Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 15th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is [http://www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/2230396-Remember-Remember-JS-in-November-no-to-bum-fun-car-shagging-and-worms-Control-your-stray-wombles-and-windy-boobs-Shout-WANKBADGERS-at-the-world-of-TTC-and-get-your-cape-on-for-JUST-SHAGGING-32 here] in its 32nd outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs [http://www.mumsnet.com/Talk/postnatal_clubs/1472763-Just-Mumming-Along-viroids-2?pg=36&order= here] for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates! It's a bit quiet at the moment, but with all these upduffed viroids hopefully it won't be for long!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

So, roll call below please, viroids!

Chat I have a scan on 8th and 24th December too Smile very busy month for scans!

teejayem · 18/11/2014 15:46

Just had a lady from another dept pop up to us to hand in her Mat leave details, I had no idea she was pregnant! She has the neatest bump and when my colleague asked her when she was due, she said first week of Jan! :o how are some people so dainty?!
I've enviously scoffed a pack of jaffa cakes in jealous rage, and now I feel sick. huff.

ZylaB · 18/11/2014 15:55

That's great news ness Grin

Pisghetti · 18/11/2014 15:58

Ooh fab news Ness! Hopefully midnight sterilisation will be a thing of the past now Grin

Leela5 · 18/11/2014 15:58

It was buttercream sponge

ZylaB · 18/11/2014 16:18

Mm cake. I bought some cream horns for tea tonight but I'm starving, AIBU to do a big injection and eat them both and hide the box before DH gets home, then tell him it's healthy fruit for pudding?? Wink

BothersomeB · 18/11/2014 16:25

La - my question is not why are you taking cake out of the bin, but WTF are you doing putting cake IN the bin? I had syrup cake for breakfast Blush and beans on toast with cheese on top for lunch...and now rather fancying a mid-afternoon snack...

Wiggly - hooray for scan buddies on the 23rd! I'm on at 11am...you? We are cheating a bit and having an early one on the 6th with NIFTY testing though.

Fleur - I genuinely have no idea how anyone is expected to do actual work during the first trimester...to much to worry think about!

ZylaB · 18/11/2014 16:36

We had nifty bother :) are you going to find out if you're team pink or blue or are you keeping it a surprise?

teejayem · 18/11/2014 16:51

zyla doooo it....... :o

No scan for me in Dec, just poky back consultant instead..

I really want tinned hot dogs.... and cake.

mountaingirl01 · 18/11/2014 16:55

Gahh so much for requesting an early scan.. Dh (who I shared lifts with today) forgot about my docs appointment so I missed it. Can't see her again till 1st Dec and have to see Dr before I'm allowed to see mW. Great. Seriously it's like as soon as I'm not in front of him he completely forgets about me, this was so important to me today :( :(

Now, to add to my fear of the seed dying inside me.. Mc can't be brought on by huge temper tantrum can it??? literally screamed and cried like a 2year old

Minion · 18/11/2014 16:57

I wish I looked heavily pregnant for the sympathy ness, as it is I still look about 30 weeks ish.. I may takea brisk walk just before and get all sweaty, sit there huffing and puffing and take an age getting in the car... For added effect!

TheBooMonster · 18/11/2014 17:04

zyla cream horns! Wish I'd left the house and actually gone to morrisons now :( Yes! eat them both! one for you and one for bump, you're sharing :D

bah! Normally leave the laundry to DH (because I'm just too lazy) but have had to do an emergency load of maternity stuff and pjs because I sneezed Blush and realised as a result I have no clean clothes, and no clean pjs, just as well I found out really as tomorrow is tumble tots and hiding away in the bedroom whilst Sam explains to his parents I'm otherwise disposed and can't actually leave the house would have been seriously awkward!

Glad everything went well today nes

scoob I was so sure you were in labour! how overdue are you now?

oh mountain did you hit him with a stick?! I can't think that it would bring on an MC, I seem to have spent most of my pregnancy so far with rage turned up to 11!

BothersomeB · 18/11/2014 17:15

Zyla - we do want to know, but what if the test finds problems? Can we say 'if all clear - tell us, but if not, don't'? Wondering whether to wait and find out at later scan...but I'm an impatient mofo so not sure if I can! Hey, I'm 5ft 5 - does that make me tall too?

Aw Mountain - that's terrible - I'd be fuming. Can you see a different doctor any earlier? Pretty sure tantrums don't cause MC - otherwise no babies would ever get born! Wink

ZylaB · 18/11/2014 17:15

Haha boo I like that reasoning! Unfortunately I just found out DH's course finished early so he'll be home very soon and I won't get chance :(. Ahh well, next time :)

ZylaB · 18/11/2014 17:18

bother we were asked if we wand to know when they did he blood test, I'm sure you could say "yes but only if I'm low risk for everything". Our results were given over the phone, then emailed to us, so again, I'm sure they could tell you gender only if stuff is ok? You may just need to remind them at the start of the conversation though. I think the genetic results are more reliable %wise than scan ones, so if you want to know, take advantage if this chance :)

WigglyBraddins · 18/11/2014 17:29

bother our scan's at 2.30. It's good your doing NIFTY. I'm worried that withthe scan date being so close to Christmas that we won't get the results back til after Christmas and I'll spend the whole of the holiday worrying.

How long does it normally take to get the results of the bloods back after your 12 week scan?

Seeing mw this Friday for some blood tests. I'm a nightmare to bleed...last time they had to send me to the flobotomist. I hope she's feeling skilly.

Eat both of the mf cream horns...think of all the calcium that baby needs for growing bones and you need for milk production. And why would anyone put a butter cream cake in the bin???

RPopz · 18/11/2014 18:23

Yay for early scan La!! Grin

Scoob ARGH! Hopefully midwife is right and you'll progress better at home and relaxed. Hugs Thanks

If you have NT and bloods done at 12 week scan you should get a result within a couple of weeks if its low risk. High risk you'll prob find out within 2 or 3 days.

Stabby fanjo day Sad

RPopz · 18/11/2014 18:25

Mountain I've also spent most of my preg at rage mode 11! Grin Your bean will be fine with a bit of a tantrum. Can't believe your DH tho Sad Angry Hope he is making it up to you in lavish fashion!!! Hugs xx Thanks

Fleurchamp · 18/11/2014 18:28

Ok, newbie question NIFTY??

When does one have this? And is it painful/ intrusive/ available on the NHS?

I heard about Harmony and we are considering having this.

Fleurchamp · 18/11/2014 18:31

Sorry you missed your appointment mountain I put everything in DH's phone calendar so that he doesn't forget.

He still does, but at least I can shout at him even more for it Grin

ZylaB · 18/11/2014 18:52

fleur the nifty test is the same as the harmony test, just a different name as a different lab in a different place and usually a bit cheaper because of this. Some hospitals do it, or are trialling, but it's mostly private.

ZylaB · 18/11/2014 18:55

I had mine done at 10 weeks as that's the earliest you can do it, scan to check dates then just a blood test. We got the results before our 12 week NT scan at the hospital, which is what I wanted so I knew if I was low or high risk before the scan. I then had the scan, but the hospital said there was no point doing the usual bloods as the genetic ones I'd already had are more reliable!

cookielove · 18/11/2014 19:00

I don't have a scan booked in for December (I feel left out)

Is it bedtime yet?

DulcetMoans · 18/11/2014 19:12

I don't either cookie but I should hopefully get one. My NHS trust offer harmony as part of the process now I think. First ones outside of London. Sure she told me that last time...

All this talk of cakes and cream horns did not help stop me eating half a bag of salt and vinegar sticks at home. Oh god!

mountain that truly sucks. I hope he is suffering!

tee, I think you should ask for more evidence! She's faking!

wilmabedrock · 18/11/2014 19:45

Ha Cookie, not sure they'd find much scanning you.

How many weeks are you Dulcet? Don't leave it too long to make your booking app or you'll have more waiting to do.

Mountain that would give me the absolute rage! How frustrating.

Aw no Furry, can't believe they sent you home. Fx the little one decides to vacate the premises some time tonight.

Happy Mat Leave Min! Presents sound lovely. Good luck with your test tomorrow.

I've spent the whole day feeling really uncomfortable. My digestive system feels really messed up. I'm the opposite of that woman at your work Tee. 7 months gone but look 9.
