Had a rather un-original attempt at a new name! Hop across ladies!

Hoping the stats link works...

Number3cometome · 04/12/2014 08:49

Sdyer thinking of you, fx and hugs xxx

itsnotthatdeep It is my OH first born too (my DC3)

He is very protective and totally different from ex-OH who didn't give a flying fuck when I was pregnant.

Infact he put me in hospital when pregnant sob story alert

OH now is so different, everything is so different, he is totally into this baby and I just want everything to be perfect for him.

Overtiredbackagain · 04/12/2014 09:08

Bless you Number3, I'm I exactly same position as you.

Ex-H couldn't be bothered when I was pg, although he was very good with them as new borns.

This is first for DP and is learning what he can and is being very good at helping me. He is much younger than me so a massive learning curve for him, I'm sure he'll be great Smile

Number3cometome · 04/12/2014 09:16

Over Must be something about toyboys, mine is 5 years younger.

The kids live with us and don't see much of their Dad, so he is learning too.

We have lived together since July and he has really embraced step-fatherhood (if that's a word!)

He is absolutely great, can't do enough for me and I find his worrying very sweet at the moment!

Sarkymare · 04/12/2014 09:35

I feel like crap. I'm so bloated and uncomfortable. I was actually asked in Tesco 'when are you due?' by a heavily pregnant women yesterday I was like [shocked] [shocked] [shocked]

Sarkymare · 04/12/2014 09:36

Thinking of you sdyer. I've got everything crossed for you Flowers fx and hugs x

Mrsc020987 · 04/12/2014 09:40

Good luck with scan!

Ended up at docs yesterday, sickness has escalated for meds, and ordered to stop bfeeding dd2. Was trying to anyway but on top of feeling like crap I now have two massively tender balloons contend with!

Leela5 · 04/12/2014 09:57

I feel fine today - it's really unnerving. Does anyone else have days with no ms at all?

Number3cometome · 04/12/2014 09:57

MrsC How old is DD2?

Why do you have to stop b/feeding? Do you feel ok about that? x

Mrsc020987 · 04/12/2014 10:03

She is 6 months, was trying to stop just been having issues with bottles but she will just need to take them now! I cant feed her dur to the tablets, and she said is I didn't stop and not take the meds my risks of dehydration due to the sickness are too high! Plus my nipples were agony!

Number3cometome · 04/12/2014 10:05

Oh god the nipples, I can't even imagine the pain.
Mine are like fucking hot pokers this morning.

Nice warm flannels for you and I hope weaning on to bottles is as painless as possible!

Naturegirl82 · 04/12/2014 10:09

mrsc have you thought about skipping the bottles and weaning straight onto cups? It's what I ended up doing with dd1 at 7 months and she took to them really well. I'm hoping to stop bf in Jan when dd1 is 1. Not looking forward to it!

DearTeddyRobinson · 04/12/2014 10:12

Just popping in to bow out of the thread. Early scan showed baby had died Sad so I had ERPC yesterday.
Hanging on to hope that we will have better luck when we can try again.
Best of luck to you all with the rest of your pregnancies! X

Fleurchamp · 04/12/2014 10:45

sdyer and teddy so, so sorry Flowers

la i feel perfectly fine, forget I am even pregnant some days. Tiredness and achy boobs are my only symptoms again this week. Makes me nervous (and DH keeps going on about it).

Number3cometome · 04/12/2014 10:45

syder I am so so sorry to you and your OH.

What sad and awful news.

Please look after yourself and take the time you need to heal.

Sad Flowers xxxxx

Overtiredbackagain · 04/12/2014 10:46

Teddy and Sdyer - so very sorry to hear your news. Be sure to look after yourselves xx

Overtiredbackagain · 04/12/2014 10:50

Number3 - five years is nothing! Try 15 years?! Grin

Amazingly, I never thought I would ever even look at someone DP's age, but we have known each other for a few years and he is so mature - more so than ex-h who is 20 years his senior! We just click, if that makes sense!

I was so worried about what people would say, but I don't care anymore. He is great with my two DC, they probably see their dad once a week now, I have spent a year trying to encourage ex-H to be more responsible, but he doesn't seem interested, although I'm under no illusions how much shite I will get from him once I eventually tell him I'm pregnant.

Naturegirl82 · 04/12/2014 10:54

So sorry to hear your news teddy and sdyer Thanks

Number3cometome · 04/12/2014 10:56

Over urgh same here.

Yes I totally understand when you say you just clicked.

My OH is like my soulmate cheese alert we do everything together.
Nothing like Ex at all.
I hate being away from OH, still miss him when I am at work and hold hands with him on the train --sick bucket-

To me he is amazing, a blessing and a gift. I consider myself to be very lucky and so should he haha

15 years? you go girl Grin
