ward. Currently waiting to be 'woken up' by midwife as I need to express during the night...I'm so sleepy though.

Sorry no updates yet; struggling when I'm left alone but hoping things are easier at home with DH there permanently. No lovely patient midwives at home, though!

We have had a much better second night thanks to a brilliant mw helping me settle her. Fingers crossed for home today.

And we've not decided if she's more Percy or Sephy yet :)

Off to midwife for 39 week appointment! Please baby come out sooon!!

Oh silver this could be your baby coming!!!
Midwife sent us to triage because of babys heart rate. Had to be hooked up to a machine while they monitored her but all okay so home now!
Waiting for an appointment for next week to have another check over and possibly a sweep!!

Im the same silver, pains coming and going since tuesday!!
Was up all night feeling generally ill and was just sick now due to heartburn
Had enough of this pregnancy i just want my baby :(

Good luck Lucy, can't be long now. My labour started with feeling and being sick. Once contractions started properly I couldn't eat or drink anything until they gave me gas and air. (Yikes)

Baby boy born on Thursday morning, 9lbs4oz.
Still deciding on a name but he is an absolute angel.
Labour wasn't exactly as I'd have hoped - ended up with a failed epidural and 2h of pushing followed by forceps, but who cares?!
