Just Shagging Grads thread 15: Join the viroids for mucus plugs and ball bouncing

Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 15th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

It's a bit quiet at the moment, but with all these upduffed viroids hopefully it won't be for long!

Had flu jab this morning, achy arm this afternoon, doesn't help that DC s 2&3 keep 'accidentally' patting me on my arm.

Oh La - happy days for the sicky feeling! Why do we do it to oursleves? I woke up this morning thinking 'I don't feel pregnant...panic!' but within 20 minutes was boaking into the toilet bowl.

Dulcet - don't worry, everyone's so paranoid these days that if there was an possibility of it being an issue, they wouldn't do it. Totally get the worry though. x

at what point does nesting kick in...I could really do with in built motivation right now... Got someone coming to have a look round on Monday for childcare so need to sort paperwork for that tonight, DP is away with work until Sunday, and the house is a wreck...I should be cleaning right now but I'm sat MNing!

Re dopplers, apparently a smartphone can turn inti one.. unfortunately I also own both stethoscope and pinhard when if i make it past 12w this could will become obbsessive

I never bought into the doppler thing, by the time I could reliably find a HB the baby would be moving. And I know too much about bad things happening after people were reassured by dopplers. Curse of the job

Aw Mountain, it's good to know doctors freak out too! I think if any one of us had that equipment we'd be obsessed.

Basically Ness I want to know if we should switch to a fixed rate mortgage or if it's ok to wait it out a bit. I wondered how long before the interest rate rises, the banks will start to push up their fixed rates. Feels a bit like playing a game of chicken!

You'd have to be pretty flexible to use a pinard on yourself wouldn't you? We had a go with a cardiac stethoscope a few weeks ago without joy.

Not at all Cym! I knew you didn't have to have a Welsh speaker in the family to enrol as DS nearly went to one (we moved just before he hit school age) but wasn't sure whether it would hold the child back. I've been meaning to learn for years... It wasn't compulsory to GCSE when I was at school. I have plenty of vocabulary but can't string a sentence together.

I'm really pleased I will have 3 mat leave friends which is great as less pressure to feel I must talk to people at baby groups about sick wee poo and sleep

I think I saw one on one of those programmes where fat people are convinced they don't eat much and just have slow metabolisms and then a dietician looks at what they're eating and does the cat bum face. I wonder what I could have in place of kebab meat.....

Awww kato and anyone else up in the motherland if there's one thing I wish you could post me it would be an onion ring supper with salt n vinegar and 2 pickled onions. I miss being able to get chips and onion rings at 4 in the morning. Yum yum yum

Yes this afternoon I was ever so sleeeeepy! I went to beauty slain again at lunch, the one that burnt my fanjo. They've done a patch test on my bits - on one side I've got one cream and other side I've got aloe Vera. I've got to email her to say which one doesn't react as they thing I'm allergic. So I'm expecting a lovely red peely lopsided vajayjay by midnight. Luvverly!

Dinner plans are being discussed here. Think DH wants an Indian but we don't do takeaway normally. Hes even used the 'we need the boxes for our sandwiches' argument.
