Had a rather un-original attempt at a new name! Hop across ladies!

Hoping the stats link works...

Wow laspalmas that is some difference! How is DC2 now?

Is there some relation between your own birth weight/ that of your nieces and nephews crosses fingers there is

butler it is so worrying. It's good news you saw a heart beat though. Could you speak to your mw for reassurance?

Butler4 · 09/12/2014 19:59

Thanks for your help. I just keep telling myself to calm down and enjoy the experience and remember that it's out with my control. Dh is so supportive and helps me calm down which is good.
I can only imagine how you must be feeling after previous experience as well.
Have been off work this week choked with cold so think that has added to me having too much time to over think! Thanks again for your support

Bustherb · 09/12/2014 20:32

Hi everyone, those tips I had did work while on the train although the minute I got off I was sick all over myself
And my hubby's car ... The joys!xx

Leela5 · 09/12/2014 21:28

Hi to everyone, hope you're l ok and scananxiety isn't getting to you. I feel unhealthy and blobby as the only time I feel not sick is if I'm eating. I've out on 5lb so far :(

Anyone else finding this?

Thepurplegiraffe · 09/12/2014 21:30

Glad they worked, well done on making it through the train journey, it's really not easy.
I have felt absolutely awful all day but it has taken till now to actually be sick, largely because I took a days holiday. Being sick at least once a day now but I know that is nowhere near as bad as some of you. I was sick until 23 weeks last time then started again towards the end. Hope it doesn't last as long this time.

Thepurplegiraffe · 09/12/2014 21:32

I have lost a kilo and a half so far but that is because eating just makes me feel more sick. Funny how it can be the complete opposite. I miss enjoying food!

TouchPauseEngage · 09/12/2014 21:33

Hi butler, I'm a little ahead of you -11 weeks.
Since 9-10 weeks I have felt pretty much normal. I think it's quite usual at the stage - but it doesn't stop me worrying!

Fleurchamp · 09/12/2014 21:33

Yes la I have eaten so much lately. Don't know how much weight I have out on as my scales are broken but I feel HUGE.

I am trying to have healthy snacks but I don't always fancy them.

I have managed to avoid crisps today so that's a bonus Hmm

Butler4 · 09/12/2014 21:51

Thanks touch, really good to hear from other people in similar situation. Just trying not to think about it as best as I can!

misseskimo · 09/12/2014 22:29

Geh I'm still feeling awful. Had two days off work now and pretty sure tomorrow's going to be a 3rd. So nauseous I physically can't eat, which is draining me of energy and making me so dizzy Sad managing to keep up fluids though, so at least I'm not dehydrated on top. DH went out after work and bought me loads of things he read were good for nausea in pregnancy. I have soup, salt & vinegar crisps (handcooked), sparkling water and shreddies. Bless him! I also found something that seemed to help earlier... Carrot and swede mash. The aunt bessies frozen kind, just that microwaved earlier with a pinch of s&p was great as a warm snack, and not too flavourful to wreak havoc on my sensitive stomach! That and its one of your 5 a day

Thanks Fleur. DS2 doing ok considering his extreme prematurity. He still has a few ongoing complex health issues ( he is on breathing support via a tracheostomy in his neck at night time for the next few years until his windpipe grows a bit stronger) but other than that he's amazing and totally beaten the odds. He's 2.5 now and toddling round getting into daily mischief! I hope no-one on this board has to spend time on a neonatal unit, particularly with a baby so early, but rest assured they are amazing amazing places where absolute miracles happen x

Fleurchamp · 10/12/2014 07:03

That's great to hear laspalmas it is absolutely amazing what Drs can do with such tiny babies.

My niece was born very poorly (CDH) and had to have two operations before she was a month old. She is now 4 and you would never know anything is wrong with her. She is even proud of her scars and will happily show them off to strangers which is a bit odd when you're in Starbucks

Woke up this morning feeling sick which is a new one, it usually kicks in when I have been awake a little while. Today is going to be Fun Sad

Mrsc020987 · 10/12/2014 07:45

Sometimes I think I would prefer to be in labour than this sickness, at least it stops and you get handed a gorgeous baby and then the best tea and toast of your life. Mw today appt to get a booking in appt, extremely efficient. NOT. Don't no where in going to get the energy from to get both dds and myself dressed for 1. Sounds stupid but everything is so difficult just now. Second attempt at meds doing nothing, I feel sick all day even when eating, all through the night, I am shaking and exhausted because I now cant sleep its so horrible!

Leela5 · 10/12/2014 07:46

Been awake since 3am feeling sick. Have important meeting at work. Would really love just to hide in bed :(

Bustherb · 10/12/2014 08:31

Hi miss. I was the same as you a couple weeks back (forth week of sickness now ShockShock) and nothing helped the sickness. I did find though if I didn't have a little snack I was sick all day , my mw said that keeping fluids down was the most important so try and drink lots xxx the not being able to eat does get better xxx

naty1 · 10/12/2014 09:22

Annoyed with DP as he didnt put rubbish out, in spite of reminder yesterday saying i cant do it. So ive now done it and have cramps in my back. Its really heavy due to the nappies. Though im surprised about the cramps as im always lifting 2st DD.

Number3cometome · 10/12/2014 09:52

Morning,

Hello to all the feeling shit brigade this morning.

I was heaving at the fridge, then on the train, then at my desk.

Back to work today after two days off sick. Tongues are wagging as the only time I have been off work was when I had a major back operation.

I said it was a sickness bug, but nosey chops here like to ask questions.

The constant hiccuping is a bit of a giveaway.

I try not to remind myself that I spent 30 hours of labour with hiccups the whole time, it actually put me off the aching pain

Just eating some toast and having a green tea.

I have my grandads funeral tomorrow, so hoping I won't be feeling too sick or faint. Friday is my scan.

Anti sickness pills are working on making me not vomit so I can cope with the nausea.

Got a meeting at 10:30, if it overuns I will be mad punch someone's face in with my bare hands

Number3cometome · 10/12/2014 09:58

p.s. put on 4lb initially, but weighed this morning and have lost 2lb from sickness over the weekend and last couple if days.

Overtiredbackagain · 10/12/2014 10:11

Morning all! Sorry to hear most of you are still feeling rubbish. I am 10 weeks today and am feeling tonnes better, so much so I don't feel pregnant at all?! I am very tired, but that's completely normal for me to be honest!

I really should weigh myself, I don't think I've put on much, if at all, I had lost due to last of fermented grapes, none of my clothes feel any tighter although I am showing a slight bump, which I am desperately trying to keep under wraps - its definitely bigger at night!

Bustherb · 10/12/2014 10:28

I hadn't thought about weighing myself. Just looked back my mw notes and weighed myself and I've lost 4 pounds, but then I am sick an awful lot so that's probably why xxx

Fleurchamp · 10/12/2014 10:41

I have the biggest craving for chips from the chip shop smothered in salt and vinegar. My mouth is watering at the prospect.

May have to make a trip there at lunchtime I am destined to be the size of a house

Overtiredbackagain · 10/12/2014 10:55

Oooo Fleur that sounds amazing!! I want them now too! Grin

Raines100 · 10/12/2014 11:01

Hi Ladies,

I don't know what to think. I've had constant nausea for the last week and have felt exhausted, dizzy and generally unwell. BUT I haven't puked at all. In fact, the only respite I have from the nausea is when I eat. I can't help worrying, because with my 2 DSs I had hyperemesis, and the pregnancy before that, in which I was tired but not nauseous, I lost. I don't know what's going on with this one, but it's making me quite emotional because I don't know which way it's going to go!

Over I'm feeling fine now and I'm staying awake past half 8 too

I don't what I'd have done if I was working tooBlush

Yesterday was fabulous I was thoroughly spoilt I'm now patiently awaiting my OH to come home.

It's been a week since my booking appt and I've still not heard re my scan appt??

I look massive, despite walking more I'm averaging 30 miles a week and I'm eating a lot more healthily, I'm also not consuming my daily 10 tea/coffee so you'd think that would help.

I'm supposed to be at a rave next week for the blog I'm going to have to find THE BIGGEST sloppy tee to wear, I'm sure the guys will notice my boobs are huge too (stressed)

Overtiredbackagain · 10/12/2014 11:37

Itsnotthatdeep My OH was shocked the other night when I stayed up til 10pm!! Although I do tend to doze off on the sofa if I get too warm and snug!

How far along are you now?
