Just Shagging Grads thread 15: Join the viroids for mucus plugs and ball bouncing

Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 15th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is [http://www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/2230396-Remember-Remember-JS-in-November-no-to-bum-fun-car-shagging-and-worms-Control-your-stray-wombles-and-windy-boobs-Shout-WANKBADGERS-at-the-world-of-TTC-and-get-your-cape-on-for-JUST-SHAGGING-32 here] in its 32nd outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs [http://www.mumsnet.com/Talk/postnatal_clubs/1472763-Just-Mumming-Along-viroids-2?pg=36&order= here] for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates! It's a bit quiet at the moment, but with all these upduffed viroids hopefully it won't be for long!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

So, roll call below please, viroids!

Agree with bother, having people at the same stage all the time can bring as much worry as support as no-one knows what is going on!

What a very sophisticated event you had pis! Grapes are pretty uninspiring though.

Crisp eating context - you are on! Fancying just some plain salted nachos right now. Because I didn't eat enough of them yesterday clearly...

(I know I said I am letting it go but I just want to add it was FMU along with all the others. Wasn't less concentrated I don't think. Sad But hopefully it will be darker by the time I get home again.)

wilmabedrock · 17/11/2014 11:01

Nooooooo Dulcet, don't do another one! Are you sure the tests you think are darker haven't just darkened over time?

Pisghetti · 17/11/2014 11:05

I will take anyone down in a crisp eating contest.

I'm being unfair - they were grapes rolled in cream cheese, rolled in crushed pistachios. But not even a cheese sarnie to go with them Sad

RPopz · 17/11/2014 11:15

Dulcet calm the Fuck down!! (Couldn't have put it better myself Bother Grin ) Those tests are NOT quantitative. A line is a line is a line. Line with= HCG = upduffedness Smile Only a blood test will give you numbers, rising or otherwise. This is the point Mr P made me stop poasing... Wink

wilmabedrock · 17/11/2014 11:21

Yes popz get the science out, makes for a much more convincing argument!

Those grapes actually sound quite rank, I'd rather have plain ones. I'm in for the crisp contest - as long as they aren't cheese and onion as I feel you reach a limit with those.

DulcetMoans · 17/11/2014 11:22

Whoa, whoa! I don't mean doing another one. I am never doing another one. EVER! Just that the line on the one I did might be darker when I get home as I was comparing wet with dry this morning.

pis, that sounds worse. I'd rather just have the grapes!

People think I look ill. Knew I should have washed my hair!

mountaingirl01 · 17/11/2014 12:18

Re back pain, definitely go see nhs physio they should also be trained to deliver acupuncture which is nice guidelines care for lower back pain.

Dulcet mine haven't got darker either, even dh is making less than helpful mutterings about them. I'm fighting the urge to buy digis also scared of what they might say

mountaingirl01 · 17/11/2014 12:18

Recommendations for a good app?

ZylaB · 17/11/2014 12:43

mountain I've got the one born every minute one, which has some lovely stuff about weekly growth and also daily tips, also got the babycentre one... Purely dos I like the weekly comparison to a piece of fruit or vegetable - this week she's the length of an ear of corn Grin

teejayem · 17/11/2014 12:43

mountain I used Ovia as part of contraband and they have a nice follow on App called Ovia Pregnancy, I've also got Pregnancy+ and Thebump. I'd say those three are the ones I like the best, I have downloaded what to expect, the bump and Glow Nurture, but I found them a bit too geared towards the US, lots of things not localised for UK mums to be.

7 More Sleeps till Scan. eeeeeeeep. Talking to Mr Tee in bed last night, trying to explain scanxiety and he said 'well I doubt they'll find nothing in there, you're massive already' Hmm

God I really want a pot noodle, with Poppyseeded white bread & butter slices to dip in it.

ZylaB · 17/11/2014 12:45

tee I'm craving my lunch too! I have to do my injections 30mins before I eat, cow diabetes in pregnancy is stupid lol, so I've got nice seeded bread to have with corned beef and ketchup (don't ask lol) but I can't have it until 1pm!!

Still, at least it puts me off snacking too much cos I often can't be arsed to do another injection and wait half an hour!

ZylaB · 17/11/2014 12:45

Cos not cow Grin

teejayem · 17/11/2014 12:57

It's ridiculous. I've gone from having no appetite for 3 weeks to basically wanting to eat everything. ALL of the things. Esp if they are covered/wrapped/encased in pastry. Maybe that's why I'm massive Blush

wilmabedrock · 17/11/2014 13:00

zyla you're amazing! I am crap at not snacking. I'm sure I would fuck things up if I had to do everything you have to.

Thanks Mountain, will phone them. I don't have an app because I'm a crap second time rounder so no recommendations. However if anyone wants to tell me which fruit I'm up to at 31 weeks, please do! Feels like a frigging pumpkin Grin .

wilmabedrock · 17/11/2014 13:01

Bet you're not massive Tee. The menfolk always notice it more.

Pisghetti · 17/11/2014 13:25

Four navel oranges Wil ! My app is shite..... I'm a large mango.

I had tomato soup and a finger roll. Well actually two finger rolls as I couldn't separate them out of the freezer this morning. And two cereal bars. And two packets of aldi quaver knock offs Blush

RPopz · 17/11/2014 13:32

That's bloody charming Tee! Men.... Hmm

Sorry Dulce, didn't mean to get the big guns out on you Wink Brew Thanks Pee away... Grin

wilmabedrock · 17/11/2014 13:47

What the frig is a naval orange? A normal one as opposed to a satsuma? Thanks Pis, bit of a copout to double up the fruit though, they should have tried harder to find a suitable food stuff Grin .

That sounds like a great lunch. I had beans on toast and a satsuma and am trying to decide between cheese and haribo...

ChatEnOeuf · 17/11/2014 13:47

Aaahhhhh...so much better! Special unlock code from the security dude and we're blissfully quiet again.

Baby centre app here too, purely for the fruit and veg comparisons Grin

Dulcet shhhhh! Wink Come sit and rock in the corner with us until scan day number 1 Thanks

wilmabedrock · 17/11/2014 13:50

Ooh it's like a conjoined orange. What a weird comparison.

BothersomeB · 17/11/2014 13:57

Just check babycentre website - apparently I'm currently incubating a chick pea! Mr B won't be happy with the 'hippy food' comparison. Perhaps there should be some 'man friendly' ones too - bar snacks perhaps...you could go from a salted peanut to a green olive to a pickled onion to a mini pork pie?

teejayem · 17/11/2014 13:58

I am Lime according to one app, and fig according to another. Lime makes me want corona.

FurryScoob · 17/11/2014 14:09

No sweep, blood pressure up again so been sat waiting in antenatal assesment unit for an hour. DP's buggered off 2 hours away coz he's not waisting another day waiting around, Big argument brewing there! My mums missed work & come with meGrin

Anyone fancy a placenta smoothie for the party? How about placenta burgers?

Leela5 · 17/11/2014 14:15

Oh dulcet I feel like this is all my fault with my stupid digi post! What a nob I am. Really and truly these tests are so not to be relied on, I was just clutching at straws. Please please don't worry, you're going to be fine. When's your next appointment?

Babycentre My Pregnancy Day by Day is fab, I love it

DulcetMoans · 17/11/2014 14:54

Right, I do not accept four naval oranges as a size comparison. Thats lazy, think of one fruit! I am also not a fan of large mango - don't specify a size of the fruit! By that thinking it could be the size of a small melon or a massive lime. It should be averages! I demand a JSing app with size comparisons of actual things. Things like 50 pence piece, doritos, pot noodles and double decker buses. Fixed size objects!

It wasn't you la, honest! I've done the same thing you have, I've had my 3+ which was the first time I had ever seen that too. Just thought it had been a week so what would happen? God knows what I expected though, they are as dark as they can be so the only way they can go is lighter.

No more appointments planned here but will book Drs this week to get midwife referral.
