Had a rather un-original attempt at a new name! Hop across ladies!

Hoping the stats link works...

Sorry to both ladies re the miscarriages, I hope you're both being well looked after xxx

Over and number my partner is 4 years older but a complete bachelor, he's been great with my daughter so far and is completely overjoyed and enthusiastic about the baby, I find it all quite cute. We too will face a bit of a rocky period once we announce as our relationship has been kept very quiet as we are both part of the music scene and it's incredibly gossipy. I'm sure my ex hubby will have something to say when he finds out but it's literally none of his business so I couldn't care less.

I just say I'm worried about how little my oh knows about babies and childbirth etc but I'm sure we will muddle along.

Leela5 · 04/12/2014 11:28

I'm so sorry sdyer and teddy, how awful :(. Look after yourselves and rest Flowers

Naturegirl82 · 04/12/2014 11:32

Those of you with more than 1 dc did you find you started showing a lot earlier the 2nd time round? I'm all ready concious some of my clothes are getting tight! I'm going to have to wear maternity trousers to a funeral tomorrow as none of my other suitable trousers fit!

Overtiredbackagain · 04/12/2014 11:34

Number3 that's lovely! Whats the saying about kissing the frogs to find the prince??

I just worry because I am DP's first proper relationship, although we are very much like an old married couple Grin I like that we have independent hobbies - he plays rugby and loves his motorbikes, whereas my spare time is with my DC, but our "family" time together is great. He can be a little impatient sometimes with DC, but then so can I Grin We seem to have found an even balance of what works for us. I've been married twice before, giving my all to that one (or two!) people and its never worked, so I'm liking my independence from that sort of relationship. My issue is that now we are having a baby, I will become more financial dependent on DP, something I feel worried of becoming again since divorcing ex. Does that sound odd or selfish??

Number3cometome · 04/12/2014 11:35

itsnotthatdeep ooh i'm excited you sound famous!!

Would we have heard of you?

I think I was most nervous about my Dad knowing, me and OH have been together for a year in January, so I was worried they would feel I rushed it, but I had a really good reaction from him!

Nature Yes!! This is DC3 and I have a bump, it's not easy to hide and I am normally slim around the middle

Overtiredbackagain · 04/12/2014 11:38

If I remember correctly Naturegirl82 I showed much earlier with DC2, although could have been bloating?! Last few weeks I have been bloated but that seems to have passed, and only my jeans are uncomfortable by the end of the day at the moment, my work clothes are all ok. I'm 9 weeks, although some evenings I have a definite little tummy. And I'm in no way slim - I tend to hover between a 12 and 14 these days.

Overtiredbackagain · 04/12/2014 11:40

We haven't told any family yet, but I'm desperate to tell the DC, I know they will be thrilled, especially DD who is 5!

I'm hoping I don't suddenly sprout a tummy over Christmas, was hoping to keep quiet until after scan, which I now know is 2 January.

WantToGoingTo · 04/12/2014 11:47

Yes deep would we recognise you? A celebrity amongst our midst, how exciting Grin

Butler4 · 04/12/2014 11:54

So sorry to hear your sad news sdyer and teddy. Hope you are both being looked after.

luckythirteen · 04/12/2014 11:56

So sorry to hear this sdyer and Teddy Sad

Number3cometome · 04/12/2014 11:57

I'm sure mine is bloating, but it certainly looks like a little tiny bump Grin

I have told DC, DS who is 11 was kind of "oh right, does that mean... urgh you and him have been ... errr yuck Mum.." hahaha
DD who is 7 is over the moon!

DustOffYourHighestHopes · 04/12/2014 12:00

Sorry to hear that teddy and sdyer - I hope you are being looked after.

JoY007 · 04/12/2014 12:02

Same as I was 9 weeks, Mw said the joint pain is caused by hormones, I am going to ease off on my high impact exercise. My gait is back which is a relief, I could hardly walk yesterday.

sdyer · 04/12/2014 12:07

Thank you all for your kind messages. Signing off now x

JoY007 · 04/12/2014 12:18

9 weeks + 1 day

BadIdeaBear · 04/12/2014 12:19

Massive dizzy spell this morning, thought might faint and lost my vision briefly... woah

Had a lie down, a glass of water and a banana (which then continued to taste vile in my mouth!). But it's thrown me off my plan for the day, which is a research day at home and so quite precious. Bugger. I don't seem to be able to get going properly again now.

And now I'm ravenous yet again!! It can't be real hunger, can it?

itsnotthatdeep · 04/12/2014 13:16

lol im not famous at all, unless you like Grime and electronic music, my partner is way more famous in that sense than meWink

I cant remember which one you said it, but this is also my partners first proper grown up relationship too, its very strange for me. We arent living together either which suits me fineWink I do think that will change eventually but im in no rush. I'm more worried about not working tbh I can free lance a little but I prefer proper paid work

Mrsc020987 · 04/12/2014 13:26

So sorry for the horrible news.

I have tried the cups, hated them also! She has managed a full bottle thank god and sleeping soundly so guilt reducing! My dh is 11 years older than me and I used to get comments like she is only with him for the money etc. People who are bored with their own sad lives pass judgement on others and can go and take a flying fuck to themselves, haha rant over!
