Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 15th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is [http://www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/2230396-Remember-Remember-JS-in-November-no-to-bum-fun-car-shagging-and-worms-Control-your-stray-wombles-and-windy-boobs-Shout-WANKBADGERS-at-the-world-of-TTC-and-get-your-cape-on-for-JUST-SHAGGING-32 here] in its 32nd outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs [http://www.mumsnet.com/Talk/postnatal_clubs/1472763-Just-Mumming-Along-viroids-2?pg=36&order= here] for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates! It's a bit quiet at the moment, but with all these upduffed viroids hopefully it won't be for long!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

So, roll call below please, viroids!

I hate it when DH goes away too, it's so quiet in the house. It's not often and it's usually one night, two at a maximum, but getting into bed feels lonely! I wouldn't like it if he works away but I guess you get used to it and it becomes your routine. His dad was in the navy so spent months away from his family at a time. That would be tough.

Poo congratulations time again! Three this week! Had to get woken up to do two of them though... Hmm stupid body. Now sat on the landing trying to decide if I feel sick or if I'm hungry.

ChatEnOeuf · 22/11/2014 07:43

DH is just back after a week away here. To be honest I don't mind too much - or maybe I'm just so used to it that I can't remember any different! Skype helps. I do need him to change the lightbulbs though, I go dizzy reaching up at the moment Hmm

I do love a chicken parmo. Not now though - now, the thought of it makes me want to hurl but with a part Geordie heritage I couldn't now :)

Great poo news Dulcet! I had the same conundrum this morning. Had a drink, realised I was hungry. Sickness now half settled which is about as good as it gets here.

Leela5 · 22/11/2014 07:46

Congrats on the poo dulcet!

I've entered the realm of constipation also - was there for half an hour at 2am trying to talk it out.

Just looked up this parmo thing. Wtf?! It looks absolutely minging! But my favourite 3am pissed snack is either onion ring supper, chips n cheese or quesadilla with a whole jar of salsa flung on top. Dh says he knows when I've come home posses coz there's smell of burning tortilla and an empty jar of salsa sat on the side. One time I must've run out of snacks coz I woke up next to a tub of Philadelphia and a fork.

kato hooray for breasticle popping! Was it properly gross? When am I going to get to see pic of the bollicle? I feel I've missed out...you'll need to give us a count down to reveal so I don't miss it again.

I hate my dh going away but he rarely does. The mc brought us a bit closer and I hated being away from him. I'm less clingy now but I love the nights he's not working and is at home.

In the end I had a very 'pregnant' day yesterday. Nearly fell asleep at desk. Told a colleague I'm pregnant coz she found me trying to have a kip in the corridor. She said there's a room at work apparently where you're meant to do first aid pregnant ladies can go to sleep!!!! Apparently it's available at lunch for you to go and have a wee kip. First thing Monday I'm finding that room!

Went to dinner with a friend. She knows I'm pg so I didn't have to worry about pretending/hiding. It's lovely to have someone to sit and chat to about it. I've not told too many people but I'm also not massively hiding it, if the situation comes up then I just admit. I'm not a good liar and they know about the mc. It's all work colleagues tho and they don't know my family or friends to give it away.

After dinner I had a massive food baby bump. It was ridiculous, I actually waddled home.

Leela5 · 22/11/2014 07:50

chat I'm half Geordie! born in Ashington so technically Geordie but brought up in Edinburgh and England and my dad's Scottish

Leela5 · 22/11/2014 07:58

I've just hit the 6 week mark. The next week and a half is the scary one. I feel good though, keeping positive.

dulcet. you booked dr/mw yet? X

DulcetMoans · 22/11/2014 08:20

Scary times la but you have the scan to look forward to as well to get you through. And us of course!

Booked GP for Monday when I went for jabs. She has to refer me to midwife so take it from there. Just worried about seeing midwife and finding out it was already gone again - feel stupid! But no reason to think it's not all ok at the moment.

I'm in bed watching Elf. Yeah, I rock!

RPopz · 22/11/2014 08:25

Halfway there Smile and then you'll find new stuff to worry about Wink

  • a strong cuppa coffee sorts me right out Grin

Been up since 4 feeling sick and refluxy and in abject terror about childbirth for some reason... Stupid brain.

RPopz · 22/11/2014 08:27

I LOVE ELF!!

Leela5 · 22/11/2014 08:32

Fx for gp dulcet, we will get there and all will be fine
Love. Elf!

RPopz · 22/11/2014 08:46

So annoying you have to see the GP first. Mine didn't even do anything... didn't even make me poas, just took my word for it!!

wilmabedrock · 22/11/2014 08:57

I love Elf too! And Buddy's theory about the four main food groups. Although he needs to add in cheese.

Thanks Ness, that was a very succint explanation. We are on a tracker, never had fixed rate as bought when interest lates were already low and any change will result in an increase in payments. Think we will wait it out until spring and see what's happening then. So good to have proper grown ups to ask Grin .

Congrats on poo Dulcet. Maybe ask GP if there's anything you can take to help situation. It's great you have your app.

My friend's husband is in the navy and she's pg. He's away already and won't be back until after the baby is born. I couldn't put up with that.

ZylaB · 22/11/2014 09:05

I've never had anyone ask me to POAS or check my blood to make sure they believe me....

wilmabedrock · 22/11/2014 09:20

Don't the midwives stick a sneaky stick in it the first time you give a sample?

Leela5 · 22/11/2014 09:21

I have to take sample to each mw appointment

RPopz · 22/11/2014 09:24

Yep you take a sample for the midwife everytime. They test for sugar and protein. No sneaky preg tests!

wilmabedrock · 22/11/2014 09:38

Oh, I always assumed they checked it was positive the first time. Guess your bloods would show if you weren't though?

RPopz · 22/11/2014 10:45

Not unless they request hcg testing. Usually just full blood count and blood grouping for your booking bloods. Different hospital trusts might be different though...

KatoPotato · 22/11/2014 10:52

I think the fact I burst into tears when she looked up the birth weight in grams of DS might have been pg proof to my booking in midwife

RPopz · 22/11/2014 11:01

Hehe kato Smile

laurenamium · 22/11/2014 13:11

Grin Kato!

I'm so annoyed at DP, his phones off. His mums trying to get in contact with him- he didn't stay there last night which is where he was supposed to be, and now his phones off. I know he will be drunk on a mates sofa but its not the point. What if something happened with the pregnancy and I needed to get in touch Confused he's in so much trouble!

wilmabedrock · 22/11/2014 13:29

Oh Lauren I would go mental. Hope he isn't a prick about.

wilmabedrock · 22/11/2014 13:30

it.

Leela5 · 22/11/2014 13:44

Oh lauren I know just how you feel. Mr La was a party boy and occasionally he'll still go out all night and be uncontactable. I get so angry because exactly as you say - what if there was an emergency?

The comforting thing is you know, as I would, that he's on someone's sofa and he's just sleeping off a big night. But I know it doesn't help you :(

Hope he gets in touch soon, what a silly boy. They really do need to grow up sometimes. I had massive go at mine this morning about him becoming a father and needing to grow up.

Stick on a film and cuddle up with your little one and hopefully he'll get in touch soon. xx

laurenamium · 22/11/2014 14:09

Oh no he will be suitably sorry when he sorts himself out...I'm glad it's not just mine la, but I'm sorry you have to deal with a party boy too! I'm playing ponies with DD and my friend, and I'm going for a catch up with another friend tonight so ill be nice and busy! If he hasn't been in touch by 5 ill message his friend... then he will be in the dog house properly. We definitely need a chat about growing up though!

mountaingirl01 · 22/11/2014 15:04

Possible tmi question...but past 2 days I seem to have had an increase in cm, just milky type but a bit worried as had this lat time possibly when I was mmc. Anyone else looks around desperately
