Had a rather un-original attempt at a new name! Hop across ladies!

Hoping the stats link works...

bluesky Sad

I've overdone it today by walking long distances as a result I'm cramping. It really proves me that I need to take it easy.

pin good luck for your scan tomorrow

WantToGoingTo · 08/12/2014 20:34

Sending you lots of love bluesky, thinking of you, hope you have lots of support to get through this Thanks

As for me, another completely pants day at work, ending up in me crying, and leaving 2 hours later than usual. Not due to the big guns this time though, but due to my 'boss' who left at end of November but is still incessantly emailing me and phoning me to do stuff (new boss doesn't start til Feb). It is so confusing, I don't know if he is working or not working, but he is driving me insane! I just can't take it anymore, hence the crying outburst today. Dunno what to do, have another 2 months of this til new person starts. He doesn't seem to understand the concept of 'stress'. And have late meetings tomorrow (with said boss that has 'left') so I doubt I will have a peaceful day at work until I am off for Christmas!

DH been amazing though, I got home and he whisked my coat off me, thrust a spiced apple tea in my hand and had dinner ready in 10 minutes. He also heated the bed so I could hop right in Grin he is a definite keeper!

7+3

Very sorry to hear your news bluesky Flowers

WantToGoingTo · 08/12/2014 20:48

Also has anyone else experienced bleeding with constipation? Blush (definitely from there and not the lady area!) It wasn't much, only a few tiny specks but I am a bit worried :(

StoneBaby · 08/12/2014 21:12

wantto if you strain (sp) too much it can happened. Just be aware as it can leads to haemoroids (as I have)

Pipbin · 08/12/2014 21:19

I've had that outside of pregnancy. I went to the doctors and it's was just a tiny tear in my bum.

StoneBaby · 08/12/2014 21:24

Pip how are you feeling? Fx for tomorrow

Pipbin · 08/12/2014 21:30

I drift from anxious to zen like. I have made biscuits for the clinic staff as they have been so lovely.

I've got a friend who had a loss at 21 weeks and has just had a healthy baby girl keeping me sane right now.

Pipbin · 08/12/2014 21:32

Oh Stone, I see you say that walking is giving you cramps. I have stopped running and started going for a walk when I would normally run. I walked for half an hour today (not long I know) and I had cramping, I wonder if the two could be related.

Thank you for remembering it is my scan tomorrow.

misseskimo · 08/12/2014 21:39

Really sorry to hear your news bluesky Thanks

Thanks for your comments on the cards Smile now I just have to decide when to give them! DH wants to do xmas, but I really want to wait till after the scan on 30th, meaning it will be alot harder to actually see people Sad so no idea what to do

Been really unwell since Sunday night. DH just bought me some sickness bands, so keeping fx they help! Also gutted as I've been working flat out for past 3weeks on a project at work, supposed to be up at 4am for a cab to take me 3-4hrs to an all day meeting where I have to demo my project... I have literally just cancelled the cab as I really don't think I can do it. Briefed my boss, and told him ill be on standby if he needs to call me. Just gutted I can't make it myself Sad

Thank you everyone. DH has been amazing. The midwife got them to take my blood for the hcg level, which is still quite high so I have to go back in on Wednesday for more bloods and then see her again on Thursday. Just hoping it's not ectopic. I'm rather confused.

But wishing you all good luck!!! And hugs to everyone suffering with different pregnancy and non pregnancy ailments!

MissManage · 08/12/2014 22:12

I had my booking in today, so exciting! I think I'm going to have "shared care" under a consultant (whatever that means) anyone else having this? Should I be concerned?

missmanage I'm the same. In fact I have been referred to two specialists on top of my mw. Its normally because you've scored "high" on something in their initial assessment, i.e. On your medical history. For instance mine were cause of A. I have both a personal and family history of depression, so that puts me at high risk of post-natal depression. And B. I have some issues with my "downstairs" area both physically and physiologically due to a problem I had at birth.

So the mw said I'll be seen by a psych specialist for A 1-2 times during pregnancy and then they'll want to see me a couple of times after baby's born to make sure I'm coping ok. Then for B I have to see an obstetrician at 16wks who will assess me and advise on my birthing options. Depending on the outcome of that assessment will depend on if I see her again before due date. But I still have my normal mw for normal checkups, concerns etc.
