Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 15th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is [http://www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/2230396-Remember-Remember-JS-in-November-no-to-bum-fun-car-shagging-and-worms-Control-your-stray-wombles-and-windy-boobs-Shout-WANKBADGERS-at-the-world-of-TTC-and-get-your-cape-on-for-JUST-SHAGGING-32 here] in its 32nd outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs [http://www.mumsnet.com/Talk/postnatal_clubs/1472763-Just-Mumming-Along-viroids-2?pg=36&order= here] for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates! It's a bit quiet at the moment, but with all these upduffed viroids hopefully it won't be for long!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

So, roll call below please, viroids!

rm a friend of mine is "child-like" & her DH is 6'7 (my DH is 6'6 & the pub always fall silent when they go in to play darts). My friend gave birth in Sept & she really did grow the right sized baby for her. Baby is growing loads now she's out.

WigglyBraddins · 14/11/2014 20:23

When I saw the mw I said I was worried about how I put on 3.5 stone of pure lard when upduffed with DS & how I thought being obese when I gave birth added to the complications (that's what the evidence says). She just said not to worry because I've lost the weight. I'm still worried. Good news tho ladies, I lost all the weight without dieting. Breast feeding & pushing a buggy are weight loss magic.

WigglyBraddins · 14/11/2014 20:28

How do I join the FB group?

car seats DS was in his rear facing ISO fix infant seat for as long as poss. When he grew out of it we got a Britax 2way Elite, which can be forward or rear facing. It's amazing because it's so light & easy to fit (DH does nursery drop off & I do pick up so it swaps cars twice a day). We got it from the In Car Safety Centre. Def worth googling as they're brill & have a good website.

WigglyBraddins · 14/11/2014 20:36

I phoned my parents today to tell them I was pregnant. They are both eccentric but were more eccentric than usual. My DM was out so I told DDad. It went like this:

DDad: ah right.
Me: it's early days, due end of June.
DDad: which June?
Me: um, 2015. If it was 2016 that would be hideous.
DDad: oh right, I was trying to work out which June in the past you meant. I'll get your mother to phone when she gets home. Goodbye.

KatoPotato · 14/11/2014 20:39

I want to join the Facebook group too! My dad is also a bit tactless...

WigglyBraddins · 14/11/2014 20:43

Then DM phoned me back. To give this context I have 2 DBros & 1 DSis. Big DBro & DSis are much older than me & have DCs.

Me:hello
DMum: yessss I'm beating my friend Sue now.
Me: hang on, I've not given birth.
Dmum: well about 4 weeks ago I could tell one of you were pregnant. I was worried it was one of your brothers. In case it was you I bought your DS a lovely kangaroo toy, but the joey has no legs. I'm going to make some & sew them on etc...

I mean, what the actual fuck????

RPopz · 14/11/2014 20:45

Haha, wiggly! You win! Grin

JuniDD · 14/11/2014 21:11

Many congrats chat, very happy for you.

FurryScoob · 14/11/2014 21:12

Grin brilliant wiggly you can't beat bonkers parents!

mountaingirl01 · 14/11/2014 21:27

Wiggly that is hilarious. I haven't told my dad yet, just can't bear the over protection that will begin (he asked my sis if she was sure she could do pilates whilst upduffed).also not telling in laws yet as they went through numerous mcs and so want to protect them till 12weeks. I had to tell mum, couldn't bear lying!

chat that is awesome news :) :) :)

mountaingirl01 · 14/11/2014 21:29

So stabby womble pains are ok??

Leela5 · 14/11/2014 22:15

Wiggly that's hilarious! I love your parents!

mountain oh my god me too! All day today! Not cramps but def stabby womble, achy back! Glad it's not just me!

Dad has redeemed. He just bought me dinner and cried over new baby Smile

BothersomeB · 14/11/2014 22:31

mountain and la - also getting pains most days - sometimes stabby, sometimes crampy, in various womble areas. Give me the fear but apparently normal. Virtual hand hold to you. Smile

Pisghetti · 14/11/2014 22:40

I'm looking forward to a picture of this Joey! I'm also going to ask DS to use 'the internet ate it' as an excuse for forgetting homework Grin

I think most of us are admins for the FB group now! Send me your email address and I'll send you an invite.

teejayem · 14/11/2014 22:42

Wiggly that is hysterical. I also have slightly offbeat parents (yours sound fractionally more so than mine) - when we told my ma and pa we were having a baby the first thing my dad said 'so is it on order then?' ...like I'd just popped into the Nearest baby dealer, had a test drive and placed my deposit down. Grin

ChatEnOeuf · 14/11/2014 22:49

These parents sound great! How they are all still alive I don't know. My mum can be added to the list, with 'well with hindsight, if I'd have had difficulties conceiving, I wouldn't have bothered with IVF' :o

Thanks all, still a bit unbelievable. Occasional heavy/stabby pains here. Figure it's all just burrowing and stretching. Next appt in December :)

Leela5 · 15/11/2014 00:07

My dad seemed very pleased. It was nice Grin

I had to stop eating my very nice pasta dish coz I felt nauseous and like it was going to start coming back up.

Leela5 · 15/11/2014 01:30

bother mine are really uncomfortable tonight, it's making me worried. Also I don't have boob ache and I'm sure last time my boobs were massive and sore by now. Get odd twinge and they feel fuller bit nothing else. 5 weeks today and time is dragging :(

wilmabedrock · 15/11/2014 02:11

Jeez it takes forever to catch up with you bunch.

La,

wilmabedrock · 15/11/2014 02:14

bollocks....

La, you always get worried in the wee small hours. Sounds to me like you're pretty nauseous. My boobs were much more sore in first pg than in the other two. Like anything, it can differ between pgs.

Chat, fantastic news, so happy for you.

I'm only just going to bed - check me out, hardcore partier. Bloody knackered though.

Leela5 · 15/11/2014 05:31

Yup, too much time to think

Wow wil that is hardcore!

Fleurchamp · 15/11/2014 07:14

Oh la your dad sounds like fun, glad he redeemed himself Grin

Love the mad parent stories.

Mine aren't the most normal either. My dad is a free spirit. At uni( at a time when not everyone had a mobile) my housemates found it hilarious that my dad would send me a weekly postcard informing me of his whereabouts. They usually said something along the lines of "Turin, Italy. Weather good, food not as good as expected."
My housemates were convinced he was a spy.

He rocks up unannounced to my sister's house to see my niece and nephew every few weeks and they absolutely adore him, I hope he shows a little interest in my DC.

RPopz · 15/11/2014 07:50

Just got up to discover the cat eating last night's pizza off the kitchen floor... apparently she dragged the box off the side herself. Fucking dick.
Glad your Dad came good in the end La x

I made a point not to worry about pains and twinges, womble or otherwise.. unless they were totally crippling or there was blood. Otherwise I'd be going crazy every other minute! There's some serious shit going on in there ladies don't forget Wink Its growing more now than at any other point, if I remember correctly. Extensive remodelling Grin

DulcetMoans · 15/11/2014 07:51

I got lost viroids! The other Fred got full and I didn't look for the new one, partly out of fear that I won't be here long. But so far so good.

Hope you'll let me back! Smile

laurenamium · 15/11/2014 08:07

I'm loving all the parents stories Grin mine are relatively normal so no funny stories here!

Popz that's a bummer about the pizza, I also woke up to find the animals having a feast- cat had dragged a chicken off the top and him and the dog were demolishing it- bones and all Confused so now I'm peering at the dog in a worried stare incase the bones kill him or something Hmm
