Had a rather un-original attempt at a new name! Hop across ladies!

Urgh I had a midnight bedtime last night.

Was feeling a bit errr fruity so stayed up for when OH got home. Blush

It was worth it Wink

There are only three times during the day that I don't feel nausea - when eating (certain) foods, when exercising and when DTD.

Boobs are getting mega sore when DTD though, OH looks at them with lust and i'm like DON'T TOUCH THEM!!

JoY007 · 05/12/2014 11:26

Lucky you number I am well envious Envy not dtd since I found out. DP would not, and quite frankly not in the mood sometimes, particularly last night when he was acting like a child, because he felt electrician charged too much to install new light in the bathroom, these are times I wish I was with an older man Smile. How much do you think he will charge?! guy drove ~7 miles to us, off course he will ask for 50, the job was small and we could have done it ourselves, but got slightly confused with the wires so decided to get someone in. So looking forward to having a real child that will throw tantrums Grin rant over..that woke me up!

Number3cometome · 05/12/2014 11:32

Joy
Haha!!
OH leaves the DIY to me - I then tell him to butt his nose out if he dares to involve himself.
I know what I am doing lies so end of!

DP will not throughout or just not for now?
I get why some people don't feel like it, it is a worry early on.

I told OH he wouldn't squash or poke anything, and any man who thinks they might has penis dysmorphia haha

JoY007 · 05/12/2014 11:52

Lol! number its true, sometimes I wish he will not want to get involved in the diy or the interior decorating arggghh! slowly getting there. Lol @ Penis dysmorphia.

Number3cometome · 05/12/2014 11:53

Joy he is just a mere pup - he will learn Wink

Pipbin · 05/12/2014 11:58

Wants
I'm 5'3 and DH is 6'4. I don't stand a chance!

7 weeks here. A little bit nausea here but not much.

Number3cometome · 05/12/2014 12:01

pipbin

Your poor legs!!

itsnotthatdeep · 05/12/2014 12:08

ha ha at the the men being squeamish re DTD we only managed twice last time my oh was here because I felt so sick, now I am climbing the walls and hes not here til my bday next weekSad Sad Sad Sad Sad

otherwise apart from feeling fat im having a good day

Number3cometome · 05/12/2014 12:23

I'm off to the pub for cheesy chips and an Orange Juice
Well it is Friday after all!

misseskimo · 05/12/2014 13:12

We haven't dtd since finding out also. Partly DH doesn't want to (but thats more cause he feels like he'll make me feel worse, rather than he doesn't want to err "poke" anything) and also cause I really haven't felt upto it! When I'm not feeling nauseous, I'm exhausted or have cramps. So just leaving it for now.

I just had a baked potato with beans and cheese. Apparently the best food you can have... Its been my saviour food this past fortnight, but today I was thinking to myself that the potato was never-ending and I was wondering why I was getting so stuffed... Looked down and realised they'd given me 1.5 potatoes, and they were pretty big ones at that! No wonder I was struggling! Lol

Ladies, I think I am seriously going crazy.

As I have moaned lots said, I have managed to get all sorts of midwife appointments (3 at current count) and have made numerous numbers of telephone calls to try to untangle it all. I have just popped home to a letter informing me of my scan date- at the wrong hospital!!!!

Is anyone else having serious problems arranging appointments at the hospital of their choice? My Drs surgery (who had me flying into their reception begging them to help me sort it out) reckons the hospital of my choice is over subscribed and so sending people elsewhere. However chosen hospital has never heard of me and so they must farm people out without even putting them on their system. Can't be right, surely?

I have very good reasons for not wanting to go to the other hospital.

I am seriously so stressed out by this, I have spent hours in the phone and am banging my head against a brick wall.

Am I completely deranged to be so upset about this?

DH is ignoring my calls and texts and so sorry for ranting away but I have no one else to moan to Sad

itsnotthatdeep · 05/12/2014 13:55

Surely the point of being able to choose Fleur, is so you CAN choose? Kick some ass !

Leela5 · 05/12/2014 14:03

Hi fleur although I'm booked in to give birth at one hospital my scans and appointments are at a different one. Could that be same as you?

Blueskygirl30 · 05/12/2014 14:19

Virtual thank you for that. I just want the scan now! I've had quite a lot of brown spotting which is really worrying me although I know they say it's only a problem if there's a lot of red blood or if there's pain accompanying red spotting.

I haven't even got as far as trying to get a booking in appointment or anything like that. I went straight from gp to EPAU, I'm hoping they'll tell me what the next step is next week (thinking positively)

Number3cometome · 05/12/2014 14:25

Blueskygirl30
Are you at the EPAU now? Good luck and fx

Fleurchamp That sounds totally shit! Give the hosp a ring where the scan is booked, ask them if you are just having the scan there.

I had issues at St Thomas Hospital when I had DS, I was adamant I didn't want to go back, it took a bit of work, but I ended up at Kings College and they were fine. You have to bully them a bit, but your GP should be able to assist?

Grrr to OH not answering his phone!

JoY007 · 05/12/2014 14:45

Hi fleur is there any other hospital you would like to go? I totally understand how you feel. Also as number suggested call them and be assertive insist on the hospital of your choice and if not possible, ensure they provide a reason and alternative.

You DH is probably busy, or perhaps does not understand how important this is to you. Ignore him for now and sort out your hospital, you can do it xx

I've just had a Leon Chicken burger with their fries and potato chips as a snack, yummy. Got the Lemonade, but was only able to manage 2 sips, looks like I am on water for a long time Hmm

Blueskygirl30 · 05/12/2014 15:06

Number no my scan is on Monday morning. Time seems to be slowing down tho and it seems forever away.

Fleurchamp · 05/12/2014 15:09

Ok, so my meltdown worked and I now have a scan at my chosen hospital for 6th Jan when I will be 12 + 3 Grin

Apparently it is all due to two NHS trusts merging. I am suspicious though, the hospital they were trying to make me go to has the worst reputation and is massively under subscribed as people refuse to be treated there.

DH just sheepishly text me back. He had been out for a long, boozy lunch (lucky git!!)

Number3cometome · 05/12/2014 15:16

Fleurchamp argh tell him not to rub it in!

Woohoo!! That's great news, the persistence paid off (and those hormones too)

Great news!

Blue good luck for Monday, if you have any issues before then take yourself down EPAU if it is open, or A&E x

WantToGoingTo · 05/12/2014 15:20

Number3cometome · 05/12/2014 16:02

Back to the bump conversation - I know this is DC3 but I actually have a bump? Like a noticeable bump. How is this even possible?!

7+6

misseskimo · 05/12/2014 16:23

Number I'm the same. I'm 8+5 and have a noticeable bump. MW told me it was normal, but its getting pretty hard to hide now not to mention fit into my clothes I'm so paranoid someone's going to say something soon considering I'm normally pretty flat stomached (is that even a word!?) now definitely not! Shock
