Just Shagging Grads thread 15: Join the viroids for mucus plugs and ball bouncing

Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 15th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is [http://www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/2230396-Remember-Remember-JS-in-November-no-to-bum-fun-car-shagging-and-worms-Control-your-stray-wombles-and-windy-boobs-Shout-WANKBADGERS-at-the-world-of-TTC-and-get-your-cape-on-for-JUST-SHAGGING-32 here] in its 32nd outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs [http://www.mumsnet.com/Talk/postnatal_clubs/1472763-Just-Mumming-Along-viroids-2?pg=36&order= here] for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates! It's a bit quiet at the moment, but with all these upduffed viroids hopefully it won't be for long!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

So, roll call below please, viroids!

Ooh yes to birth stories.

Good luck lasting six months with baby in your room Zyla Wink . Well done on getting it all done though. I didn't have MiniWil's done until she was a couple of months old.

I loved being a SAHM. Might feel differently with two though...

Leela5 · 20/11/2014 16:17

Awwwwwwww furry! Gorgeous!

Hugs to little Eli cookie hope he feels better soon

Well done min nice one!

I'm struggling today - went to trade show in London. Having thought I wasn't getting very tired throughout the day (I collapse in eve though!) i was really struggling! Had to keep finding somewhere to sit down, been very dizzy and spaced out. Now on train home, some fucker behind me keeps putting tray table up and down making this horrendous screeching noise and all I can smell is a strong smell of salt and vinegar crisps which is making me feel sick. I want to go back there and tell the person I'm going to knock them out if they don't stop that bloody screeching noise. Aaaaaaaaaaaagh!!!! People on public transport are vile! There's also a used toothpick next to my seat that I can't stop looking at. It's gross. Why would you leave a toothpick on a train seat?

Yes please for birth stories!

freshstart4us · 20/11/2014 16:27

La welcome to the PREGNANCY RAGE!!!! LOL

But yes to vile people on public transport. Probably all perfectly nice when not on public transport but somehow it just brings out the very worst in people!!

That having been said, DD did the screechy-table thing a few weeks ago, about 15 times before I managed to get her to understand that "the man in the seat in front is trying to have a nap". Blush

Leela5 · 20/11/2014 16:32

I wouldn't mind too much if it wasn't the. Most. Awful. Sound. Known. To. Man! Next time I'm bring DW40 on the train. Take that screechy table!

Yes - I've been in such a great mood today but this has brought RAGE!

Also really need a wee...

wilmabedrock · 20/11/2014 16:39

This is why I drive almost everywhere La! Yuck, hate busy trains. How is it not 6 o'clock yet?!

TinkerBlue · 20/11/2014 16:49

Hello, just nipping across from the jsers Fred to say well done and congratulations furryscoob what a beautiful little bundle and fab choice of name! Flowers. Smile

freshstart4us · 20/11/2014 16:55

Hi Tink, bye Tink!

ChatEnOeuf · 20/11/2014 16:56

Aw Cookie hope Eli is better soon. Smaller feeds and often is often what they need when they're snotting. Unfortunately we're right into snot season (it's a welcome respite from D&V season but still pretty grim) and his immune system is a touch naive.

Ha, La your pregnancy rage makes me laugh. I'm struggling to work out if DD is deliberately being a disobedient little shit today or whether after a week at home alone and sick, I'm feeling the strain Grin

I always reverse into spaces, there are cars there to guide you (!) and it's much easier to drive out when you can see. My driving instructor did inform me that I reversed like a man though - never worked out if he meant that I was good at it or just very speedy. It's one bit of driving I'm much better than DH at!

Birth stories when you're ready please!

*Zyla...nursery pics? Pretty please?

ZylaB · 20/11/2014 17:08

chat I'll do pics when everything is up on the walls, so in about a month when the stickers are up :)

Minion · 20/11/2014 17:30

I managed to accost a man to help me reverse out, bless him. Thee are some nice decent people around still.

cookie are you doing the Vicks on the feet covered in socks thing? My friend G swears by it for snots and sniffs.

Ooh yes, nursery pics wanted here too! Shall we all post ours?

Well the little tinker, is head down but not engaged, BP is a smidge higher than normal but MW not worried and there's a little protein in pee but she said cause I couldn't get some out as I'd been peeling for england all day, she thinks it's from the discharge,,, nice! Wants to see me in a week again but left with a parting shot of 'just make sure your bags are ready' and gave me a knowing look...did t help I was in middle of a massive Toni braxton at that time.

Pisghetti · 20/11/2014 17:50

Hope it's not too long a journey La

Glad the drive went well Min! Sounds like another JS bundle will be with us shortly...... I can normally reverse into spaces quite well but it took me three attempts at the train station this morning. It was getting embarrassing! It wasn't a small space or anything Hmm

Right I'd best get going - I'm hobnobbing in that there London tonight. Hoping to duck out early. I got an upgrade at the hotel. I'm not ungrateful - but why does that only happen when I have to go out for the evening and can't enjoy it?!

Leela5 · 20/11/2014 17:56

Ooh min I just realised how close we are to your EDD! I'd thought you were jan in my head for some reason. Weee! How exciting! Remind me, do you know if it's a boy or girl?

Who of those not yet at 20wks are going to find out? I've always said I want a surprise but dh really wants to know.

Leela5 · 20/11/2014 17:58

I'd love to see nursery with stickers zyla! We are in rented house so I'm going to use stickers too.

Home and flopped on bed with cat. London was knackering. Just sent rage text to dh coz yet again he's left back door unlocked. Seriously - why is it so hard to check things are locked before leaving?

freshstart4us · 20/11/2014 18:07

La my DH used to leave the back gate AND the back door unlocked, day and night! I never go out that way, so used to have to make an effort to remember, drove me bonkers. Had some tools stolen from the garden, he's been a bit more circumspect since and now goes out the front door and walks all the way around to avoid unlocking/locking the back door. MEN.

Forgot to mention my own milestone - 10 weeks today, woo hoo! Feel sick when I eat, sick when I don't. But happy happy happy. And yes, will def find out if we are team pink or team blue, I'm just not that patient. Grin

Minion · 20/11/2014 18:28

la officially 2 weeks and 6 days away but couldn't see whether boy or girl at scan, so getting anxious now!

Huzzah for 10 weeks fresh!

RPopz · 20/11/2014 18:31

Public transport and pregnancy are not a great mix La!! First trimester was all about not vomming on anyone... third trimester is all about giving everyone the death stare when I have to stand up all the way!! Glad you're home now. I'm usually the door leaver opener in this family... Blush

Hope Eli picks up soon cookie.

YY for nursery pics Zyla! My nesting frenzy has stalled a bit recently so our nursery is about three quarters done.... All the books are in alphabetical order though, obvs Hmm

Hooray for solo driving and upside down babies Min Grin

I feel sick as a dog today.... Sad Roll on the weekend!!

RPopz · 20/11/2014 18:31

3 weeks Min Shock Shock Aaargh!! Grin

couldbeanyone · 20/11/2014 19:02

Congrats furry!

Bit late to the conversation but anomaly scan is 3 dec so joining the list of December scans. I don't want to know the sex but DH does.

Fleurchamp · 20/11/2014 19:15

Well done min I clearly remember the first time I drove on my own, couldn't remember how to get anywhere and would panic if I couldn't park where i wanted to.

I am still pretty rubbish at parking but at least I persevere, if DH can't park in a space he will drive another half a mile until he finds somewhere bigger. I am constantly having to track the car down after he has been out (we don't have a drive and our street is quite narrow).

la I don't think we are going to find out. Tbh I haven't really thought about it but it's not really the done thing in our families.

wilmabedrock · 20/11/2014 19:15

Ooh Min, you are getting close. Don't believe midwives though. Mine told me I was however many fifths engaged at 38 weeks and it wouldn't be long and I was still bloody waiting 2 weeks after my date. She totally got my hopes up.

I'm having a totally emotional 'mummy day' which I would never admit to anyone in real life. Can't believe how big MiniWil has got and how weird it's going to be with a different baby around. I hope it doesn't mess up our relationship.

ChatEnOeuf · 20/11/2014 19:27

We kept it a surprise with DD, and I'd like to do so again this time. DH wants to know, which he didn't before...

minimooo · 20/11/2014 19:30

Yes please to nursery pictures zyla! I'm interested in seeing pics of stickers too - I'm considering doing the same.

Sorry for crappy train journey la. Glad you're home now. My dh is also a serial door-leaver-opener. He has left the back door wide open all night on more than one occasion Shock Drives me mad!

I'm pretty sure we will find out whether we're pink or blue at our 20-week scan. I love the idea of keeping it a surprise, but not sure i can wait that long. Only 2.5 weeks to go!

Well done on the driving min! 3 weeks, eek! Smile

Have a good evening out pis!

HungryHorace · 20/11/2014 19:31

I would've found out with DS, but DH didn't want to, so we didn't. And I'm glad we didn't either now, as it was lovely finding out on the day (a treat after having been in hospital for the week prior!).

RPopz · 20/11/2014 19:33

Team yellow FTW! I wasn't too bothered either way but DH really wanted a surprise and I'm quite glad we did now Smile

RPopz · 20/11/2014 19:34

The only downside to team yellow is, I desperately want one of these....

But what colour to get??? Confused Grin
