Just Shagging Grads thread 15: Join the viroids for mucus plugs and ball bouncing

Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 15th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is [http://www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/2230396-Remember-Remember-JS-in-November-no-to-bum-fun-car-shagging-and-worms-Control-your-stray-wombles-and-windy-boobs-Shout-WANKBADGERS-at-the-world-of-TTC-and-get-your-cape-on-for-JUST-SHAGGING-32 here] in its 32nd outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs [http://www.mumsnet.com/Talk/postnatal_clubs/1472763-Just-Mumming-Along-viroids-2?pg=36&order= here] for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates! It's a bit quiet at the moment, but with all these upduffed viroids hopefully it won't be for long!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

So, roll call below please, viroids!

Hope you make it to the film in one piece la.

DP is home, and in bed Hmm its a good job he doesn't have weekends like this very often! I'm feeling the need to Hoover the pillow Grin

ChatEnOeuf · 23/11/2014 16:59

Do it, Lauren!

Hope the film's worth the drive La. I'm dreadful for being late to the cinema - I really can't stand sitting for half an hour through trailers for stuff I have no interest in. And I always need a wee just as the film actually starts!

Hope Eli is better soon Cookie

Minion · 23/11/2014 17:32

I'm on mobile site at mo so can't start the new Fred, if anyone else fancies it crack on. Though I'm happy to do it if you wait a bit till I winch myself out of the bath

Quiet day here, sorting out box room, under much duress.
Anyone not getting the nesting urge? I seriously cba with cleaning etc. Doesn't help that I hate doing it anyway.

Husband had enquired about my busy week ahead...

Monday: pluck eyebrows and watch Christmas movies
Tuesday: sleep in and watch TV
Wednesday: who knows
Thursday: Mw at 1:30. Who knows what before and after
Friday: sleep I guess
I am going to meet up with my mate sometime this week so may go out for cake, but I hope it doesn't fall on a 'busy' day, I'll peak too soon!
Husband is very jealous.. Haha!

popz so glad little popz had started their wriggle fest. Mines gone a bit quietrr today but I know as soon as 7 hits, it's party central. Don't it make you worry tho!!

cookie lots of hugs sent Elis way, get better soon little man.

Ooh providing MINIon doesn't put in an early appearance, it's mockingjay for us next weekend may coincide with a trip to tgis if I can get the sympathy vote across

Mmmmmmmmmmm JD sauce!

DulcetMoans · 23/11/2014 17:49

Evening all!

Pleased to hear you've had some movement popz. Just keeping you on your toes! Did you get in to triage though?

Why is everyone doing housework?! Don't the fairies come round and do it? Obviously not as I just had unexpected visitors and I sat here the whole time with a shame face... Hmm

So I had a burger for early tea yesterday at a pub, normal burger, chicken and not double or anything. I felt uncomfortable all night and all morning today. Still don't feel right. Just stuffed! What's that about?!

RPopz · 23/11/2014 18:53

Haha, burgers always do that to me! Usually beef burgers though tbf. Minidulce might be taking up more space than you think Wink

Didn't ring Triage in the end. I've just got my anxiety head on this weekend I think. Babypopz is not a particularly active baby anyway I don't think, compared to what some people seem to have, and I'm always rushing around not tracking movements anyway. Wriggling away in there now after my yummy stew Smile

Min I think I must have your nesting! I can't stop!! And an increasingly frustrated at my heavy/ tiredness and inability to do more than one thing per day!

TheBooMonster · 23/11/2014 18:54

SO a midwife told me that I shouldn't relly on getting regular movements until 24 weeks because babies are small and had I tried ice clod water... like clearly I hadn't already consulted dr Google and tried all the baby moving tips I could find... so I've got to give them a ring tomorrow morning if i've still not felt anything and am still worried, or wait till Thursdays scan. Work were at least worried enough about me that I was banished to checkouts for the day and not allowed to move other than to operate the scanner, and baby finally got it's ass into gear and started moving this evening!

cookie sorry Eli is poorly, fingers crossed he's feeling better soon!

Pisghetti · 23/11/2014 18:56

Evening all!

Glad miniPopz has picked up.

Went out for Sunday lunch today and also had starter and dessert so veeerrrry full. Still thinking of toast with coconut spread though (Lidl - saw it recommended on MN - fricking amazing) dulce I used to struggle with appetite in first tri feeling full all the time - clearly over that for the time being Hmm

friend's partner couldn't make it as his sister had gone into hospital with bleeding (pregnant and due two weeks before me) and we got news during the meal that she'd had the baby Shock haven't heard how she's doing yet.

Haven't done much around house. Taken down the hanging rail in the spare bedroom so it is now a bedroom again. Going to start stripping wallpaper next week Smile

Leela5 · 23/11/2014 19:57

dulcet I get bloating after eating, it's nuts! I feel huge. You might just need a big fart Shock

Jeez pis how many weeks was she? Hope the baby is ok!

Glad your mini versions are all moving a bit more and stopping scaring you. Honestly what a worry pregnancy is!

Film was brilliant! I love the books and it was really good version of the story. Can't believe I've got to wait a year for the rest!

I feel like I've wet myself all the time. Most unnerving, I keep going to check if it's blood. But it seems to be lots of cm.

My nausea is more a slight catch at the back of the throat, rather than full on. Just feel a bit hungover and my nipples are tingling like weirdos

Pisghetti · 23/11/2014 20:11

26 weeks Confused baby is 2lbs3oz but doing ok for now. Bless her.

Think we'll be going to see hunger games tomorrow. DS is a big fan and I read the books just before the first film came out so I like them too.

I thought the cm had stopped but have been finding myself with tonnes of it recently. Starting thinking my waters were leaking last week Hmm

La I felt hungover for about four months. Monstrously unfair!

RPopz · 23/11/2014 21:08

Blimey that is early pis Confused Fingers crossed for the wee one xx

Haha, La - I was always rushing to the loo expecting to see blood Shock. Nowadays I'm wondering if I'll even realise when my waters break such is the volume of the gush sometimes! Pregnancy is delightful Grin

Glad you enjoyed the film Smile

ZylaB · 23/11/2014 21:13

I really want cheese on toast with chunks of corned beef in it and ketchup on top, we don't have any corned beef and I'm in bed and not going out. Bloody DH owes me!! He's still away until this time tomorrow :(

ChatEnOeuf · 23/11/2014 21:21

Wow Pis - that's a great weight for 26weeks though. Keeping gingers crossed they have a straightforward neonatal journey. Are they already in a big unit or have they had to transfer?

Dulcet I am the same, can't eat much at all in the evenings but I snack intermittently all day so I'm keeping the calories going in. Also constant crotch watch, not sure if that will ever stop Grin

Glad the babies are behaving today Smile

teejayem · 23/11/2014 21:31

I'm having a massive plate of cheese and biscuits and the tiniest glass of red to ward off bad scan thoughts. Mr Tee is being a bit of a knobber and can't understand scanxiety at all, and I had a dose of the mil this afternoon who cheerfully announced she was ordering all our nursery furniture for us. I haven't even spoken about furniture and don't intend to for many many weeks. Cue really awkward afternoon with Mr tee making lots of encouraging noises (as it's something he won't have to pay for Hmm) and me making non committal grunts. The set she wants to buy is lovely (and I think vastly overpriced) if you're into that kind of thing, has many items (most of which I'm sure I will never use) and I don't like the colour. She then tried to tell me that I didn't need to buy a travel system and a pram and Moses basket would do.
I feel like a wanker but I really object to being railroaded like this. Mr tee is really happy that she wants to be involved and we had a bit of a row in the car on the way home. What a bloody nightmare, I just want to get tomorrow out of the way first, I don't need to worry about putting noses out of joint!!

RPopz · 23/11/2014 21:33

She sounds like an ass Tee! Shock Offering to buy furniture is very generous but who the fuck expects that means they get to pick it?!?

teejayem · 23/11/2014 21:36

Thank god it's not just me that thinks that popz!! I've been overthinking all evening that maybe I am just being massively ungrateful, it's a hugely generous gesture, but I don't appreciate the arm twisting that goes with it..

RPopz · 23/11/2014 21:53

No, I wouldn't either. Some people just have no idea.... Hmm How about picking something more to your taste and dressing it up wanting to make it cheaper for her? Would she go for that?

Leela5 · 23/11/2014 21:54

tee I'd feel exactly the same. Very kind of them to offer to buy it, but you get to pick it. Quiet word with Mr Tee perhaps?

Hope wee baby is ok. That's a good weight for 28 weeks. Poor wee mite though

I'm in bed Grin with my electric blanket on

teejayem · 23/11/2014 22:09

yeah, I'm trying to look at alternatives popz but tbh, furniture is the last thing on my mind, and I haven't even really looked at any in the flesh. I put it out there to Mr tee that it might be nice if we went and picked something together.... She doesn't need to spend so much money at all...

la winning! my electric blanket is the single greatest purchase I have made in the last three years. It's warming my bed as I speak.

RPopz · 23/11/2014 22:23

Yeah. It is pretty early for furniture I guess! Maybe leave it a while and hope she forgets about it...

Fucking hell I think I'd die under and electric blanket. Currently reaching thermonuclear temperatures at night, even with the windows open...

wilmabedrock · 23/11/2014 23:14

Me too Popz! Keep waking up with sweaty cleavage. (nice). I suppose that'll get me used to the idea of bf again.

I didn't really like the film La. I thought nothing much happened and it smelled a bit like they have just made an extra film to get more money. Haven't read the books though. Although my friend has and she really really didn't like the film.

Wow pis, that's really early. Hope the little one is ok.

I have zero nesting instinct Min. And when I rarely get a notion to do something, I am uncomfy within 3 minutes and so stop.

So it's finally happened. I have an outie. The shame. Surely it's too early for this to happen?!

Pisghetti · 23/11/2014 23:20

She was moved to a a specialist unit before delivery Chat so that's good.

Tee that sounds like a nightmare Confused time to break out the pregnancy rage and put your foot down methinks! Make it clear to Mr Tee you're grateful for the offer but YOU want to choose the items for YOUR first baby so he needs to reign his mother in!

Should not have googled umbilical cord knots Sad

Nessalina · 24/11/2014 03:33

Evening Smile

Tee - that would wind me up something proper Confused If she wants to pay that's lovely, but she should ask what you want first, and even talking about it before your 12 week scan is in bad taste. She should realise that you're nervous!! Can you feign apologetic and claim the room is too small for the set she's talking about?

Good grief, 26 weeks Shock Really hope they're ok... Imagine pregnancy bring cut quite so short! That must be a shock to the system!

Wil - OMG! The outie! I was surprised that mine stayed an innie in the end - considering the size of me Blush I must have a very deep belly button!

My mum is visiting and offered to stay up with J after his evening feed. He ate 9:30-10:30 and he'd normally want more at about 12:30/1am, so I get a first stint of sleep. She's just woken me at 3am with crying baby! Feel quite guilty - should have discussed early feeding cues & made clear not to wait til he cries. He must be ravenous and she must be exhausted! Blush On the plus side, ice just have 4.5hrs sleep... A new record!!

Minion · 24/11/2014 05:03

Omg tee, I'd be raging too. Gifts are lovely and kind and generous but should not come with a side order of guilt and conditions. Then it's not a gift, it's a bribe!
Blimey, my MIL is so normal compared to what I read on MN sometimes. It's time MrTee did some major wife grovelling. Hope he sees your side today.

28 weeks pis... Wowzers.

I've woken up mega early feeling sick. I'm just so impatient now. Come on MINIon. Vacate the premises now please.

Ooh and no outie here either but a very shallow belly button that makes a water dropping on water sound if you tap it... Such fun!

Leela5 · 24/11/2014 06:54

Hooray! Nice one min
