Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 15th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is [http://www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/2230396-Remember-Remember-JS-in-November-no-to-bum-fun-car-shagging-and-worms-Control-your-stray-wombles-and-windy-boobs-Shout-WANKBADGERS-at-the-world-of-TTC-and-get-your-cape-on-for-JUST-SHAGGING-32 here] in its 32nd outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs [http://www.mumsnet.com/Talk/postnatal_clubs/1472763-Just-Mumming-Along-viroids-2?pg=36&order= here] for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates! It's a bit quiet at the moment, but with all these upduffed viroids hopefully it won't be for long!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

So, roll call below please, viroids!

Oooh I have just gone RADGE at my dh. I've had no sleep, I'm pregnant, got a very important meeting this afternoon and my dad is arriving tonight. My dad is a very difficult man so his arrival always brings anxiety.

I put spare bedding in wash first thing coz friend stayed last night. He promised me he'd put it up to dry first thing this morning so it would be ready

He came in wasted last night of course (waking me up).

I have texted and phoned all morning to find out if he'd hung bedding up. No reply.

So instead of preparing for meeting (or having any lunch) I've had to drive home to check. He was still in bed, shrugging when I said how nadi was. I then had to drive to shop to BUY new bedding, drive home again, at which point I heard him get up out of bed hurriedly and go in to turn shower on. I've just chewed him out

Raaaaaaaaaahghghhghhhhhg!!!!!

Pisghetti · 14/11/2014 13:14

Tee that is the cutest!

I spent a good hour researching car seats and bases. I'm never getting that time back.... However car seats have moved on apace since DS was born and wow are they pricey - that's the money saved on the pram reallocated then. Did anyone else know the law is meant to change next year so children have to be rear wards facing until age 4? This has changed my base choices dramatically as while I accept having to upgrade the car seat as baby grows I don't much fancy having to fork out for another base too :-/

Leela5 · 14/11/2014 13:14

Sorry for big rant. Needed that! Hope you're all ok will read posts ASAP x

Leela5 · 14/11/2014 13:15

Ah tee that's so sweet!!! Can I have yours please?

Pisghetti · 14/11/2014 13:16

la I think I'd have the RAGE even if I wasn't pg at that. What a nobber!

Pisghetti · 14/11/2014 13:17

Actually anything that messes up mealtimes gives me the RAGE......

Still wanting cake......

ZylaB · 14/11/2014 13:18

It's my birthday tomorrow, I know DH has booked me a spa day which I'm going to in2 weeks, pg massage and manicure and posh lunch etc, but I just got flowers and chocs delivered, they're lovely and made me cry (in a good pregnant way lol!). Awww Grin

couldbeanyone · 14/11/2014 13:39

Pisghetti have you looked at the britax first class plus? It's a from birth to 4 years seat, we had it for daughter and will use again for this baby. Less than £100 online at the moment. Does not have isofix nor attach to a buggy but I can't stand car seats on buggies and lifting in and out of car so that didn't concern me. Isofix wasn't an issue as my car at the time we bought it didn't have isofix points, although both our cars do now. Where did you see the info about the rearward facing until 4??

Zyla what a lovely DH!!

Cymraes17 · 14/11/2014 13:40

Scan date came this morning! 24th is sooo far away.......

ChatEnOeuf · 14/11/2014 13:51

Proper catch up later, just wanted to let you lovely viroids know there's a real, live baby in my womble! 8+3, so due 23rd June Grin - now to start to navigate the Belgian healthcare system...

teejayem · 14/11/2014 13:51

oooh! we have the same date cym - week on Monday. I've had it for about three weeks already and it is dragging beyond belief!! Mine is 8.30am though so I don't have to wait all day which is a blessing.

la at the moment, you are welcome to him!! he spends 80% of the time trying to redeem himself from preggo rage irritations. We have a humdinger brewing about Christmas. he is very anti xmas, very atheist, very anti commercial, anti capitalist, blah, blah blah. [Yawn]. I on the other hand am a total Santa-whore and although I'm not religious I love all of it. I love cooking, the present wrapping, the decorating, the lights, the tack, the shit tv.... We aren't exactly flush for cash this year, but I still think we can have a good one, but he's basically happy to forget it's even happening, and treat it like a normal day. Except I've jut found out he's invited his Mum, Nan (Some may recall her super-evilness from the last thread) and Sister and Hubs for Xmas day dinner. Convenient. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy to host, but if he thinks for one second we are cancelling the rest of Christmas he's got another bloody thing coming. Miserable wanker.

teejayem · 14/11/2014 13:51

yay for your womble chat!! woo woo!

laurenamium · 14/11/2014 14:29

Oh tee I'm a Christmas whore too Grin in fact we are writing our Santa letters today nothing to do with me wanting to know what to buy

Excellent news chat! Smile

I had my flu jab today and picked up the aspirin. The pharmacist really didn't want to give me it though, rang the doctors first and called me an unusual customer! Grin I thought aspirin in pregnancy was quite common!

Pisghetti · 14/11/2014 14:58

Could I was given the info by a friend but looing into it a bit more I suspect she was wrong... it looks like a new standard will be introduced (not a change to the law) which will probably mean there will be more extended rear facing seats on the market. However I have decided I would like to go ahead and do extended rear facing anyway after my reading this morning. I did consider a birth-4 years car seat but they didn't come out very well in Which tests whereas the one I'm getting is one of the best performers. DP's car has Isofix anchors, mine doesn't. We'll be moving the seat between the cars so the base will only be used in his car. It is also compatible with the pram chassis I have - I wanted this as I used a car seat travel system with DS and found it invaluable for ease of use. We have a carrycot which will get used for longer trips out so baby gets to lie flat but for short trips a car seat fixed to the chassis is much easier.

Chat hooray for womble-lodger!!

BothersomeB · 14/11/2014 14:59

Oh yay Chat - that's fabulous news. Clever womble! Grin

La - if that had been me, I'd have been absolutely furious...one job! He had one fecking job!

Pis - nice use of 'nobber'- one of my faves.

Tee - Christmas always causes stress at our house too...Mr B's Dad is a very critical (French) man and causes untold stress (still recovering from 'bean gate' where he looked at the full, amazing roast lunch I'd spent all day cooking, picked up a green bean, WAVED IT IN MY FACE and said 'this bean is not cooked'.)...they all came for lunch last Christmas and mr B was convulsing from about October...never again. May I suggest you pin the attached fetching image up around your house in an attempt to exorcise the scrooge from Mr Tee?

Pisghetti · 14/11/2014 15:07
Grin

I might put that up in the office....

Fleurchamp · 14/11/2014 15:19

Oh la sorry your DH has been a knobber.
If it's any consolation my DH got in at midnight and proceeded to shove his freezing cold trotters on my nice warm legs. I was in a delicious sleep.

The bedroom reeks of beer today Angry

Loving the term Santa whore. I shall be stealing it Grin

teejayem · 14/11/2014 15:42

I think it's a good take on ho ho ho :)

Nessalina · 14/11/2014 15:47

Great news Chat, you must be so relieved!! Thanks Fab.

Tee - that's crazy, if he hates it so much why had he decided what you're doing?? Hmm I bloody love Xmas, I can't wait! Grin

Re: car seats, apparently it's a European legislation coming in about rear facing seats, but not til 2016 or something? And it's got a long implementation period I think so it's not like forward facing seats you buy now will suddenly be illegal. The lady in Mothercare tried to explain it, but I didn't 100% understand Blush Essentially we wanted a group 0 seat anyway so we can use it with the travel system, and we wanted isofix, and it was only £20 more to get an isofix base that could take the group 1 rear facing, so we thought we might as well. It was expensive though Sad

Fleurchamp - Have we met? Name change or newbie? Grin

Leela5 · 14/11/2014 15:52

chat I'm deliiiiiighted for you!!!!! Hooray! One scary milestone down :)

tee I'm also a Santa whore which is bad because I'm not really religious. I just love Christmas though - family, food, singing, love it.

Christmas miseries are a pain the ass. And anyone who was ride about my Christmas dinner cooking would get given gruel Grin

I've calmed down and scary meeting was fine! No word from mr la :(. He hides when we fight.

zyla that's so sweet!

Leela5 · 14/11/2014 15:52

*rude

Fleurchamp · 14/11/2014 16:00

ness I am a newbie. Still very green!

I have so much to learn, there is a whole world out there that I know nothing about

minimooo · 14/11/2014 16:08

yay chat that's great news! Smile

bother that's awful of mrb's dad - you poor thing. I think I would have tipped the dinner in his lap!
Me and dh both love crimbo Grin I'd love to host Christmas at our house but dh has always insisted that he will ONLY go to his parent's house for Christmas. It'll be our 10th Christmas together this year and it would be really nice to have one Christmas not going to his parent's, but I can't see it happening tbh. Oh well dh's mum is an excellent cook, so it's not all bad!

la I'm feeling the rage for you - what an absolute PITA! Glad your meeting went well though.

Well done getting the nursery finished off zyla, must be so exciting.

Hope they get that tongue tie sorted asap ness.

Any news from furry today? Furry how's things?

I've been feeling lots of movements the last two days. Hope it continues - such a nice feeling bet I'll regret saying that in a few months' time!

KatoPotato · 14/11/2014 16:09

Phew, all went well. 100% shouldn't be doing it.

BothersomeB · 14/11/2014 16:10

mini - they're coming for lunch in December...I've had the beans on since March...
