Just Shagging Grads thread 15: Join the viroids for mucus plugs and ball bouncing

Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 15th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is [http://www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/2230396-Remember-Remember-JS-in-November-no-to-bum-fun-car-shagging-and-worms-Control-your-stray-wombles-and-windy-boobs-Shout-WANKBADGERS-at-the-world-of-TTC-and-get-your-cape-on-for-JUST-SHAGGING-32 here] in its 32nd outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs [http://www.mumsnet.com/Talk/postnatal_clubs/1472763-Just-Mumming-Along-viroids-2?pg=36&order= here] for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates! It's a bit quiet at the moment, but with all these upduffed viroids hopefully it won't be for long!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

So, roll call below please, viroids!

That's lovely, leela.

So far I have managed to keep my mouth shut. Only 2 more weeks until my first scan! Smile

Leela5 · 13/11/2014 23:14

I've found it too hard to lie when out :(

I'm scared of July thread everyone seems to have nausea and I only get tiny bit in morning. I might stay on here as the thread makes me anxious

fattycow · 13/11/2014 23:18

Nah, don't leave July. My nausea isn't bad at all, just today after tea it was horrid! I normally only get is when I don't eat, but I have that when I'm not pregnant as well.

Leela5 · 13/11/2014 23:21

I might leave it for a bit then pop back, think I need a break from symptom spotting it's stressing me out :(

wilmabedrock · 14/11/2014 03:40

Know just what you mean La. I stayed off the buses this time round. Plus it gets confusing with the amount of people.

It is wild out there tonight!

Leela5 · 14/11/2014 03:45

Yeah, i think I'll just stay on here.

Mr La just came home. Even with earplugs in I was woken up by him trying to get key in the door. Oh dear, someone's going to feel shite tomorrow Smile.

I'm scared symptoms have gone away. It's ridiculous but I am. I'm not even 5 weeks yet. Am awake with cold fear, it's not nice. I wish I had a time machine.

wilmabedrock · 14/11/2014 04:12

This time of the night is worst for those thoughts. It's not ridiculous for you to feel like that at all. Perfectly normal I would say.

I had a really hectic day and lying here worrying about less movement than normal. Also worrying that MiniWil is cold or some ridiculous scenario has happened as she is sleeping with a duvet instead of a sleeping bag. But don't want to check in case I wake her. The worrying neuroticism never stops!

Hope you get back to sleep.

Leela5 · 14/11/2014 04:31

:) isn't it daft? Will we ever stop worrying, whatever stage we are at?

Restless legs are a symptom I don't remember having last time. It's like I've been dancing and they are spasming

Love listening to the rain when I'm inside and warm. If I didn't have an important meeting tomorrow I'd stay awake just to listen.

Got a really important meeting, must get some sleep

Nessalina · 14/11/2014 04:35

A big hug and a little hooya for you La SmileThanks This early stage is so stressful, you just need to do your best to put it out of your mind easier said than done Basically no amount of worrying will make any difference to what's going on in there, so try to think positive and look forwards. Are you thinking about an early scan? That might help chill you out a bit?

Lol, I'm glad to be the cautionary tale to get you all doing your pelvic floors! Grin

My milk came in today, J has been troughing like a little piggy!!

wilmabedrock · 14/11/2014 06:33

Ah that's good Ness. What's the score with the tongue tie?

I hate listening to the rain/wind. We're up a hill and it's been so loud all night I have had bugger all sleep.

laurenamium · 14/11/2014 07:07

La I stayed off the big due in april thread too. There was just too many on there for me really, I much prefer this one Smile

Leela5 · 14/11/2014 07:17

Aww ness that's lovely. How are you feeling?

Yeah, I think I'll stay here - I'd just end up worrying symptoms don't match up and I'm trying to keep sane and zen. Mr La is snoring loudly, hee hee

RPopz · 14/11/2014 07:21

Those antenatal Freds can be scary. There's so many people on them you end up seeing every kind of scenario possible and it puts the fear of God into you!! Plus conversation is impossible to keep track of! Stay here with us where its warm La Smile

Yay Ness! Happy feeding Smile

Glad all's well now Bother

I don't think the worry stops til it's born... and then it turns into new kind of worry!! Confused

wilmabedrock · 14/11/2014 07:30

Btw please can I have a "what a lovely neat bump you have" compliment? FIL told me I was the size of a house and MIL agreed that I was much bigger than last time Grin . Ah has done wonders for my confidence.

rm00054 · 14/11/2014 07:46

Talking of bumps, I know I'm a newbie but I'm really worried a baby won't fit inside me! I'm what dh likes to call 'child sized" Hmm I've got the week-by-week book and it's got actual size pictures in. I measured the full term one and it literally did not fit between my crotch and nipples! If my bump has to stick out so much so there's space for baby, what's to stop me from being too forward heavy and falling over?! although I do have a rather large bum, maybe it was always intended to be a pregnancy counter balance
Weird fears, huh?!

laurenamium · 14/11/2014 07:50

Rm I think we grow babies to fit us mostly. I'm not an expert but I would imagine you being small might just mean you won't grow a 10 pounder Grin I could be totally wrong though. You don't see many people toppling over GrinGrin

ZylaB · 14/11/2014 07:52

ness that's great :)

wil why was your day stressful?

la I avoided the March bus for a while, just popping in to read, it gets very worrying if someone has bad news, stay with us where it's warm and cosy! :)

Finishing painting the nursery today squee!

ZylaB · 14/11/2014 08:07

Also, think I felt baby hiccups this morning! Grin

mountaingirl01 · 14/11/2014 08:26

La I'm not sick at all, absolutely no nausea. Keep reminding myself that my sis didn't either. Was having cramps all through the night though (felt like uti - its not) so now on increased knicker watch :(

Leela5 · 14/11/2014 08:30

Ooh mountain me too! Really stabby ones last night! Perhaps we have pregnancy ESP? Grin

wil look at you, what a lovely neat bump you've got!

zyla hooray! Another milestone Smile

rm hopefully you'll have a baby in proportion like Lauren said - I'm envying your child-like figure! I struggle to keep weight down mostly coz I don't do any exercise

Pisghetti · 14/11/2014 10:01

Wow Wil what a lovely neat bump you have! Well jel Envy

Wow Zyla you're super organised! I have at least managed to empty the clothes out of mine (now in a second hand bargain wardrobe in my own bedroom) so now it looks like a spare room at least.....

teejayem · 14/11/2014 12:31

Happy Friday Ladies!
I am about to go and sample the Starbucks hot choc offering, I feel 5 Black forest ones might be overkill. Blush

Threw a paddy this morning as I have systematically popped all the buttons off my lovely grey military coat over the course of this week, and then couldn't get my parka zipped up. Mr Tee had to do it as if I were a small child while I had a full bawl. I am a knob.

Nessalina · 14/11/2014 12:36

Yes, I steered clear of the November bus - with over 100 posters it was impossible to keep track. And yes, lots of bad news and scary symptom spotting. This thread has been fab coz we're all at different stages, so the further on ones can reassure the newbies that what they're going thru is normal!!

We've been given a referral for his tongue tie, so I think we'll be going to a clinic next week Smile Fx they get it snipped ASAP

It's pouring down here too - I'm not leaving the sofa!

Sorry rm - I just lolled at the thought of you toppling over forwards!! Grin Don't worry, our bodies are pretty smart, I'm sure yours won't grow a baby that's too big! Grin

Hurrah for nursery Zyla! Sooo satisfying when these things get done.

Mountain and La - stabby womble pains are definitely par for the course, fun fun fun Grin

Tee - poor you!!! I'm sure it won't be the last preg related tantrum Grin

laurenamium · 14/11/2014 12:48

Sorry tee but your parka fastening image made me GrinGrin

I'm so glad its Friday today!

KatoPotato · 14/11/2014 12:52

Awww Tee, I love the image of mrTee zipping up your coat, that's impossibly endearing!

La I had to leave my May due club, the place was driving me to distraction, when you have so many people together discussing the same stage of the same thing then it's bound to cause alarm.

Far better being here where everyone has genuine empathy and genuinely remembers how you're feeling!

15 weeks today. Had the consultant this morning to discuss the fact I want an ELCS. She was a bit Hmm but I stuck to my guns, took her leaflet about risks and percentages and I've to go for another chat at 32 weeks.

Preggo risk assessment at work today too, and I need to speak to her about the fact I feel pressurised by my HR, compliance manager and training partner to continue delivering PMVA training (control and restraint) and want her to say I don;t have to do it anymore! The risk asesment I use for my delegates is strict in that I'm not allowed to train pg women, so why should I have to do it?
